"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: ento all the viewers obviously there is no Jeff today unfortunately but in the better light we do have a bite review uh Tom who I've personally been following I actually looked this up I had to go back to see what the first video was that I saw and it was that famous Ikea death setup video really like six or seven years ago so that's how long I've been you man wow crazy to think about that means a lot and it also makes me feel my god I've been on YouTube for too long yeah and and then I didn't even realize that you went even deeper than that like you have videos that are eight nine years old revealing like old Samsung phones and cameras and back when you had hair you know yeah a long time ago now um yeah man I've been doing it for quite a long time the uh those initial I think the initial three years that just had no Direction like so it's Samsung this and then iPhone that and then whatever I kind of thought was cool which is a good way to run YouTube like make stuff over what you think is cool but it just never took off until I kind of niched down a little bit so yeah no absolutely and I mean I guess that's a I mean I kind of want to talk about the YouTube channel because that's the where I want to start off it's something about your videos man that just makes me feel very soothed right and it's a pleasure to watch everything and and even back I went back this morning and I watched those 8-year-old videos and obviously you've evolved but the the essence was there everything was still very calm a lot of it has to do with your voice I think yeah I get I get that quite a lot the voice thing um I guess I I guess I just locked out on that one but you know what what you're saying about um things feeling like calm and aesthetic I just like there's so many Tech channels out there which I'm sure you're aware of them and they all kind of look the same um and I knew that my difference the only kind of difference I can do to make things stand out is potentially run with the idea that mine doesn't quite look like everybody else's and just to lean into the fact that I like you know graphic design and I like all these Japanese inspired stuff so well you can probably see from stuff around me it's still kind of like that and I didn't want to look like a kind of clean clinical space I wanted it to be like a cool comfy kind of cozy place so yeah I'm glad you said that because that's the that's kind of the go yeah no and it's been working but but yeah just a rewind man let's go back all the way to those you know maybe even 10 years ago cuz I know even when I first found found you you were still working as a teacher correct yeah that's right um yeah so I how did you fall into all this I started the channel like it was late 2015 I think um basically to cut because it's quite a long story so I'll cut it as short as I can because it's kind of I I was working at a college as a tutor which is like someone that helps uh students apply to University and stuff and it was like just it just didn't turn out to be for me so like I knew I was going to leave that at the end of the year and then a job came up as a media technician at the same College which was like uh it was part-time I still living at home and I thought I can do that until I find something new so this is like you know 2015 and um part of that role was like helping students with cameras and stuff and back then 2015 I didn't even own a camera I don't really know how I got the job to be honest but you know somebody that was passionate about it you know let's give this guy a shot yeah I mean I don't know how passionate I came across in the the session but it must have been enough to convince them I'm I'm worth going for so I kind of knew I had to learn how to use a camera and stuff and I was like maybe I should get one of my own and I've always been a big YouTube uh fan and Watcher and I was like why don't I make a channel that's probably the best way to to start doing it and uh I knew I wanted it I like doing that stuff because it's fun which is kind of my recommendation to anyone who's starting something creative or starting like a a YouTube channel or an Instagram or whatever like make sure you're doing it for the right reason and that right reason has to be that you like it and it's fun um because if it's not it turns into a job and I think mhm people can get into it for the wrong reason like oh well I want stuff for free or I I want the the you know quote unquote Fame that comes with it and those are all results of making good content there never a reason to start making content um so yeah um and then I funny enough when I was doing sorry sideline there and then um when I was doing this technician job the uh the teachers knew I could use Photoshop and a bit of like video editing stuff so I started teaching Photoshop two hours a week and the year after that it was like seven hours a week and the year after that it was 14 hours a week of teaching and they were like you can't be the technician anymore because you can't legally teach the students this much because I was I was classed as an instructor not a teacher and then okay they're like do you want to be a teacher full-time next year you will have to do your teaching qualification alongside of it and I was like yeah sure and this this all happened from like 2015 through to 2020 um and that's kind of where the channel was spring up sprung up from like those I would say there honestly those first like three or four years of making content I didn't really have a direction didn't really know what I was doing and it wasn't until like it wasn't until I found a bit of a niche with the iPad stuff that stuff started clicking which you know I think this is pretty much how we met um through iPad iPad stuff and yeah and that's when you know I started focusing on it a little bit more cuz I was really enjoying it and I think the iPad Pro had just come out the the redesign that's it the 2018 one I was like the Holy Grail that's it and I thought I think one of the First videos I made of that is like can it replace my MacBook for teaching um which it couldn't at the time and it probably still couldn't now but well it probably could now to be fair um yeah but yeah back then it was it wasn't possible and then yeah I started making content around that and then it kind of led to where it is now it got to the point where I dropped um some teaching hours to three days a week because to be honest I I wasn't I never set out to be a teacher it just kind of happened yeah and then I you know I knew probably deep down it wasn't really what I wanted to do um even though I enjoyed some aspects of it and then um yeah I started earning enough for YouTube to drop a couple days and focus on it so I did that but then I did pick up another job doing marketing with my friend with the um person I run koku with now with Rachel oh interesting I didn't know that turned into like a little marketing agency that you guys running yeah of it was her it was her uh the company that she worked for at the time they were looking for a photographer and videographer okay so I dropped a couple days teaching with the idea of focusing on YouTube but I actually picked up uh working two days a week with her instead and then um basically um you know Co hit and I was like I don't think I want to teach anymore I think I can get by with YouTube and this marketing job um and then I you know I took the plunge I did it I was like you know there's never going to be a good time to do anything which I'm sure you know like they good times don't really exist you just got to run R it when you can and then um yeah and then it YouTube got big enough a couple years ago to go fulltime uh yeah it was two years ago now pretty much that went full time on YouTube and uh yeah stuff started picking up it was only the last couple years that you know I broke 100K on YouTube and now nearing the 200k Mark um it did it took all of that time to figure out what to do and what not to do and stuff like that um yeah which is tough to figure out when you're when you're first starting it really is like to find a niche and to make sure you're catering to them and not going too far off it's it can be really tricky so yeah there's the story no I mean that's I've always wanted wanted to know kind of how it came about and I'm always interested especially on the Creator side cuz I've been obsessed with YouTube since probably it came out and I'm sure you have as well like you were mentioning so it's always cool to see people's stories and how everything just kind of shapes around and it's funny because I was at a kind of like a family gathering last weekend and I was kind of explaining what I do to people right very and how it is kind of difficult and then people were like do you make enough money doing that and I was like yeah and then I had my friend there who's I've known since like elementary school and he was like well yeah like Fernando's