I woke up to find that my car had been damaged while I was working on it. My radiator snapped the top nipple off, so I'm going to have to get a new radiator. That sucks, but hopefully everything else is good. I put ATF in it, and it's probably going to need a little more later on once it all cycles through. But I'm going to try to take it on a quick test drive around the block and hopefully everything is good.
As I was working on my car, I took some time to drive it out of the garage and back into the driveway. It's been a long day, you get it. Hi we're good thank you goes into reverse alright made it outside going to drive seems to work so I'm just going to try to take it around the block can't go too far because like I said the radiator is cracked so there's no coolant in it so long she doesn't get hot will be alright.
Oh this thing chips nice out second right there third oh my god it's so good yes the van is back I've missed this thing oh yeah I have a lot of lights on the ABS lights on TCS I think that's like traction control and my ebrake lights on for some reason even though the ebrake isn't on so that's new but it's always had the ABS light on and also that other one. But the brake light is new.
Okay I think that's traction control from na+ see that second gear all butter this works great well the man seems to be running good I just got to clean up my mess and I'm going to attempt to make it home Hayden's coming over here right now he's probably gonna bring like Charlie or Killian and there one of them is going to drive my Civic home and I'm just going to try to make it back without it overheating we don't live too far at all so if I have to I'll just shut it off and I'll just fix the radiator like on Monday or whenever I don't want to keep it here.
But yeah van runs again also Thank You Jaime for helping me out that subframe and the exhaust I could have done that myself they're heavy but got it all back together so the daily is back and now I can finally give my parents their car back hard enough yeah it's uh blue just an idiot do Carter know if I locked what so what'd you do it can't be that hittin rev limiter you know first gear rev limiter dump the points around the corner idiot what do you need if I walk to your model you know a drill and boy Oh things just man they're so rusted anyway though he's doing yeah we're gonna have to him really well idiot too much torque.
Well I made it back in the van transmission seems to be working great it just overheated a couple times so I had to pull over and let it cool off and I was just like coasting most of the way but other than that fans doing great I'll get a new radiator soon and I would just recommend it any of you guys have one of these and your transmission goes out just to never do it and drive it off a cliff honestly that was the biggest pain in my ass that took so much more work than I thought it was going to be but it's done and I'm kind of glad I did it now have the van back and I just got back.
And this came in the mail earlier today the competition clutch for the mr2 this was sent to me by Joe thank you and yes you can get a shout out I read your note I'll put it right here in the video I want to see that make some power what we're going to try to do got a stage for competition clutch it's used obviously with a flywheel I'm going to try to get this thing installed within the next few days so people look out for that that mark you should be making a lot more power here pretty soon I can't wait.
So nothing too exciting this bandage has been taking up all my time in the last couple days but finally got it done except for the radiator which I broke by accident which sucks but other than that we got the van done so now I can focus on the mr2 since we just got that clutch in because 280 horsepower is definitely not enough we need to crank this thing up and make some real power I want to break at least 400 for sure that's what I plan on doing so maybe five we'll see what it does.

just got to get it to PFI Brent has an extra transmission that he said I can throw on this thing so I can get this van back because I've been borrowing my parents Civic and this thing has been sitting at their house for like a month now so I need to get on it get it fixed and get my van back so that's what we are going to be doing today at least that's what I'm going to be today yeah gonna be me and it's not going to be very fun all right let's get this over with okay so it already wins and limb mode that means it's stuck in third gear right now which is good that's what I wanted so we will be able to make it to PFI no problem the only thing I was worried about is that it wouldn't go into lit mode because what it was doing every time it would try to shift into a gear it would just like stop the whole van like really hard and then like eventually clunking the gear after it comes down to like 20 miles an hour no matter how fast you're going it was almost undriveable so I'm really glad I win the limo almost instantly I didn't have to deal with any hard gear shifts so we should be able to make it just fine yes did that it's at and then put a pry bar like in here somewhere and I pulled out you and so we have to pull like this full of subframe off right here and it's this big drop so we have to pull the exhaust off too but word of pain it'd be two bolts right here you see the shift cable yeah actually to take one of these off before on a automatic civic so I know how that one works yep no problem bakit pry bar Oh who sings about the walk away we just got the subframe off the pain in the ass so now we just got this thing holding the transmission up and we got to lower it down and get these axles out on both the training from the motor it's still a lot of work so we've already been on it for a good couple hours I just gotta keep moving forward not sure if I'm going to get it done today or not but I want to have it done by this weekend so we'll see good sweet that took forever holy nice it's out though so it's like 8 o'clock right now we've been at this thing for like 4 hours but we got the new transmission bolted up and I just have it raised up in the air right now and I was just making sure all the torque converter bolts line up still so I got one in there right now seems to be good and now it's just the process of putting everything back together so I still just gotta put all the other training bulletins there's one right here but I just got to put all the other ones in all the way around get the wiring harness on do the cooler line starter and axles and put the subframe back up in there and she'll be good to go and then also put the exhaust on we had to take that off to drop the subframe but yeah made a lot of progress I think we might be getting out of here pretty soon so I might stop where I'm out for now and finish this thing up in the morning tomorrow but hopefully this transmission works good Brenda's had it laying outside it's been out there for a long time so hopefully everything's good with it you said it should be a good transmission and I'll be really nice if it is then I'll have my van back and I'll finally be able to
