iOS 14 Leaks - iPhone SE 2 _ iPhone 9, over-ear AirPods, more!

The Apple TV Experience: A Mixed Bag of Excitement and Anticipation

As an Apple enthusiast, I must say that Apple's latest endeavors have left me feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation. On one hand, there are some rather underwhelming developments, such as the iPhone 8 Tasi, which screams "boring" to anyone who's familiar with the brand. But on the other hand, there are some truly exciting announcements that are sure to get Apple TV users like myself pumped up.

One of these exciting announcements is the new Siri remote for Apple TV. For those who may not be aware, the Siri remote has been a point of contention for many Apple TV users, with accidental presses and rewinding being a constant source of frustration. But according to details revealed in iOS 14, Apple is working on a brand new, more capable remote that promises to make navigating your Apple TV experience a breeze. With its improved design and features, this new Siri remote is sure to be a welcome addition to the Apple TV ecosystem.

But what really gets me excited is the possibility of replacingable batteries for AirTags. These tiny trackers have been making waves in rumors over the past year, and with iOS 14 revealing that they'll have replaceable batteries, I can see myself being more tempted to use them or at least try them out. The native iOS integration will surely make it easier to track specific items using the Find My app, and having replaceable batteries will make it even more convenient. Whether you're a heavy user or just someone who wants to try out AirTags for fun, this feature is sure to be a game-changer.

And then there's the Apple Watch Series 6, which is rumored to have a whole lot of exciting new features related to watchOS 7. One of these features is the ability to detect oxygen levels via the Apple Watch, which could potentially require brand-new hardware. My guess would be that it does, but we'll just have to wait and see. The ECG upgrade also sounds promising, with more accurate readings for heart rate between 100 and 120 beats per minute. Whether this will be strictly limited to new hardware or maybe found in a software update, I'm eager to find out.

But what really gets me pumped up is the possibility of Apple releasing new Apple Watch hardware. As someone who upgrades their Apple Watch every year, I can attest that it's one of my most used tech products, and having a new model with exciting features would be a dream come true. Whether it's the rumored design changes or the promise of improved battery life, I'm sure to be upgrading regardless of how expansive the update is.

Lastly, there are some rumors about Apple releasing new earbuds, which have been causing quite a stir in the tech community. The PowerBeats 4 seems like an exciting development, with its sleeker design, more comfortable fit, and 15 hours of battery life. But what really gets me excited is the fact that it will charge via Lightning instead of microUSB, which is definitely a welcome change.