been playing with YouTube since like 2012 you know yeah so like he's been around and he's always been doing it for fun and and it's true I think my first video I ever uploaded was in 2013 and it was like way see been around longer than me yeah but it's it was a lot of different things being pulled and then that was still that was like a tech video I remember but then in like 2014 I tried to do the fitness YouTube thing for about a year and that's when I was like daily vlogging this is during the Casey nice that days so I was like daily vlogging myself at the gym if you're ever bored I'm going to put it on here fat dude's Fitness if you want to embarrass me a little bit you can go over there amazing yeah and then Casey night sorry go on go for it no go for it I was just going to say the Casey NI at era of YouTube that 20 what 2016 through to 2019 I something was a was a really great era like I really really enjoyed that I used to love I mean I still love watching YouTube but like that era it was like exploding it really was no even I mean my my now wife but girlfriend at the time we would every every morning we would just like sit down together on the couch and watch the Casey n video for that morning and it was kind of like a ritual yeah I think that was that was definitely the the peak the peak of uh I mean YouTube is still awesome but I just en I remember that having such good memories at that time you know me me too I used to sit in that little technician's closet at my job after handing out a bunch of cameras and watching Casey's video then watching a load of digital rev TV or something like that try and get up to date with camera stuff no it was definitely a fun time but but yeah so I mean I remember I just like revitalized I was like you know what the fitness thing is fun but it was taking like four hours a day because I would go to the gym set stuff up and blah blah blah the ROI just like wasn't there so I was getting kind of burned out and I was trying to do I don't know what I was trying to do I was trying to do the daily Vlog thing right so the burnout set in quick and then then I just got back to the tech stuff and I was doing it for fun while working like you like you were saying and one thing led to another a niche down to the iPad as well story of Our Lives yeah and then yeah like 2 three years ago 9 to5 Mac reached out and I was like you know what this is what I mean I've always wanted to do YouTube you know this is one Avenue to do it and here ever since and it's awesome it's it's awesome because I think I remember finding you specifically when you reacted to one of my videos and I I remember thinking it's the weirdest thing I had that like horrible Sinking Feeling initially I was like oh no what have I said wrong yeah and then I realized it was mainly it was mainly positive stuff I was like oh thank God yeah that's so going call me out for saying something wrong about the iPad or whatever no would never I know I went through uh I so what I would always do with YouTube is like whatever I would watch I would basically create what I would want to watch right that's usually like the rule of thumb yeah so I went through like a phase where I was just consuming a lot of reaction videos so I was like you know what people aren't reacting to Tech videos let me try it you know yeah so I did I did a few I think I did you an MKBHD video unbox therapy back then but no that was definitely a fun time oh man yeah no it's uh luckily like I said it was it was all pretty much good feedback from what I remember but um yeah I think that's how I found you and then we we we've kind of chatted on Twitter and X now since then pretty much haven't we oh yeah for sure and you're uh the creator of some of my favorite wallpapers of all time as well Oh that's oh yes that's very super kind of you man we're uh so I'll link those down below for sure oh that's super kind of you we yeah we're we're always super happy of how those do and yeah it's one of one of the things we do I guess we do here now in the studio rather than me and Rachel sending each other ideas oh yeah so you have so now you have your own studio right like a dedicated Studio you're not a room anymore and yeah how's that been oh it's been awesome we're it's about a year old now we've been in here for just just over a year um which feels weird to uh say because it still feels so new like when I come here I'm always like reminded like this is wild I said a while ago when I used I used to be into music like massively and recording it and stuff I remember saying to my friends at that point you know and at one point I was seriously looking into it so I want to run like a studio I want to run a creative place so I can record bands and music and you know have this cool creative space and I never ever ever for once in my life thought you know realistically I never thought I'd get there ever at all um so it was getting this place was like we took a bit of a leap because obviously we have to hire the studio it's not free um we're luckily we're super lucky because it's like over the road from where both me and Rachel Liv it's very very close which is great um and then yeah for it to come round full circle in for something different for video was this cool moment for me I was like wow I cannot believe YouTube has brought me my own Studio it's Bonkers like I owe so much to the platform um that I you know it's just it's just mad and it's again it's one of those great things I always wanted a studio and then finally getting one um it's yeah it's just crazy and it was super fun to uh decorate it and stuff as well you know like just let it be what I wanted it to be so yeah yeah really cool not really limited by the space or anything like that and I mean it's been beautiful to see see it kind of evolve like it looks good in the background I've seen it in in a bunch of different videos and then even you did something with apple where they kind of like recreated your space Also right yeah yeah like talk to me a little bit about that yeah I'm more than happy to it's it's a d that that period of my life I just talked about like crazy things happening like getting a studio and stuff but getting that kind of initial interest from Apple was absolutely wild like that when you know when basically the idea was they wanted to recreate this studio up at Apple in London and then like get that alone those you know those first chats I had of them were just I was just like not pinching myself but I was a bit like is this is this happening am I like talking to Apple about doing this and yeah they you know they've been super positive and just said y we want to remake your studio and then remember when me and Sam went up there Sam's help out shooting all those kind of day in the life stuff he's really good he's sitting there so he's he's making sure I say the right things um we got up there and like they had like rebuilt most of it I had to take all the frames and stuff all these pictures and like the uh all the stuff you see on the wall yeah they kind of like remade most of it they had the studio display up there and all that sort of stuff and yeah it was like really crazy they were super Keen to have the the koku radio lowii stuff on in the background too that was really nice wow touch and uh yeah man it was just crazy surreal just basically spoke to the Press about why I use a Mac cuz I I did used to use a PC as well so I think that OB helped with the angle like I I used to build my own PCS and stuff like that but when oh yeah you used to have like the little one you used to go between them I remember in your videos I still got it at home I haven't used it in a while I'm thinking about like rebuilding that into something new but um okay yeah I think they you know the story of me switching from custom built PC to Mac for video and for all creative stuff which uh you know kind of helps out the story a little bit um but yeah obviously the fact that they were like you know nothing was too much either if I wanted this for it they'd be like yep no problem or anything like that but yeah it's really cool it's just like a bunch of press like it was about five or six rounds of press used were coming around and just chatting to me and I gave them like a luckily because I used to be a teacher I had a bit of like I can talk the talk when I need to I can yeah yeah the presentation skills are there every day too yeah that's it so I just ran through what I do you know showed them all our wallpapers and stuff like that we make it um kroer studio and explained the lowii a little bit and then just took any questions I was like look I'm a content creator and I use this if you've got any questions you want to ask then go for it and dude I have to say the funniest the funniest thing was the last set of people that came around were content creators and there were like some people that I've watched for years that's so funny and I was like this is weird me talking to you about it because