Kind: captions
Language: english
This is something about this Consumer Report thing that just makes the love just jump oh yeah hey how you doing
this is Aaron mccarville Junior normally on a day like today I'm home writing down recipes thinking about what's going to go on for dinner but I'm actually here chilling at Consumer Reports today and I'm going to be able to go behind the scenes check out what goes on in the labs and also maybe be one of those sensory panelists so this is the day that I've been waiting for and I cannot wait to see what goes on at Consumer Reports
welcome to Consumer Reports here's your lab coat well thank you official lab coat I'm ready
here are our salt references that you can use to evaluate the saltiness of your food and you're going to taste the two and then you're gonna taste the five and you're gonna see if the food is more or less salty than either of them and then we typically would have a 10 salty which would be very salt we would call that very salty wow gotcha big difference too I like the difference but I bet you in a restaurant some people would say that this is salty it's all about or what people are used to so this is the big task and we made one of your recipes horseradish deviled eggs and we used two different kinds of mayonnaise in it we used a store brand and we used a big iconic brand
and the reason we do that kind of thing and we do that regularly is to help people shop better and get value beautiful so we're going to have you go into the booth and actually do a little taste test wow see what you think I can't wait
here's an example I built that job I really do okay the greatest part was the differences you can definitely tastes the first egg a lot more foiler taste I felt like a mayonnaise the second one was a little bit lighter a little less pungent as far as the mayonnaise really you know in my mouth and I thought that they were both tasty but I felt the difference in the first time so so you can taste a little bit of a difference in the Pro flavor profile
but in terms of quality would you say that they were similar they were similar yes definitely similar you saw I tasted a slight difference but nothing major nothing to say I won't buy this one over that one so I like both good recipe thank you thank you I'm taking you home with me Mama we got a new addition to the family
