companies either for software development roles or for a data science roles and it was a big hit all of the people who attended loved it and some of the people who could not attend it have asked us to conduct similar events again in their cities with it within the whole states of andhra pradesh and telangana so we thought instead of conducting multiple sessions in various towns and cities because there are tons of great towns and cities with lot of potential engineers and scientists we thought let's conduct an online event for all folks who want to be software engineers or data scientists at the best of companies from the states of ap and telangana this online meetup is going to happen on the 19th of august now in this meetup just like in our offline event we will discuss about various careers for software engineers as well as various career options you have in data science and machine learning again we'll go through the whole spectrum of options most importantly we'll focus on what are the skills needed if you want to get into the best of product based and aspirational companies like fact now in this meetup we'll also share some of the journeys of our alumni who will join and discuss their learning journeys as part of scalar ecosystem now this session will be led by satya sai who is one of my colleagues and he has tons of experience helping folks become software engineers at the best of companies so satisai has trained thousands of learners at scalar for software engineering roles and of course i'm also one of the instructors and i'll be participating in this for the data science and machine learning related stuff again we also have two very interesting alumni of ours we have krishna chaitanya who is currently an sd3 at walmart and he comes from a non-cs non-mathematical background we will learn from his journey on how we how he is killed or how he got upskilled and how we went to become went on to become a sd3 at walmart similarly we have a uzair said who is now a software engineer at a very interesting logistics company in the middle east called dp world and he had a 500 percent hike in his compensation as he moved to this product based company so we will learn from their journeys what worked for them what did not work for them as they tried to become software engineers at product based companies in their own in their own experiences