you've been doing it I've been watching you my whole life yeah that's crazy that's kind of how it was it was all for the the MacBook Air um M3 stuff but yeah it was a wicked experience um made a bunch of like I guess friends at the Apple place which was nice really cool and we I gave him a bunch of kuu merch as well to say thank you which is cool no that's awesome for me it was uh when you when you and uh and Noah Herman when you guys were like are doing the Apple stuff it's like I feel like a of Pride I'm like wow oh cheers man the boys made it you know yeah yeah it's you know it's um and that's again all thanks to the iPad the iPad was the first thing that Apple kind of reached out to me about a couple years ago and they said they said do you want to check it out basically and I was like well yeah gotta absolutely sure it's not like a CZ email you know um yeah so and then um it wasn't I think it was last year year before they um got me onto the iPhone stuff as well which is awesome um they've been super nice I mean it's a classic thing when like Apple pay for reviews and stuff it's like trust me they don't I was going to say yeah they don't need to you know like people don't understand that they don't need to pay for anything no they really don't I mean like I say they're very gracious when I was up there and super helpful and all that sort of stuff and could ask for stuff but yeah it was not a um was not a paid paid thing well well I mean that's been awesome to see man but I do want to segue into the iPad a little bit you know like like said that's that's where I Niche down with my personal Channel it was just like I found this kind of world where people wanted to use the iPad and professional settings but they weren't able to and they wanted to workarounds and it was amazing that there was that many people that were interested in it yeah so again 2018 2018 is when I really fell in love with the iPad when the new one came out the I remember I opened it and I was like this thing is crazy this looks wild you know like we're we're in the future and six years later it relatively still looks the same Right For Better or For Worse um so I guess talk to me a little bit about cuz I know I'm one extreme my iPad is my endl BL even though I'm using a MacBook Air right now to record this podcast but where yeah where is where is the iPad fit for you I know you love it I know it's got a place for you in your workflow but it's not your end all be it's um it's not the end all be I've always seen you know I think the same as you when I got that iPad Pro 2018 I was like this is going to replace my laptop and I cannot wait because it's not so much like I was sick of using a laptop far from it I just you know the idea of working on that iPad for like you know for drawing and for like having it just adapt to what you need in the day especially as a teacher can be like C was crazy the idea of it was crazy like I was like no way it's going to be so good for like you know I won't have to plug it in all day number one that's so useful I can like draw on it and I can like Mark people's work on it and I can you know all this stuff I like this is going to be awesome and you know for the most you know some of those parts it was really good like marking people's work and you know being able to draw on us us to link it up to the Smartboard just for USBC and then just draw on it and that was like a almost like a you know a full iPad up there which was cool yeah um and then yeah and then since then same as you I kind of always tried to use in these professional settings that's where a lot of the videos came from was me trying to figure out how I can use it more and get the most out of it and you know because that's what I wanted from it I wanted it to replace my laptop but um it kind of it turned into like you know I think I knew this a couple years ago and it's definitely Fallen that way recently is like it's the best companion you can kind of have for a Mac it's it's really really good at being like a a go between and I think that's where it was initially put you know it's not supposed to replace the Mac even though it kind of can now um it's this yeah awesome little device which is a good go between like so I had it on you know I have it on a stand a lot next to my Mac so I use that universal control and just I can pull stuff over to it and stuff and like used to I still do actually like I just have Twitter on there or I'll just have Instagram on there and I can just pull the stuff over and just post onto it rather than having to like open up my phone which is a big distraction machine yeah and then I can just post on there I can just post on Tik Tok on there and stuff like that which which I've found really useful and it's a good like it's a good scroller like you know if you've got Twitter up on there or something you can just like power through it really quickly without having to like jump to it on your Mac and that sort of thing so for me it been great for that it's still really really good for like um Rachel and I use it a lot for like the koku stuff so she'll draw designs on there for procreate the new uh wallpaper sets we're working on now we're all done on iPad which is cool um a lot of those start on iPad but they never finish there they always kind of finish up in Photoshop or they finish in design depending on what we what we're doing but yeah this the set we're working on on next is all going to be iPad based which is something we're going to shout about a little bit as well because before like I've been reluctant to say like I do it all on there because it's not strictly true it's like they start on there but then they kind of evolve but um yeah is is there a reason I'm just kind of curious It's just tools like Photoshop is just like you can if you can do like and I'm sure this kind of goes for the iPad as a whole you can do like 80% on it and then when you just need something really specific it's like okay bring it over to the mac and we'll get the we'll get the final bit touched up or something like that you know that's just that's just how it goes um but yeah like I say this this new set should all be iPad based which is cool oh that's nice yeah so I mean I guess you found a a nice little living space for the iPad for for me it's been uh I want to say I do like 95% of it every now and then like I said I'm using the MacBook Air right now to record this podcast I'll even sure like I edit all my videos on the iPad but then offload it to an SSD and then I upload it from a Mac why I don't really know cuz I could obviously just upload it from my iPad but sure there's something there's there's like this something this like last mile of doing anything on the iPad where you just feel a little bit more secure on a Mac on a Mac computer 100% that's kind of have my sense with it I'm exactly the same if I I did a few edits on iPad for like Instagram reals and stuff and i' like I still just end up pulling it over to the Mac just because like just finishing it on there just something not right like the browser experience on iPad is great but when it comes to like YouTube analytics and stuff it's like I need it to be like I need thek full deal it's like booking a a holiday on your phone is just wrong it's like get the computer 100% agree that's a great comparison it's like yeah I'll do a little research on my phone you know to see where I'm going but when I'm yeah when I'm paying I'm going computer yeah exactly and I I still have a bit of that definitely comes to like yeah the iPad and Mac use but I'm I was going to say I'm super impressed that you've like can do or you do do so much on it like whenever whenever you like post on Twitter it's like I'm doing the the Full Video Edit on here and it's funny because something about video editing Feels So Right for iPad like it should it should be incredible on there and it can be but like fin a cut on there's just like I'm so used to the Mac version not having it all just feels really strange and I know like you use Luma Fusion don't you yeah I do yeah I know that's a like a really good one but it's like am I really going to learn a new video editing tool for for no real reason you know it's moving between video editors is like a oh it's a hassle I moved from Premier to to Final Cut and that was enough no yeah I mean I definitely I think the I fell in love with the hardware so much back in 2018 2019 that yeah I definitely like forced myself onto the iPad it was obviously more efficient to do most things especially from a workst standpoint on a desktop but I just I wanted like you said earlier like I wanted my iPad to be my computer so badly that I was like you know what I'm going to deal with the with the uh what's the word I'm looking for not the consequences but the sacrifices that I'm making in terms of time efficiency and things like that yeah and then over time it it has gone faster I've gotten more used to it like you mentioned with Final Cut Pro on the iPad