**Apple AirPods Gen 2 and Pro Review**
We've got a pair of Apple AirPods to show you today, the Gen 2 and Pro versions. Let's take a closer look at what makes these earbuds special.
**Case Design**
First up, let's talk about the case design. We're looking at the same design on both models, with a few key differences. The Gen 1 AirPods have a visible button on the back of the case, whereas the Gen 2 and Pro versions don't. That's about it for the design difference between the two models.
**Earbuds Design**
Now, let's take a look at the earbuds themselves. We're comparing the Gen 2 AirPods to the original Gen 1 AirPods, as well as the new Pro version. The only notable difference is the grill on the Pro model, which doesn't have one on the Gen 2. Other than that, the ear tips and charging strips are similar.
**Audio Quality and ANC**
The real difference between the two models lies in audio quality and noise cancellation. The Gen 2 AirPods come with improved audio quality and advanced noise cancellation features like Transparency mode. The Pro model also offers Transparency mode, but with more precise sound control. We also have personalized spatial audio on both models.
**Connectivity**
Now let's move on to connectivity. On the Gen 1 AirPods, we can pair them up by holding the button on the back of the case and pressing connect. The app will guide us through the pairing process. For the Pro model, it's similar, but with a slightly different interface.
**Features**
On both models, we have access to features like ear tip fit tests and noise control adjustments. However, the Pro model offers personalized spatial audio, which scans your ears and adjusts sound accordingly.
**Personal Experience**
From our personal experience, we can say that the Gen 2 AirPods are an upgrade from the original Gen 1 models. They offer better performance, but at a higher price point. We found some issues with mic quality on the Pro model, but overall, they're solid earbuds.
**Battery Drain Test**
We'll be testing the battery drain of these earbuds in our next video, so stay tuned for that.
**Giveaways and Subscriptions**

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what's up YouTube and welcome back to the custom Adventures so today we'll be comparing the airpods pro to the airpods pro gen 2. all right so right off the bat they both look really similar and I actually want to know if you guys can tell the difference so on the front we have the picture of the air the airpods on the sides we got their logos on the top this says airpods Pro this says airpods Pro Wireless charging case bondman just has those details on the back we have basically the exact same uh image just we have some specs on this side and we don't on this side also we have these little tabs here now opening up the case we get the same design by Apple in California then we get the same airpods now you're actually going to start to figure out that these are the new ones and you can start to tell by the differences in the case we got going on there so it's opening up this wrap real fast and just surface level like look at the differences here it actually like changed up the case in a semi Major Way inside looks the exact same but you know you can't ask for everything and then on the inside here we got the extra ear tips these ones have extra small so we have one more than these ones do which is just large and small and then of course the lightning charging cable now for the price of the two the airpods Pro 2 go for around 250 US Dollars which is the launch price of the original airpods Pro so they're keeping it pretty consistent there while the original airpods now range anywhere from 130 US dollars to two hundred dollars because Apple has discontinued them now so it's just all the ones that are left in stock sold by other sellers such as Walmart or Amazon now for the audio quality all right now let's talk about some audio quality we have the two airpods here the first the airpods Gen one have been you know they've been really good to me over the years they've been solid pair they've been consistent they've had they've always had good audio quality they've had they've had good transparency good noise cancellation but the only place that they're really lacking was the base the base sucks what doesn't necessarily suck but it's it could definitely be improved upon and apple decided to fix that with the airpods pro gen 2. these things have really really improved bass like the low mid to low tones have improved drastically the sound is a lot more Crisp And it it's just overall better you know on top of that the noise cancellation refreshes 240 times faster than the originals which is I mean it hasn't made a ton of a difference in my opinion like I'm not sure exactly that all their claims that they made in the press release were substantiated like that it cancels double the amount of noise as the originals but it definitely it's better it's just so much more fun to listen to It's like you genuinely jamming out like these you know it's good for vibing you know just just chilling got your pods in just doing whatever working doing homework stuff like that but these these you could legit put in and just start going hams now for the mic quality all right so in my ears right now are the airpods pro and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three hopefully you can hear my voice loud and clear we're just gonna tap the side of the earbud to make sure it's coming from there all right let's begin the stadium crowd effect noise Ruckus and uh yeah what you're doing airpods Pro all right Super Mario's right now are the airpods pro Gen 2 and this is the mic well you can expect from them testing testing one two three hopefully you can hear my voice loud and clear Stadium traffic noise in three two one foreign now for the battery life the airpods Pro 2 gets six hours of audio playback with an additional 30 hours with the case while the original airpods get four and a half hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case so definitely a decent upgrade on the battery there as we've seen our battery drain test the results are actually a little higher for the airpods so we'll have to test those for the new ones as well hopefully we'll get even better results than last time now for the features of the two they both have find my features but only the second generation can locate the case they both have hey Siri support they both have wireless charging but the second generation has magnets on the bottom to keep it firmly on a wireless charger now for the design of the case for both the Gen 1 and gen 2s we have this led right here to indicate pairing and battery life on the bottom we have the lightning charging port now for the twos we have their little speakers which you can play the find my for on the side we have this hook for a lanyard well the originals don't have that the funny part is Apple doesn't actually give you a lanyard or anything to connect it with they just put it there so you can it's like man couldn't fit that one into the budget shoot on the back you know we just got the same stuff I'm button for pairing little hands and some details on this side there's nothing and yeah that's it for the design of the case now for the design of the earbuds now for the design of the earbuds here we have the Gen twos here and the Gen ones right here the only thing that's really a big difference is this little grill right here that the Gen ones don't have all the other stuff is pretty much the same the ear tip touch pads you know and the two charging strips as well as the letter indicators but other than that it's pretty much all the same the real difference is with these come with the audio quality and the ANC features now for the connectivity all right so starting off we're going to begin with the airpods Gen 2 opening up the case hold the button on the back we can see we got the little white light blink in there press connect hold the button on the back and just like that we're paired all right now let's check out the features we got here on the app let's see if if it's really any different we can change between transparency and noise cancellation we can adjust the noise controls for left and right earbuds we can do ear ear tip fit test now the only really difference I see here is exact adaptive transparency which just like it tones down the major sounds um personalized spatial audio which is where you just hold it up to your face it scans your ear and then it kind of adjusts it to your own ear type it's it's not very effective but it helps a little and that's that's about all that's different all right now we have the airpods pro here somebody open up the case hold the button on the back wait for that to pull up there we go press connect and just like that we're paired as you can see it's much Slimmer similar to the twos it's transparency noise cancellation we can adjust the noise controls for both the earbuds ear tip fit tests automatic ear detection and we actually can do personalized special audio for this one as well so it's really just the Adaptive spatial audio that's unique to the twos now now from my personal opinion overall these are both solid pairs of earbuds the airpods pro Gen 2 obviously are better they're an upgrade from the original generation so I'd recommend going to check those out but you know the first generation they're on pretty good sale right now because Apple stops selling them so I kind of devalued them so I don't know the second one's definitely a lot better they help a lot more but with the first ones being such a great price it's it's I don't know it depends on what what you're looking for honestly the second Generations were better and everywhere except for one which was the mic quality where it did not perform with the crowd noise I don't know what happened there I'm gonna be honest I I kind of I actually took multiple attempts of that because I thought I had messed something up on my part but it was the same result from multiple attempts of that so I don't know exactly what happened because I expected those to do a lot better in that area but I know other than that they were pretty good they did pretty solid mostly across the board so yeah I'll be interested to see how well they do for the battery drain test and yeah that's about it all right thank you all so much for watching if you
