Oppo Find 7a Unboxing

The Unboxing of the Oppo Find 7a: A First Look at the Device and its Accessories

As I opened the box containing my newly arrived Oppo Find 7a, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The device itself is sealed with an Oppo sticker on the bottom, which can be peeled off to access the contents inside. Upon removing the sticker, I was surprised to find another box wrapped in plastic, which seems nicer than I initially expected. Once the plastic was removed, I slid the top off of the matte box to reveal the device.

As I pulled out the Find 7a, I noticed that it's actually labeled as the "Find 7a" instead of the full "Find 7." This is because the Full-HD version of the Find 7 has not yet been released. I set the full Find 7 aside for now and focused on unboxing the device itself.

First, I lifted the top off to get to the accessories that come with it. Among the first things I saw were the in-ear headphones, which will be examined more closely later on. Next to them was a separate USB cable, which seems unusual since most devices come with their charging cables and chargers bundled together. However, it's worth noting that this Find 7a has a special rapid charger included that supports 4.5 amps of power, which is about four times faster than a standard charger. The rapid charger itself comes with a serious-looking cable already attached to it.

Moving on from the accessories, I found our battery, which is rated at 2800 milliamp hours. Alongside the battery were pamphlets – there's one titled "Quick Start Guide," which simply tells you where the power button is located, and another that seems like an "Important Information" guide, although its contents are currently unknown to me. There's also a separate pamphlet dedicated entirely to the charger itself. Next to these items, I found some unique earbuds with curved designs; they'll be reviewed more thoroughly in the future.

The earbud duplicates – which come in different sizes since not everyone's ears are perfectly symmetrical – are another interesting component of this package. A closer look at the bottom of the device reveals a standard USB port and our power button located at the top, while the headphone jack sits on one side, flanked by a volume rocker.

On the back of the device lies an 1080p 5.5-inch display boasting touch-on-glass technology that allows users to utilize gloves or wet fingers to interact with it. The screen is backed by a matte plastic finish, giving the device its distinctive appearance. Moving down, there's our five-megapixel front-facing camera and two pieces on the bottom – a menu button/home button and a back button – all of which are capacitive.

Moving further along, I found an interesting locking mechanism at the back, allowing users to unlock the device by simply pushing in a pin instead of having to remove their SIM card. Instead of getting access to these internal components directly from the SIM slot, one would have to use this clever trick. This brings me full circle – that's exactly what we've got here; our contents.

In conclusion, the Oppo Find 7a comes with several interesting features and accessories, some of which might pique your interest. Our review is still pending, along with some comparison videos between this device and other notable options like the HTC One M8 and Galaxy S5. The newer Oakland 7 and OnePlus One will also be compared in these reviews, so you won't have to miss anything important about these devices.