I tried it but like you said like I didn't I just I wasn't familiar with it I you don't know what you don't know and I was like you know what I'm just going to go back to Luma cuz I know I've very quick with it I know exactly what to do with it and I'm learning as I go with Luma Fusion I don't want to have to like relearn six years worth of a editor and in in one go we're we're both in the place where we're like actively uploading a lot and it's like slowing down in terms of video editing is not a great move in the industry that we're in so it's like am I really going to spend time learning this extra thing which might not be as good as what I'm currently on or might be better but in different ways or something it's too tough and dude going back to what you're saying about like you know wanting to use the iPad I think Apple do a really fantastic job of making you like when you when you're working when you when you're working on something it feels great when the iPad like clicks it's like the best thing ever it's so so good you're like I want to do all my work here because it rocks because when I'm taking notes or something like that it's like I'd love to just jump into Final Cut on there and just do a bit there and jump back and stuff like that because when it works it's like there's no better feeling Apple do a really good job of like I think bringing that fun back to work which is a weird thing to say but they you know when you see a Macbook you're like oh that's that's a lovely piece of Hardware you know you want to work on it no for sure I mean and that's been my whole thing with like I recently came out with a video about you know using the M4 iPad Pro and why I like it better even though why I like it better than Max it's just it's a more fun device and sure the versatility is insane when you really start to think about it you know it's it's a notepad it's a design tool it's a canvas it's a gaming device now it's a dummy monitor like we've made videos before yeah you know it's a pro level device and a great example was yesterday something so I spent so much time yesterday dealing with car insurance yeah right and I had to do some switches and obviously you had to sign paperwork but it's such like a legacy uh industry where they're like oh yeah we're going to mail you with the documents and you have to like sign them and then mail them back and I was like oh can you just like email them to me yeah like oh yeah it'll be in your dashboard but you still have to print it out and sign it and mail it back and I was like so literally with the lady on the phone I was like all right mail it email it to me and I pulled it out on my iPad filled out the PDF right then and there with her and then mailed it right back to her you know and I was like she was like oh wow nobody's ever done this like yeah I'm not going to waste four days for you to just take my signature yeah oh my God man so little things like that where the iPad's like wow you know what this makes my life so much easier oh yeah 100% yeah and the thing is you can't underestimate how if if you're having fun on a device like making something then there is you can't underestimate how good that is for you and how good that is for like your you know workflows and stuff it's like I don't want to get off this thing because it's so awesome but yeah yeah for sure Apple a great at doing that absolutely so last iPad thing before we move on what what are your final thoughts on I guess not final thoughts but your current thoughts on the M4 iPad Pro the update to it uh how is it how does it compare to the rest of it what are your thoughts on it yeah um I mean look it's an incredible piece of Hardware think every body knows that I I think I went as far as to say in my review that is Apple's best piece of Hardware right now yeah in terms of like what what it is and what it you know the power they've packed into it the fact that it's so slim and light the fact that the screen is that that dual LED is is mad it looks fantastic it it's absolutely their best device you know for me there's probably no point upgrading if you're on M1 or higher stuff there there's just no point there's no like I don't think there's any killer features unless you're like a really specific user like a high-end artist or if you're you know you've got something very specific you need to do and that new pencil is like the one to do or you need that screen or something that pencil under that pencil kind of blew me away I was not expecting anything from The Squeeze feature and I was like this is sick the pencil's so so good like I that was when when they did the event when I was there and they announced the pencil I was like that this is the bit I'm most excited about and that's feels so weird to say from me was the opposite I was it came out and I was like this looks this is I know it's going to have a different functionality but this looks identical nothing's really going to change my use cases aren't going to be different but then I started using it and I was like the haptics alone the new haptics on the pencil alone are absolutely magical 100% yeah it's it's awesome and like I I'm not I'm not an artist by any stretch of the word like I'm not there drawing like incredible pictures or anything but all those little it's like Quality of Life Update isn't it it's just it just makes the whole thing better and I've like I've still got the I've got an iPad Mini still which is got the other pencil and it's still absolutely fine but when I switched that Pro I'm like oh man this this really is better um I'm glad they for sure I'm glad they made it like actively better rather than just like a different version that you can't use on the older iPads yeah that's good but yeah my O My overall thoughts is like you know a lot of people want iPad OS to basically be Mac OS which I don't think is the right cool but I I think there's so much they could do to iPad OS to just give it the little bumps it needs like M there's some really silly stuff with like when you connect to a external display there's still a bunch of stuff which is just so weird on there like the files app still feels like it just might not work a lot of the time copy and paste and stuff like simple stuff and I I get the hesitancy to make it you know not too much like a Mac but yeah you know the software I don't think it needs to be Mac OS but it needs it needs like a bit of a a juicing and I was hoping iPad OS 18 would do that you know this brand new piece of incredible Hardware let's go with some new cool software um but we kind of just got the appid intelligence stuff which I don't think is coming to the UK for like another year or so so like that's tricky for me to like an opinion on yeah but yeah man I it's hard to say I think this is something else which a lot of people get confused about is like it's like you know Apple this wasn't made for anyone on like the M2 I think a lot of people like why youg word upgrade it's like well it's not you know if you're on an older iPad this just means you're going to get the absolute best one if you buy a new one if you got an M1 like yeah maybe don't bother upgrading is the problem is and I'm sure you have the same is like it's really easy for me to say that but because I'm a content creator like I kind of need the new one to make content yeah even if the content isn't spec like even if like it's not benefiting me like specifically like it's not a tool it's again it's like part of what you need to happen to be able to review it you know 100% I've started building that into my reviews I did my M3 MacBook a review I was like look I'm going to start talking about Creator bias now because like most people don't need like the the beefed up processor and the beefed up RAM and stuff because if you're just doing spreadsheets and stuff you'll be fine but like I'm a Creator so I'm going to be pumping out all sorts of different work which requires lots of creative tools which I know let's say 90% of the population don't do yeah so I've yeah started trying to build that into my videos now like look warning creative bias yeah no Absolut I mean and I went so my upgrade was from the M1 iPad Pro the base model to the M4 iPad Pro with one tab so I got the 16 gigs of RAM sweet so like the the actual experience itself pretty identical an iPad at the end of the day is an iPad and that's for better for worse whether you get the iPad 9th generation or the latest and greatest the experience is going to be 90% the same right there's different functionalities and features depending on which one you get but for the most part iPad OS is iPad OS but going from an M1 iPad Pro to the M4 for me as a Creator that's exporting a bunch of files all the time and moving data it made it almost twice as fast especially with the 16 gigs of RAM and like I noticed the power and the performance efficiency right away you know that's awesome yeah so that kind of you know makes total sense for you because like it's it's time