The Art of Renovation: A Story of Friendship and Perseverance

As I sit here in my newly renovated living room and kitchen, I am filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. My friend Ben and I worked tirelessly for an entire week to bring this space back to life, and it's hard to believe that it took us so long to complete. wall underneath the stairs and also removing this wall to open up the living room so that i can combine these two rooms and then we're gonna build a floating staircase i'm going to fabricate the whole thing myself out of steel because i love metal work i build my own motorcycle so the metal staircase it's something that i've wanted since we bought the house it's a perfectly good set of stairs why would you take them out and rebuild them i would rebuild them because they're ugly and i don't like them i think it's a stupid idea thanks our budget for this renovation is just under four thousand dollars so hopefully i don't blow me and it have to go back to work so we need to get this done as soon as possible i think this renovation is going to be all right and i think we'll be able to complete it i'm sure that between his small brand and my big one we could figure it out mm-hmm yeah but you have a lot of air in yours so mine's packed full of knowledge it's packed full of something last day time to celebrate buddy you ready to get this thing done are you kidding thanks buddy this morning we're drinking a couple beers getting ready to get started looks good i'm happy last night i finished welding the rest of the stair threads through the stringer and we put up your eyewall good job man i'm happy you happy very ready to get started on painting yeah we're so close to finishing this renovation and then we have a little bit left this paint covers really well buddy you can hardly see the imperfections you're going to have a hard time convincing people professionals didn't do this painting's done all right let's put the wood treads in place i'm pretty psyched to see the finished product i love it looks pretty good doesn't it i'm really impressed buddy run these last couple bolts in and uh we're good to go we really done getting there hot diggity one more bolt that's it sweet so we're finally done buddy yeah i think it looks awesome i'm really really happy i can't believe it took us all week to do it but we did it it looks very good i think everybody is going to want some of these thanks for your help anytime actually no don't ever call me again i think it
