The Thrill of Drag Racing: A Unpredictable Experience

As we approached the 50-mile mark, our excitement was palpable. The starting gun fired, and we were off. Our first impression was that the ride was smoother than expected, with only a slight jolt as we hit the half mile mark. However, it didn't take long for the competition to heat up, and soon we found ourselves neck and neck. I was even with the Mark II for the first 10 meters, but my lead was short-lived.

As I glanced over at Danny, I noticed a large hair right in front of him, reminiscent of a baby lamb. It seemed to give him an extra boost, allowing him to stay close behind me. Meanwhile, the Turbo SC Hybrid car pulled ahead, its instant torque from electric motors giving it a significant advantage. Despite this, our friend Yanni was still in contention, holding on for dear life as I stretched my lead.

The real challenge began when we transitioned into manual mode, switching gears by pressing buttons on the steering wheel rather than pulling the clutch pedal. It was a strange feeling, and I found myself changing gear automatically without even thinking about it. The car seemed to have a mind of its own, making this experience both fascinating and frustrating.

As we made our way back down the track, I couldn't help but wonder what would happen if we hit the brakes hard. Would they hold? Would they fail us at 100 miles an hour? The thought sent shivers down my spine, and I found myself watching anxiously as our fellow drivers took turns braking.

The Break Test: A Heart-Stopping Experience

As we approached the 100-mile mark, it became clear that something was amiss with our car's brakes. They seemed to be losing their grip, and I could feel my heart racing in my chest. It was a terrifying feeling, knowing that one wrong move could result in disaster.

With this in mind, I decided to pass on the brake test at 100 miles an hour, opting instead to watch from afar as our fellow drivers took their turn. The road seemed to stretch on forever, and I found myself mesmerized by the speed and power of these incredible machines.

The Porsche 911 Pop-Up Battle

After completing the break test, we were treated to a thrilling pop-up battle featuring some impressive Porsche 911s. The new hybrid model took center stage, showcasing its incredible performance capabilities. Meanwhile, Matt was nowhere to be seen, leaving us wondering what had happened to our friend.

As I watched the action unfold, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer power and speed on display. These cars were truly exceptional, and it was clear that they were built for one thing: to dominate the track.

gearbox weighs in at 2.3 tons and when it was new it was 80 000 pounds the Mark II generation Porsche Cayenne Turbo was introduced in 2010 that's actually a 2016 car it's the facelift I've been the Turbo S it has more power so it's 4.8 liter twin turbo puts out 570 horsepower and 800 newton meters of torque it's got an 8-speed automatic gearbox and it's so lighter than this older car for some reason comes in at 2.2 tons new that car was on 107 000 pounds then we come to the latest Generation The Mark 3 which was introduced in 2019. so that turbo SE hybrid has a 4 liter twin turbo V8 mated to an electric motor and combined it has 680 horsepower and 900 newton meters of torque it's also got an 8-speed automatic gearbox driving all four wheels because of all the Battery tech it's quite heavy it weighs in at 2.4 tons now before we race let's just say hello to the driver of the Mach 2 playing feeling nice and toasty in here because it's freezing outside yeah you're right the poor camera people who filmed this you know they work so hard and um yeah we're just in the comfort luxury and warmth look at these nice Porsches hashtag true story shout out to the camera guys so everyone then what exactly happened well the latest generation of kn1 surprise surprise it completed the standing quarter mile in 11.6 seconds the previous generation came finished in 12 seconds while the original took 13.7 seconds okay now we're gonna have a rolling West from 50 miles an hour the car is in Comfort setting and automatic mode for the gearbox everybody at level with me I'll count it in when we're at 50. first to the half mile wins level level level level three two one go oh it wasn't so bad on the kick down compared to the others but off they go and here comes the half mile so we're basically once the benefit of your electric motors like instant torque I'd run out it was no difference between the two cars however I've got a big question for you more important obviously have you got anything to report on like Wildlife running across the runway like baby lambs you know nothing really don't mean white elephants but I don't know anyway let's not talk about the elephant in the room the fact that this has got a tiptonic gearbox which is awful to use look with the weird paddles the knot paddles the switches on the steering wheel what that rubbish no when they adopted the actual pedals at the end of the day anyway enough of that let's go on the race We're not gonna have to use the switches we have another riding race from 50 miles an hour this time in manual mode sporty settings all that kind of stuff on an accountant and get a level everyone here we go three two one go oh this picks up good oh no they're gone and I'm changing gear by pressing a button or what's on the steering wheel rather than pulling a puddle yeah gear change now I can't believe they did it for so long I was actually pretty good from the get-go there it was on Boost it took off I thought I was in with a chance and then everyone came past and I was bitterly disappointed yeah my car changes gear by itself even I'm in manual mode so I know you don't care about what I tell you it's probably for the best otherwise you might have left the gear change you sometimes do that remember Mr gear change all right I was not changing gear yawn now we have a break test from 50 miles an hour this car's brakes have gone I don't know what's going on with them so you two have a brake test from 100 miles an hour and I will see you down there somewhere so go off you go 100 miles an hour