saved even if it is like let's say 20 minutes a week or something exactly over the time that that will add up and it will make your like life easier there'll be like less stress thinking about what's going on with this what's going on with that so yeah for sure that makes total sense dude I'm on I'm pretty much the same upgrade path as you I my iPad was the the 12.9 M1 Pro mhm and I just jumped up to the M4 um yeah CU Apple sent me a few review units which is awesome but I was thinking like I probably you know probably won't bother upgrading um because like what what going to you know going to do it's also expensive man to get like a heavy like I spent with the magic keyboard and the apple pencil because of course you can't use the old one uh it was like two grand or something all in it's pretty expensive for you know like a tablet especially or even a computer hugely yeah I mean this is the thing like you know Apple's Hardware is expensive and kind of regardless of how you look at it it really is um and that's where a lot of people start comparing it between a Macbook it's like why don't you just get a MacBook it's like well yeah I mean why don't you then you go for it I've always been very open with that it's like but it is at the end of day it's a different device like I always recommend if you can only have one I would still get a Macbook if I say too if you have like it's like oh I have $1,000 like go go get a Macbook go get MacBook Air yeah and be blown away by how good it is yeah I'm on the MacBook Air train now it's so good I love the MacBook Air I love the form factor how light it is it's easy to use you know I haven't had a MacBook Pro in such a long time it's been a very long time since I've had a MacBook Pro I'm in like a terrible position because like because I moved to the studio i' just I've bought I've got like two Studio displays now which was you know Silly money in itself and then I've got Mac Studio and a MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air and the iPad Pro is you got the whole honestly sometimes yeah sometimes I'm like what am I doing but then i' got to think hey it's part of the Creator bias we'll go back to the the Creator bias exactly back back to the Creator bias so there you go yeah so I know I know you said that you can't really pass judgment on it because Apple intelligence might not be coming to the UK but I do want to I mean we haven't gotten it here in the US either obviously but like what do you are you as on the hype train as apple is do you think it's going to make our lives that much easier like are you are you buying the promise or what do you think I don't know it's so hard to say I yeah I think another thing which comes into it is kind of like this going to sound it might sound a bit odd but like location like I live in a pretty small town in MH the UK and a lot of like you know things like Transit and airports and flights and stuff are just not an issue for me like there is no train you know I I get in my car if I want to go somewhere there there's no like I'll check the you know when's mom Landing in her plane and you know when can I get an Uber and stuff like that like none of that exists down where I am so it's it's hard to like feel I think it'll be hard to feel the the impact of it the way it was shown off because I think they showed off some like emails about flights and stuff and that that looked awesome but I was like that's cool I'll never use it but like I say in the right situation I'm sure it's awesome but yeah I honestly again I hate to be like wishy-washy but so hard to judge I think a lot of it especially with like what Samsung put out is like a lot of his kind of lip service it's like yeah it kind of is cool I think removing objects from images is probably something which everyone can get behind that is useful on the on the iPad front I'll remove it and then kind of just like fix it a little bit and post you know it works pretty well I'm the same as well yeah got that magic eraser let's go um but yeah like the other the other stuff which you know generating like a cartoon image of something is I don't know like for what yeah the problem is we're just showing our age at that point you know yeah yeah I mean it's it's ear days as well like I say this a lot about technology like I I think the same about the Vision Pro it's like it's at the Sega want talk about that too yeah it's at the Sega Mega Drive level now do you know what I mean it's like it's like the first iteration which people are kind of getting on with or I guess Genesis over in America you know in 10 years time it will be so so different so it's almost like I almost don't want to you know poo poo it because it's brand new we don't know yet yeah yeah we just don't know but yeah as as for now it ain't coming to the UK for a little bit longer I think so it's it's kind of hard to say you might have to fly over to to New York and and try it out with me yeah local live video you know that'd be cool but uh but I do have you made Vision Pro content or no no it's only just come out it's literally only been here in the UK for like 14 days um have you gone to go demo it or no no like dude this is sorry going back to geography like I don't I don't we don't have an Apple store so I have to how far is the nearest Apple store about an hour and a half away it's not too long um well no it's a bit less than that it's a bit less than that but it's it's not too long but it's a small Apple Store you know it's like you there's no there's no space for like Sofas in there like you see in you know when people are demoing out and stores it's like this big thing it's like you know there are places like that in London and stuff and the bigger cities but you the biggest city to where I am is exitor and the Apple Store there's very small okay but yeah I would love to try out I've actually never tried out any VR ever so I'm like you're like me missing on yeah yeah cuz I either v no I did so I I did get the Vision Pro I ended up selling it but I I'll give you my two cents about it but it Vision Pro was uh my first 4A into any AR VR I think I tried the meta Quest once but like I took it off my head after 10 minutes you know or after five minutes and all I did was like walk the plank I remember so that was my first uh so the Vision Pro I mean justes to give you my quick synopsis yeah tell me I'd love I'd love to know what it's like it's uh it's as close to like magic as you can get not to like overhype it yeah the the tech is awesome the way that it works is is you have these like Mo I have like these moments where I was like wow I can't believe this is working like this is working how it's supposed to work I'm using my eyeballs to like to decide on where to go you know and some of the some of the use cases and demos are surreal and there there's a reason why it's so expensive CU it's it works very well yeah but in that same light it was like after I used it for a while and I played with all the really cool stuff and I was wowed by it in my like on a normal Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. I had no use for it you know like I I could put it on and use it as a second display for my monitor but a it only works for Mac yeah doesn't work with my iPad and M was just like yeah that is right even though it runs iPad apps yeah I was going to say it's more iPad like than I guess it is a Mac yeah so I just couldn't find a a good use case for it especially at that price point sure for me to be able to hold on to it and keep it I ended up selling it I've heard the same from a lot of people Everyone not everyone but most people have spoken to have said similar stuff like can't justify hanging on to it and you know other other creators as well have said the same thing which is again bringing in that creative bias you'd think it would stick around but yeah um yeah like there was there was nothing uh I guess like I'm not going to say wasn't there wasn't like professional reasons to use it there have been use cases like in the in the doctor field and things like that but for what I was doing day-to-day it didn't add any value it was very cool to play with very cool to show off to people seeing people's reactions with it yeah but then also I'm in a situation where I'm in a room all day by myself and the last thing I want to do is when I get off of like stop working get off of work put this headset on and like ignore my wife and daughter yeah you know it's not quite right is it yeah so it isn't it it felt weird to do especially after the honeymoon period ended again very cool and I'm excited I think if for me personally I think of live sports once live sports becomes a thing to be able to view it through oh go then I'll have a different conversation with you because I'm I'm a sports big Sports guy yeah I I'm not into sports but I'm into the F1 thanks to Netflix of course and uh you know I've seen like the the demos of what that could potentially do like looking at cars and the