In conclusion, Apple's latest endeavors have left me feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation. Whether it's the new Siri remote, replaceable batteries for AirTags, or the Apple Watch Series 6, there are plenty of exciting developments that promise to make our tech experience more enjoyable. So, stay tuned for more updates and announcements from Apple, and let's see what the future holds for this beloved tech giant.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enall right so a lot to talk about right now in this video so just right first and foremost new air pots over the ear headphones have been unveiled in iOS 14 code there's a couple of glyphs a black cliff and a white glyph indicating that there may be two color choices for Apple's upcoming over-the-ear headphones that are in the air pod family so to speak so what can we expect from these well first and foremost just looking at the glyphs it looks like that the cups are fairly large so they're gonna be able to fit over your ears the cans and looks like they have up quite a bit of padding on them as well just looking at the cliffs obviously that doesn't paint the full picture but it gives us a good general ballpark idea as to what to expect we should also expect feature parity with the current generation air Potts Pro so that means things like when you take your your headphones off your ears music playback stops when you take when you put them back on music playback resumes obvious air pod stuff right but it also means that perhaps there will be support for transparency mode so you can hear ambient sound around you and also support for noise cancellation obviously having over the ear headphones makes it easier to cancel out noise because you know it's completely enclosing your ear so noise cancellation in theory should work even better on these over the ear ear pods whatever they may be called and as far as charging goes it's still up in the air as to whether they will wirelessly charge will there be a wireless charging case for the over the ear headphones will it charged via us PC will it charge via lightning and what will Apple actually call these things they can't call them ear pods Pro because that already exists it'll be interesting to see what they call it from a marketing perspective it also be interesting to see what the price point of these will be I'm guessing somewhere in the ballpark of 300 to 400 bucks just based off what current beats studio headphones sale for I think they sell for about 349 so I would expect the Apple branded headphones to be somewhere in that relative ballpark and of course there should also be the h1 chip or whatever Apple calls next generation chip that allows for a hands-free voice assistance support but that's just one of the leaks one of the many leaks that we've seen hardware-wise from iOS 14 so here are my thoughts on the over ear ear pods I'm sure that the sound quality will be superb I mean these are high-end Apple branded headphones and I'm sure they'll sound better than the air Potts Pro but the thing that I love about the air pods Pro is just how incredibly portable they are yet they still sound really good and I just have a hard time imagining that over ear headphones will be portable or as portable of course as the air pods Pro so for me that's the biggest thing it's like portability trumps everything else when it comes to headphones for me and the air pods pro sound good enough now that being said if you're listening in a studio environment or you prefer a comfort over everything else then I would imagine that the air pods over the ear style headphones will be the better choice for you but personally for me I'm gonna stick with the air Potts pro for sure I just love that portability according to iOS 14 code a new iPad pros in the works most obvious thing ever right this iPad pro will include that triple lens camera system so you'll have a wide-angle and ultra wide angle and a telephoto lens on the back of the new iPad pro the new iPad pro also includes a brand new time-of-flight 3d sensor which will lend itself to new AR applications and by the way Apple is developing a brand new AR app for iOS 14 for quite some time we've been hearing about this new iPad with its fancy triple camera array similar to that of the iPhone 11 pro the camera sells awesome but I mean it's an iPad so it's not gonna be the main focal point of the device for me personally I'm way more excited about the new enhanced cursor support and I'm way more excited about the new Smart keyboards with the trackpad integrated in the keyboard that we talked about on the previous video definitely that is the one feature that makes the new iPad pro most appealing to me now the next sort of obvious thing that we know is coming but has been confirmed in iOS 14 code is the iPhone 9 or the iPhone se 2 depending on how Apple goes about marketing it no surprise here the iPhone 9 will support touch ID biometric authentication so there is no face ID sensor to be found on this entry-level hardware Apple is hoping that this iPhone 9 release with its lower price point will push iPhone 6 users to upgrade in the very near future now of course there is some uncertainty given the current state of affairs in the world with the coronavirus but it's largely expected that the iPhone 9 could be released any day now and then in episode 2 of the least surprising thing ever the iPhone 9 or iPhone se to whatever Apple decides to call it I honestly can't say that I'm looking forward to that at all number one it's not going to feature that same iconic iPhone se you know iPhone 5s era style of design it's not gonna feature that same design the design is gonna be borrowed from the iPhone 8 which is which is fine but it's fine but it's not like a reason to love this device the design is just kind of like ok no granny it will feature updated internals so modernized internals inside that chassis from the iPhone 8 so that's cool right and most importantly it's gonna be affordable or relatively affordable at least so that checks off a box on Apple's like pricing strategy but it really isn't the most exciting thing in the world especially with that iPhone 8 Tasi it just screams boring but again that's not the the type of phone that an enthusiast would be looking at anyway so I mean it's not a big deal that it's not exciting but it it's not exciting and here's something very exciting for appletv users who hate of the current generation remote control as I do and I'm sure many of you do according to details film with in iOS 14 Apple is currently working on a brand new Siri remote for the Apple TV yes the Siri remote has been a bit point of contention for many Apple TV users no doubt you probably feel the same way hopefully it will appear alongside updated Apple TV hardware in the near future navigating with the Siri remote with accidental presses of the remote didn't accidentally rewinding and fast-forward it just it's frustrating so as an Apple TV user I'm excited about the possibility of so as an Apple TV user I'm excited about the possibility of Gideon Ava more capable remote not from a functionality standpoint but just from a usability ease of view standpoint and then there are the tile like trackers called air tags which have been talked about a lot in rumors over the last year iOS 14 reveals in bulk in iOS so if you buy a whole box of these trackers I don't know if they'll sell them in bulk but if you happen to have a lot of them you'll be able to set them all up simultaneously you know I feel like the barrier to entry on a product like this is so much less with pure iOS integration that only Apple will be able to pull off with the air attacks things ital are awesome but I can see myself being more tempted to use air tags or at least try them out because of the native iOS integration and new power beats for videos and specs have leaked these are of course the sequel to the power beats 3 the power beats 4 features a sleeker design that is more comfortable on the ear it will also feature 15 hours of battery life compared to just 12 hours on the power beats 3 the headphones will be offered in black white and red colors and it should also support the h1 chip which allows for our always-on assistant easy pairing with your iOS device etc and another first for the power beats 4 they will now charge via lightning instead of microUSB which is definitely a welcome change so power beats 4 of caen cool I mean good price point hundred 50 bucks 15 hours of battery life charging via lightning sounds awesome but it set that wire I just can't get past that after using the power beats Pro I just couldn't see myself ever going back to a pair of headphones with the wire but maybe that's just me yes indeed there will be another Apple watch go figure right Apple watch series 6 is in the works with a whole lot of interesting new features related to watch OS 7 it's
