Tired of Disabling Resample in Your Videos Machine?
We're here to help! When dealing with a lot of clips and projects, disabling resample on every single clip can be time-consuming. You didn't have to click every single clip and click disable resample often, but you probably still did anyway.
Fortunately, Eposh Box has a solution for you. To get started, simply go to eposhbox.com/smart-resample and follow the steps below:
Step 1: Download the Smart Resample Disabled Script
The first step is to download the smart resample disabled script from eposhbox.com/smart-resample. Save it to a convenient location such as your downloads folder.
Step 2: Locate the Script File in Your File Explorer
In your file explorer, go to see Program Files or program files 86 depending on which version of windows in Sony Vegas you're running. Open up Sony Vegas Pro for your proper folder and script menu.
Step 3: Copy the Script File into Your Script Menu Folder
Find that original script file you've downloaded and copy it into your script menu folder.
Step 4: Close Out and Reopen Sony Vegas
Close out of any instances of Sony Vegas and reopen it in a new session. This will allow you to apply the changes to your project settings.
Step 5: Disable Resample on All Clips
Now, every time you're editing a project, simply go to tools scripting and smart rerender disabled. This will disable resample on all clips that are currently on the timeline in your projects.
A Convenient Feature for Faster Editing
If you want to make sure you have resample disabled as quickly as possible, it's also easy to just click that one further step when you're about to save and render a project. You can also double-click your toolbar to customize it with scripts like smart rerender disabled.
To add the script to your toolbar, simply scroll down and find it in the list of available tools. You can customize this as much as you like, or move it to a more convenient location by clicking on the little gear icon next to it. To remove the script from your toolbar, click on the "X" next to it.
A Simple but Effective Solution
Overall, this feature makes it incredibly easy to have resample disabled for all clips in your project. While Sony Vegas still requires some additional steps to completely avoid disabling resample, this solution is a big step in the right direction.