track and stuff that would be sick I mean I think you'd have to be broken inside to not think that's cool like that's the ultimate one but yeah you're right I mean getting like a top down view of a pitch or like being there with other fans when you can't be like wow that would be awesome like courtside at an NBA game or even that I mean I had a a little video go viral on Twitter where it was I did have like I wasn't viewing it in VR AR but I had my like NBA app open in one side I had like a I was playing a game on the other side so it was cool like it was very very Iron Man like and uh but again I think the price point is a little uh restrictive for a lot of people cuz sure you can bet a Macbook iPad and iPhone for that price you know yeah so that's awful to think about right uh but let's see how it evolves I think I think eventually it'll hit its stride it's definitely the best thing I've ever seen uh From arvr perspective yeah and then we'll just see what Apple ends up doing with it after uh because I'm curious to see how Europe kind of takes it in it's weird that they didn't release it all right away but I'm curious to see what people's reaction are kind of on your side side it took a while and a few people have asked me why or not why or they've asked where where's the Vision Pro video and and content but I don't know about you it must must be the same for you but I think when it first came out it had this massive virality a lot of people went viral from wearing it like in you know on a train or on a plane and stuff like that which is cool but actually and I've noticed this massively because because I'm a YouTube consumer first and foremost is watching watching people use Vision Pro sucks like you can't you can't get a sense of what it's like and when they show the screen recording from the inside it's all jittery and it's all like it just looks rough and it you know when you're using it I'm sure it doesn't look rough but from the outside in it does not sell the look or the feeling the same way that I think people can't connect with it like you can connect with using the phone because you use it every day and you know with on our iPad you can show something off and people can use it immediately which is awesome but for a Vision Pro it's very difficult to show it off in a way which people understand or people are actually even interested in buying one most people have already turned off because it's three and a half Grand so they can't afford it so they're not going to watch content on it it it was even with like I said with the screen like you said with the screen recording it was it still kind of looked like broken cuz Apple's doing this like again I'm learn I learned like new vocabulary like fiating in terms of like blurring out things and then so it doesn't translate in a 2d space and it was so there's only so much you can show off so I do think if anybody does have the opportunity especially now that it's in more countries go get go get a demo the demo will be enough to to wow you and be like wow this thing is actually really cool and just kind of scratch that itch to figure out exactly what it's like because the demo you know spend 20 30 minutes with it it's it's a good uh stepping stone to see what it's like yeah I need to I need to book in and go and see it for sure I'm also worried of course because if I if I wear one in a video I have to take my hat off and then my big boldness will be on show for the world to see yeah you do have it hat on I'm 24/7 huh pretty much pretty much for me on the I'm just kind of I'm growing my hair out right now so it's crazy you know man you've got a a strong hairline there I know I got I don't know where where it came from cuz my dad's pretty bald oh is he so you the worst the worst part is my dad isn't Bal he's got a pretty good headline so really yeah it's some old genetics kicking around which decided to uh do me over oh yeah when did you when did you decide to just shave it off do you know what I was a teacher at the time so I knew the students reaction would be cruel and and crushing so um I basically over a summer holiday because you get the six weeks off or whatever I'm sure I don't know if it's the same in the USA um and in that time I was I basically saw a few pictures of myself from behind and like the B patch was like just it was I want I don't want to say B patch because there was hair there but it was a b patch and I was like it's got to go I just said to my girlfriend I like right I'm going to buy the shaver let's do it and she's like are you sure I was like yep just get it gone and then the first day I got back to college the first thing I said I came in I was wearing a hat I just took my hat off I was like look before we get started I am now bold you're going to have to all get used to it and I and I also said to him I was like I'm so annoyed because none of you told me I look stupid from behind I was like no one had the gut so funny hey I mean that's tough people don't want to accept that you know it it sucks dude the worst part is I still get ads on I still get ads online like from keeps it's like oh keep your hair I was like it's gone mate it went years ago so I always press not interested but it keeps popping back up it must be because I'm because I'm over 30 and a male yeah I wasn't ask how how old you are I have no idea I'm the full 33 okay nice the full the full 33 yeah so I'm I'm 30 so I'm I'm there with you oh that's okay then did you look much younger must be the hair probably the hair I mean if I shave this dirty mustache off my face I'd look even younger dude the worst part is I can't grow a beard either so I'm like the fullon is there's no beard there's no hair it's Dreadful but I mean if it's the aesthetic of the channel too it's for in some way you know that's nice of you to say even though it's not true oh man for anyone out there who is listening and who was going through that period I would just recommend pulling the plaster off I felt PL times better literally the second I shaved it I was like why didn't I do this two years ago like I only know you without hair like when I saw there was like one thumbnail when I was looking at your old videos I was like whoa whoa whoa you had hair yeah and the worst part is when I look back like the hair wasn't even that good like you know was doing the side side over you had like very straight hair yeah it's a it's a depressing thing to look at now I like I I always say to go over like I wish I did it when I was like 22 or something just done it then just like people as as that but uh but right so one more thing that I I do want to talk about cuz I noticed it in your last video before we do a little Board Association game that I want to do uh so you did a video about like your favorite tech of like the half point of the year yeah yeah and one thing that stood out to me was a that you were wearing so basically you've talked about the Apple watch and your relationship with it for a split second sure right CU I am I'm pretty addicted to my Apple watch yeah right if I don't put it on every single morning it feels like my day doesn't count sure right so yeah so you moved away it looks like you went into actual watches right yeah so tell me a little bit about what you think about in general yeah what is your relationship with Apple watch why did you stop you because you mentioned that you have thoughts about it that you're going to kind of put in a video yeah had a video I've had a video like I don't really write scripts anymore because I I don't use an or anything I just it goes off the Dome as such yeah same but I have like you know bullet points of what I'd like to talk about and I've had a video I guess like half scripted out of like why I don't use it anymore that sort of stuff but I've always been kind of reluctant to make it because the channel I always think the channel isn't about I want to make people excited for Tech not for not the opposite way around and I know a lot of people really love them like you know you just said you love them I don't you know I don't want to talk smack about a product which I know a lot of people really love which is why I haven't reviewed the theme deck because I hate that thing but everyone you playing it you were playing that game the what was it to which is absolutely awesome on Ste de it really is awesome but yeah basically um I was a bit like you I was putting on every day and the days I didn't put it on I feel like that day didn't count um and then I was also it kind of came to a Crux point for me because I was as a again going to throw up the Creator bias here um but I get a lot of notifications as I'm sure you do uh probably more than the average person because I get over a thousand a day through Instagram which is a lot I've turned off all that stuff I've turned off most of Instagram now which you know could have probably alleviated a lot of it but basically what happened was I was talking to a friend and um I got a sponsor offer