YuFit Budget Fitness Band Review - Highly Inaccurate Tracker

The Fitness Tracker Review: A Mixed Bag

As I put on the Fitbit band, I was excited to see how it would perform. The display is sleek and modern, showing me the number of steps I've taken that day - 1617, as shown currently. It also displays the distance traveled, which is a full 1.13 kilometers. Additionally, it shows the calories burned and my missed calls and messages. However, there's one feature that sets my expectations high - the display is both informative and customizable. The band itself is very comfortable to wear and light, making it perfect for daily use.

But the biggest letdown of this fitness tracker is its tracking accuracy. It fails miserably in tracking the number of steps I've taken. In fact, it often counts almost 2-3 times the actual steps I've taken. To give you an idea, I wore both my Fitbit and F phone at the same time to test its tracking capabilities. The results were surprising - the Fitbit tracker was off by a significant margin.

To use this fitness tracker effectively, you have to download two different apps: You Fit Up and HealthyFind Me. Once connected, it shows whether it's on or not, along with the battery life - currently at 50% after seven days of usage. The device also offers additional features like notification alerts, which I had previously disabled but still experienced vibrations when enabled.

However, the most disappointing aspect of this fitness tracker is its failure to accurately track steps. It sends data that's often way off from the actual number of steps taken. For instance, on one particular day, the Fitbit tracker showed me taking 7,000+ steps, whereas my F phone accurately counted only 3,400+ steps. This mistake was consistent even after multiple attempts to use both devices.

The fitness tracker does offer some useful features like battery life estimates - it can last for around 8-9 days with casual usage, but may need to be charged within 4-5 days if used extensively. Additionally, it can be used as a camera remote and offers other settings, such as an alert feature that vibrates when the device detects inactivity after 30 minutes.

One feature that's enabled by default is the "Let Me Move" alert, which vibrates if you've been stationary for 30 minutes. However, I had to disable this setting due to its annoying behavior, even though it was supposed to be disabled.

Overall, while this fitness tracker has some useful features and a sleek design, its failure to accurately track steps is a major drawback. If you're serious about tracking your daily step count, there are better options available - like the Meat band, which offers more accurate tracking and longer battery life.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and in this video we'll be doing the review for this you fit fitness pant which is a budget oriented factor and just last week I did the unboxing and I'll be comparing it with the me band because the pricing of Tisa products is very similar both sell for nine hundred ninety-nine rupees I also am used to other fitness trackers like Fitbit but I won't compare it with Fitbit because Fitbit is a lot more expensive the basic variant of the Fitbit also cost almost five times the price of this you fed so what does a fitness tracker need to do I'll make this review very quick a fitness tracker should track your steps properly and that helps you in determining how much you're walking and if you're walking less you should increase that and that's the main thing about the fitness tracker and I hate to say that the you foot miserably fails in that aspect yes it has this screen as you can see if you just wrap it you can rotate between the screen I like that thing but again these are giving you things if the basic thing that is required it's not being done properly then what's the use of this thing but anyways let me give you an idea what happens when you play by default this won't be displayed anything nothing would be displayed you just wear this on your wrist like this and you just move around this will just fade away after a couple of seconds like this but if you stop it once first it shows you the time so it can act like a clock that's good it shows the time correctly and right now it's connected to my phone that's why I chose the Bluetooth connection but it's not required that you keep your Bluetooth connection on your phone active all the time so first it shows the time second time if you click it actually shows you number of steps that you've walked that day as you can see right now it's 1617 and next this shows you the distance that you have bought it says 1.13 kilometers and this is the calories burn and this is the status for your missed calls and the messages email messages and back to the time so this is the display I like the fact that you have to display and even the band is very comfortable to wear and it's very light so when you are wearing it good thing is you won't feel it and that way it's nice and to charge this just comes out they have supplied this cradle you just put this and like this and plug it in a USB port and it will be charging about 50 odd minutes so that is nice but again as I told you the biggest thing about this tractor is it fails miserably in the tracking area it will count almost 2x - 3 x times the steps that you have taken and let me actually show you this is the me Mac both these devices were sent to my phone and this is my F phone and first let me show you the tracking by you frighten you and the thing is that let me go back you have to install two different apps this you fit up and also the healthy find me app so you just part of this you and by default it shows you if it's connected or not you just tap it a couple of times this is not connected you connect and it also shows you the battery that's about 50% and it's been seven days since I've been using it I didn't use it heavily for first three days I used it it was always on my back but you also have other functionality like what you say whenever you get a notification it shows over here except I did not enable that but then also the battery life is around 50% so I would say but casual use it can last for about 8 9 days but if it's always connected you might have to charge it within 4 or 5 days and you have other settings also you can use it as a camera remote and you can launch and do that fancy stuff but I mean let's talk about the important things one thing is enabled by default is that let's move alert and I like that fact for example if you are just reading this band and if you did not move for 30 minutes it will vibrate that's good okay that tells you that come on move but the problem is that I have disabled that then also it vibrates so it's a bug I would say but I am disabled the setting lines are doing that ok let's move to the important things that your step tracking and for that you have to go to this healthy finding and here to check this you fit and is in sync it's already sent as you can see it's started syncing up and has already seen and for example I will show you the data of court in Oakhurst that day I was wearing both these pants and this Euphrat is showing me that I have worked seven thousand four hundred twenty five steps now if you just go down it also gives you the basic graph and what time you were walking and that so that's nice but let me actually show you the me buying statistics and for ten dollars as you can see I actually watched just three thousand four hundred thirty-nine steps so as you can see it is tracking three more steps that you have actually bought with this you feed man and that's the same case with almost a everyday I've used it it was actually tracking a lot for example let's come back to today I mean war both these today and for some time and as you can see it says that I've worked 1661 steps let's go back to this meal bank and let's just go back to today and as you can see I have got just the thousand sixty five so this you fit band in terms of the number of steps that you have what is way off sometimes it calculates almost 1.5 X sometimes even I notice that it calculates 3x times the steps that you have taken so it miserably fails in the number of steps that you have taken yes it can work like him what do you say watch but if you are serious about tracking number of steps that you have taken that I simply cannot recommend this you fit and I'm surprised that you did very poor quality testing because it's just not me I know a lot of other people also who are facing similar problems with this you Fateh tracking the steps very inaccurately so simply speaking I just cannot recommend this you fit fitness band and I would definitely say the meat band does track the steps they more accurately and also does offer a lot battery life I hope this video was helpful
