What's Up Guys: My Name is Brandon and iOS 11.2.5 Beta 4
Hey guys, my name is Brandon, and less than a week after dropping iOS eleven point two point five beta three and just one day after dropping iOS eleven point two point two Apple returns today with iOS eleven point two point five beta for now there hasn't been many notable changes in this point released so far so let's go ahead and look and see if there's anything new at all here in beta 4. So first off you can see that these size of this update was two point twelve gigabytes here on my iPhone 8 plus but this is not going to be normal for you guys if you came from beta 3 this is only because I downgraded to iOS eleven point two point two to make a video on that so if you didn't see that I made a video on that yesterday so it was two point twelve gigs coming from there but if you are coming from beta three it's only gonna be around a hundred ish megabytes so it's gonna take a look at the build number here for beta four you could see that the build number there is fifteen d50 five for a so it is still a long build number with a lowercase letter at the very end which does usually indicate that we are still not on the GM build and then we still have at least one more beta to go before the final release so that is pretty interesting since we are on the fourth beta now so we're gonna have at least five betas of such a small point released like eleven point two point five so that's pretty interesting.
Now let’s talk about the changes here in beta 4. This update does likely include the very important Spectre patch that I talked about in my iOS 11 points to point video yesterday and if you didn't see that make sure to check the cards right now up in the top right of the screen so this update does likely include that very same patch and I will confirm that in the comment section the pin comment on this video once that do have clarification.
Going back to beta 3, it introduced a pretty annoying bug that I didn't actually cover in my video where system sounds all system sounds would be abnormally loud and I'm talking about the keyboard clicks so you can see that the keyboard clicks are no longer abnormally loud here in beta 4. Everything the ringer volume you know the keyboard clicks the lock sounds everything would be super loud but that has been fixed here in beta 4 it's back to normal now. There’s also a bug where system applications like your default apps like Safari and things like that would not be able to be reinstalled but that I have tested and it has been fixed here in beta 4. I'm sure there are also some other minor bug fixes here and beta 4 but those are the two main ones that I have noticed now as far as performance and battery life again it's pretty much gonna be the exact same as beta 3 this is mostly just a security enhancement it’s gonna added the Spector patch most likely again I will confirm that in the pen comment on this video and also address the issue with system sounds and also the system applications could not be reinstalled.
So should you update to iOS 11 point 2 point 5 beta 4? Absolutely, if you are on the beta program and if you are not looking to jailbreak your definitely gonna want that Specter patch on your device. You’re also going to want to definitely fix the system sound bug where everything is abnormally loud.