in and it was one I'd been chasing for a while um and came through and I looked at my watch and I was like oh and I immediately broke a conversation with him like immediately and I read this whole thing on my watch like you know this was I wasn't being intentional about it I just you know talking like we are now and I just went like that and he was still talking and I was just looking at it like using you know scrolling yeah and I was like you know in my head I was like oh sweet you know that that's finally come through awesome and I was like man I've just like completely broken my human connection to read this digital thing on my watch like what's what's more important right now is talking to my friend not looking at my watch for you know an email which could have easily wait you know this was in the evening anyway it's nothing I could have done to reply because they you know American based on UK UK so they weren't you know they wouldn't have been whatever it's not it would have picked up um so that was a big one for me um and I was like this isn't you know you can say the same for a phone a lot of people look at their phones all the time but my phone is on silent now all the time I have no I have vibrate off you know it's just basically dead unless I decide to pick it up um yeah it was just kind of input overload also I I needed the the watch ring came up oh man I something about being over 30 it will happen to you soon when when you just like start looking at watches and it's like oh no now I want this and now I want that and then YouTube algorithm took over and it's like only showing me watch content um oh wow and then basically um my brother got married a few years ago because I a few years ago and I I was like I can't wear an Apple Watch to a wedding I need to buy an actual watch like or just not wear one so I ended up buying a watch but I wore it for the wedding and then put it in a drawer and then when you you know when I decided to not uh wear the Apple watch I start wearing it again and I was like oh this is actually really nice why did I stop wearing it and all the photos I saw myself in and videos and stuff was like oh it actually looks nicer than just a square on my wrist like a blank Square yeah and yeah it kind of came from those two places really like I will I will make this video at some point because um Sam who who was helping me out earlier in the year um had like a really good idea of how we could do it so we'll we'll do that at some point together um I defin be looking out yeah he's great he has so many ideas which I don't have in like a more film making fashion whenever you see a video on my channel it's more filmmy like the day in the Liv yeah it's got s which I love by the way yeah thank you they they're the most popular um not in terms of views but in terms of like good comments back um it's it's all iio so much to Sam he funnny enough is also Rachel's husband out so yeah yeah he does a lot uh with that which which makes it great but we're we were working together for a little bit we're not so much now um but we kind of called on each other when we need it which works really well nice that's interesting how you bring that up because I mean I I also get a ton of notifications and it is annoying and end up putting my stuff in a certain Focus mode a lot of the time where like literally the only person that can reach is my wife but for for me I'm I'm addicted to it for like the fitness features of it so and again I I have found myself wanting wanting to wear a normal watch but I won't do it because I want to get my steps in I want to make sure I close my rings I want to make sure my heart rate is being measured at all times because I've gamified the health kit app and stuff like that so that's why I like if the question of if Apple made a ring that gives me 90% of the data that the Apple watch gives me want that I would move to I immediately I would go to the ring you know so so that's kind of like where I'm at but I do get that that feeling of the oh like I just ignored my friend to look at this cuz that does happen to me from time to time but yeah it's I got yeah it's a problem with like everything as a whole you know everything's grabbing for attention anyway so it's no different from just checking your phone when someone's talking to you um but the watch just made that a little bit easier to just quick check I mean checking your watch anyway like is a bit of like a it's almost like a rude it's almost more rude CU it's like when's you know when are we done sort of thing which um so yeah yeah and sometimes you do it by accident like I'm not checking the time I'm just like I'm seeing if like somebody I guess that that's also B if somebody like important texted me you know yeah saying like you're not important to me exactly and you know like I say I saw that I don't see that friend all that often so it's like you know what really was more important but the thing is it's like you said the for Fitness stuff and for safety for like you know the car crash stuff and everything I cannot you know this is why the video hasn't really surfaced because I don't want to be like put people put off wearing it because if if you love it and it helps you stay more connected and it helps you know it helps in terms of safety and it helps for this and it helps that then please buy all you know don't let me stop you at all yeah um no for me it's helped with uh I went through this like spell maybe two three years ago with like health anxiety right I don't really know why it kind of just like started happening and uh that's why I started running which I was not a runner ever in my entire life so not to sound like I don't know I don't even know what the word I'm looking for is but basically the Apple watch really helped with that health anxiety I would run I would time my my runs I would see how my heart rate was doing over time how it got better in terms of resting heart rate and my overall Fitness and things like that so it really helped kind of settle me in terms of the health anxiety thing and now now I'm good so so in terms of that's great yeah I would love to have a different form factor so I can cuz I do have watches like I have a I have a very nice watch that uh was given to me about my dad when I graduated college and I don't wear it that even at fancy dinners you know it's a shame so so I should be wearing that more it's also like like you said when when Co hit like I put on a bit of weight I think I did talk about this in a video at one point I'd put on a bit of weight and then I started out yeah I started working out and the watch was great for that and then at one point my watch pinged me I think I was just sitting down and it said your resting heart rate has gone down this is really good for your health it means you know things are on an uptrend I was like wow that's crazy i' never know that normally yeah it was just like it was nice a nice confirmation and like you said the days when I was uh working out I didn't wear it I was like oh it doesn't count I've like wasted that day and that's like I ran for no reason yeah and that was that was a really hard thing to break I had to like remind myself is like you're you're still getting the exercise it's just not being tracked but I know it's a big it's a big thing and like that's why people wear Gins and stuff don't they because they they want to track all that stuff no for sure it's a hard hardest one to break off of it really was the first like couple weeks I was like this sucks because I I like I like the Apple watch a lot I really do are you going to be wearing it anytime soon again or no or is it kind of for the most part in the back burner it's it's definitely in the back burner for now i' I'm kind of excited to see if app will do like a series 10 and they change up the design a little bit I know that's a big Rumor for this year um and I've still got my Apple watch did think about selling it but again the the Creator bias like I need to like if something cool and new and interesting comes out for it I kind of want to check that out so I don't want to get rid of it for sure 11 is kind of nice I've been playing with it but again on the out side like with the vital feature and the training load so I also have video kind of lined up you're in the ultra aren't you uh Ultra one yeah I also use it as I use it as a viewfinder since I use my iPhone that's a I use the viewfinder every single day sweet so well is there replaceable in a away then yeah exactly so it's tough but you know we got to find a middle ground not go so extreme I'm a big man of extremes unfortunately that's fair enough I I did try the ultra on in Apple watch uh in a store when it came out and I did think this is awesome I think it's really really cool yeah now I'm a big fan of the ultra yeah but uh but I I know we're coming up on an hour I know we have to kind of wrap it up but I do want to do a quick little word association game right right with Apple products