**The Great Recovery Truck Build-Off**

We had high hopes for our new recovery truck, but it seemed like something was amiss from the very start. We were told that the other trucks weren't available, and we decided to take this one instead. The problem was, we didn't even know if it was up to the task. "I don't know if dig dug's up to the task," I said to Tom, my friend who had promised to build the truck up for us. We decided to find out by taking it on a test run.

As we made our way onto the trail, we encountered thick snow and icy conditions. I have to admit, I was nervous about what we might encounter. But Tom was undaunted, and he quickly got to work locking in the hubs and putting the truck into four low gear. "You've got to get on the trail," he said with a grin. We made our way slowly but surely, taking care not to hit anything too hard.

As we reached the first obstacle, Tom expertly guided the truck forward, using his years of experience to navigate the tricky terrain. The truck responded perfectly, pulling smoothly into position without any problems. I have to admit, I was impressed. But just as we were getting into a rhythm, disaster struck. One of the wheels started to spin, and we had to pull over quickly to avoid a major accident.

Tom calmly instructed me on how to get the truck back under control, explaining that it was all about patience and finesse. "You've got to learn to relax," he said with a smile. I wasn't sure if I could do that, but I tried my best to follow his advice. With Tom's guidance, we were able to slowly make our way forward once again.

As we continued on the trail, we encountered more and more obstacles. But with each one, Tom proved himself to be a master of recovery truck driving. He effortlessly swung the camera into position, capturing every moment of the adventure. And I have to admit, I was starting to get a little nervous. "Take two," he said, grinning at me. We repeated the exercise, and this time, it went even smoother.

As we made our way back down the trail, Tom pulled over and declared victory. The truck had performed flawlessly, and we were all impressed. But just as we were about to leave, disaster struck again. "I almost went down only halfway," I said, feeling a little silly. Tom chuckled and replied, "That's okay, that was just part of the fun."

As we wrapped up the test drive, Tom explained that he had learned how to drive by watching videos online. He wasn't even 40 years old when he got his first car! I have to admit, I was a little jealous. But as we said our goodbyes and headed off into the sunset, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the adventure we had just shared.

As we drove away from the trailhead, Tom pulled over and asked if we wanted to stop by the yard on the way home. We agreed, and a few minutes later, he was pulling up with a box of shirts in tow. "We forgot the box of shirts," he said with a grin. I laughed and replied, "That's actually pretty normal for us." Tom smiled and handed me a shirt with our company logo on it. "Here you go," he said. "Thanks for coming out to test drive our new recovery truck. We really appreciate your feedback."

As we left the yard and headed back home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. We had learned so much about each other and ourselves during this adventure. And who knows? Maybe one day we'll take on an even bigger challenge together.

app for directions but I don't really know my way around like Beaver or Cedar City really and so I thought where I was was like the beaver little town and it wasn't and so it started taking me down a dirt road it was just it was dry all the way there up until I tried to stop the car and it just slid into mud and almost into like a river Creek type of thing well we'll go see you got your keys I do okay that same important part sometimes we forget the keys y we'll go get them 1 2 1 2 3 all right we just turned off the pavement onto dirt road here we got about 2 and 1 half miles of this before we get to the vehicle according to our GPS GPS has got someone into trouble on this road recently so I don't know how well we can trust that we're going to go as far as blue steel can take us then we're going to unload the more a and we're going to pack in there like sardines go get this car this is as far as we're going to go the road doesn't look bad but we're sliding all over the place all right we're crammed in here Lizzie's going to be driving today because I'm too lazy to drive oh okay I'm in the driver's seat of the morar and we are going down the road how are you guys doing back there all right good might take a nap yeah this road looks dry but it's wet the ugly mud fenders work Mom and Lizzy did a job yesterday so they bolted them on I'm glad they're still on so was this orange sign there when you drove past no let's see what this sign has to say right it says water over roadway yeah this is a mud puddle yeah it was not this bad last time May that L worse well it looks like we're getting our boots muddy today so let's see how bad it is in front Okay well that guy drove right down here to check on it no one's been past you yeah you got to get over here almost in okay stop didn't I didn't learn that today I just reinforced it oh there's some plastic stuff underneath that there's going to be got ripped out a little bit but it drives fine yeah so there's a there's plastic panels that go underneath the engine and transmission they fuel mileage and wind noise they put go together with pop rivets and zip ties so you're going to want to get this washed off yeah on and then does canyoning guiding repelling there's a deer there's some deer squirrel helping people overcome their fears of height and I'm afraid of heights and he's afraid of heights see I am scared to be on camera so but yeah being on camera was a huge fear took me about a year I have a whole bunch of footage of me filming myself trying to get used to it wow that never made it because it like I had nervous ticks really bad but anyway it's beautiful beautiful evening and I was just thinking did we explain very good why we're taking dick dug not really we just said that the other ones weren't