so I'm going to I'm going to name an Apple product and you give me a one or two word description of what comes to mind immediately if you want to elaborate a little bit on a couple bu all go for it you know I'll keep it to two yeah maybe I'll ask you a question maybe I'll ask you to elaborate on one if it's an interesting word that you kind of pick out all right so I think I have like eight or nine listed here so let's start with uh let start easy you know original iPhone give me word game changer game changer that's a good one okay uh airpods absolutely essential o it's true I use my airpods for freaking I love the airpods man I'll die on that Hill yeah I think it's my most used product right I I feel sick if I leave them behind I'm like oh oh oh my God I will turn back around up to like probably an hour be like nope I got to go back and get them I can't I can't start my day yeah uh I feel that for sure especially airpods Pro the Y the amount of power you get out of those things from oh man honestly if if I lost them I would buy them the next day same those that's one of the things where I'm like immediately I would get another one yeah no questions asked like uh like I have the Sonos ovar headphones great headphones in their own right but even at half the price and one 10th of the size airpods Pro probably even better in the base Department which is crazy but uh all right so we elaborate on that one uh original iPod I think I'm going to just have to say great memories because that's a good one for me like that was like the I think it's the first Apple product owned was iPod mini um that's uh let me see if I have it here yeah my first ever Apple product was also it was yep I still have I have it like this little guy right here amazing yeah that that is literally the one I think I had the silver one yeah that was my first this is my this is my original one too I got to get a 30 pin connector and see what kind of music is on this thing I got my um my uh mom's husband gave me this a while ago so it's one of the uh 40 gig ones I'm going to try I want to try and mod it and get it back up and I'm running yeah I've seen there's like a whole Rabbit Hole of YouTube videos where people are modding old iPad or old iPods like adding Bluetooth to it getting it to work with video even though it wasn't a video iPod cool stuff kind of like the whole game boy modding that I was kind of getting into yeah oh man that's another be careful but yeah def great memories for me on that all right let's do a couple more um the iPad magic keyboard um I'm going to go with I want to say expensive expensive productivity uh because it is very it's great I don't there is no better keyboard that is but it's a lot for what it is I agree yeah yeah it's like if you have to have one accessory and third parties have tried to mimic it and they get the keyboard part is fine but something about the trackpad on the yeah it's it's tough man it's tough to mimic it with Bluetooth Apple make generally speaking for for iPad stuff they make the best the accessories are just top tier on there it's how for sure all right uh here's a funny one air power uh uh I get a forgotten potential I think it could have been awesome no yeah it really could have been awesome it's a shame to be fair it's a shame it never came out because I think pretty much everyone would have their one on their desk right yeah for sure I feel like there be a lot less three in one Chargers out in the market because Apple would have just dominated it you know dude there's there's some things which I just don't get why Apple haven't made them including like a three in one and like an iPad stand where is the iPad stand right oh yeah you mentioned that in your last video yeah cuz yeah I had the the is that how you say Kuku I don't even know I think someone corrected me it's qo I think Q okay no yeah I have their iPad stand right here I love it it's sweet so good if Apple made it I'm sure they would figure out how to I'll pay yeah I'll pay as much as you want man literally uh all right then a few more but on the services product side so FaceTime oh man um this is really tough cuz I barely use it um really yeah again I think it's one of the UK things is like we all just go through WhatsApp so um It's Tricky for me to have a I guess it was the first one do you yeah FaceTime honestly it's so so so rare I'd FaceTime somebody like so rare um so it's like I would rather FaceTime somebody than phone call them really yeah that's that's that's how much I use FaceTime dude I think this what I mentioned about geography thing I think are really really different depending on like kind of the your own kind of situation I I have to give you some words say I I guess what I can say is like first video you know because it was really the first it it's the thing that popularized it on phones it was the first video cool so that's for sure sorry face that's interesting I had no idea that like if you're like waiting at a bus stop or not a at a train stop people are FaceTiming each other they're not they're not on the phone but they'll treat it like a phone call they'll be like talking like this but it's like I see people like FaceTiming no that's not the experience I've had in UK at all I think it's because the data the data towers are more reliable than the cell towers probably because they're they're different I think that's what it is here in the US in fness you use the the FaceTime um audio is I use that more way more than the actual actual you know video time yeah okay uh continuity uh I'm straight up I'm just going to say so awesome because I do love it I think it's great like being able to move from the iPad to the Mac was like such a big deal for me and being able to copy something on my phone and just press paste on the mac oh come on that's Game Changer that right there is one of the best things in the world yep and the new Mac OS and iPhone are getting that iPhone mirroring yeah you know that's going to be sweet as well it means I have to pick up my phone even less so all up for it continuity is awesome it's one it's one of the features which makes you think that Mac is like 10 step ahead of Windows sometimes it's like it's just operating on another level I mean I'm using continuity camera right now yeah which is crazy you know mad so so good it's amazing and I can switch to my iPhone mic in a second if I needed to yeah if like this cut out or something super cool no I love continuity and I guess the last one we'll go with let's go with mag safe but mag safe uh on the iPhone not like the old school mag safe yeah which Apple's got to figure out how to to differentiate the name yeah yeah so that's because I do really like M it's awesome um I'm gonna go sticky good sticky goodness sticky goodness no no I love mag safe that little uh the mof stand that you talked about the other day love that stand one of yeah like one of those things I was like I'm probably never going to use this thing I like and then I use it all the time they they sent it to me as a sponsor like earlier in the year and when I when it came through I was so unsold on it I was like this I don't know why I'd ever used this and I've I've been using it nonstop it's so so good whenever I need to film a real whenever I need to take a picture like I said in that video I just slap it on because I I never have it attached to the actual phone it's just in my pocket or it's in my wallet or something just slap it on get the photo real quick bam sweet a cool little thing I came out with one recently did you see the the like physical notepad they released they sent me yeah interesting yeah Super ma MAF comes out with some unique stuff for sure yeah they do they like they they really lent into that origami kind of thing it's cool sure Max St is is great sticky goodness I like that one but I mean that's all I yeah that's all I wrote down all I wrote down for the word I mean that was cool I kind of wanted to see your idea of how you kind of thought that way I've never actually done that before so so I appreciate it man no no worries but uh but I mean we went on for a little over an hour I know I said it was going to be like half an hour but I so I appreciate it man so for kind of wrap it up here unless you have you have anything else to say any questions any anything you want to um you know no not really like to say if we if we've already gone over I'll let people get back on with their day all right perfect man but I'll link everything down below your website YouTube channel socials check out Tom from bite review you will not be disappointed I've been watching this guy like I said six seven years now at this point and every video is better than last they should put you in a videos are kind of on on roll in like some sort of art museum is what I always say oh it's very kind of you cheers man thank you so much for having me it's been it's been a blast yeah I appreciate it man we'll do this again sweet thanks everybody bye bye\n"
