Collectible Classics Collection!

**A Collector's Paradise: A Glimpse into My Classic Book Collection**

As I sit amidst my vast collection of classic literature, I am filled with excitement and nostalgia. The shelves upon shelves of books are a testament to my love for timeless tales that have stood the test of time. From the iconic authors of Jane Austen to the Romantic Poets, my collection is a treasure trove of literary delights.

**Jane Austen: A Favorite**

One of my favorite sections in my collection is dedicated to the works of Jane Austen. I have all of her novels, including "Pride and Prejudice", which boasts a beautiful pink pattern on its cover. The intricate design is a delight to behold, and I must confess that I find it more appealing than some of the other editions of Austen's works. Next to "Pride and Prejudice" sits "Sense and Sensibility", with its stunning turquoise and gold polka dot pattern. I am equally fond of "Mansfield Park", which features a lovely floral design, and "Emma", whose cover is adorned with an intriguing, yet beautiful, pattern that defies description. Lastly, I have "Persuasion" and "Northanger Abbey", both of which are must-haves in any Austen enthusiast's collection.

**Romantic Poets: A Love for Blake**

My love for Romantic Poets is well-documented, and one of my most prized possessions is William Blake's "Songs of Innocence and Experience". I acquired this edition when I traveled to England, where I spent a magical time exploring the country's rich literary heritage. The book itself is a work of art, with its vibrant colors and beautiful illustrations. I find myself drawn to Blake's unique style and themes, which speak to my very soul.

**Shakespeare: A Love for the Bard**

Shakespeare is another author who holds a special place in my heart. My collection includes "A Midsummer Night's Dream", which I obtained during a visit to either the Globe Theatre or Shakespeare's former home. The edition itself is stunning, with its gold accents and classic design. I also have a bust of Shakespeare, which sits proudly on my shelf as a testament to his enduring legacy.

**Barnes & Noble Classics Editions: A Rainbow of Colors**

My collection also features a range of Barnes & Noble Classics editions, each one showcasing the author's unique style and design. From the vibrant colors of "A Little Princess" by Frances Hodgson Burnett to the beautiful illustrations in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, these editions are a delight to behold. I have multiple copies of several books, including "Pride and Prejudice", which is a testament to my love for Austen's works.

**The Puffin Book Collection: A Joyful Mix**

Another part of my collection is the Puffin Book Series, which features a range of beloved children's classics. I have multiple editions of these books, each one showcasing the author's unique style and design. From "Heidi" to "Little Women", these editions are a joy to behold, with their colorful covers and beautiful illustrations.

**The Challenges of Collecting Classics**

As a collector of classic literature, I am acutely aware of the challenges that come with this hobby. With so many authors to choose from and books to collect, it can be overwhelming at times. However, for me, the joy of collecting is in the pursuit itself – discovering new titles, finding rare editions, and sharing my passion with others.

**A Personal Note**

As I sit amidst my vast collection of classic literature, I am reminded that I am still a young adult, barely 21 years old. While I may not have read all of the classics on my list (yet!), I am committed to slowly but surely making my way through them. With the guidance of my school assignments and my own love for reading, I know that I will eventually become well-versed in the world of classic literature. And when I do, I look forward to sharing my passion with all of you.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everyone it's halia and today I'm going to be doing my Classics Collection so we are very clearly in a different area than we are normally in um this is actually what I face when I'm normally filming so I'm looking at this beauty but today I wanted to show you guys all of the special editions of Classics that I own so I do have more Classics than this but the other ones that I have are just like Mass market paperbacks like just not really nice editions these are all of the really nice editions of Classics that I have and they all live on this shelf right here um these two shelves this bottom one is just my school shelf and stuff um I haven't started classes yet which is why this shelf is kind of empty and I also this is where I put any books that I have to review and I don't have any right now so that's why that's happening but um right here these are all of my special editions of classic so without further Ado let's just delve in so this is a very awkward video for me to film The Lighting oh my God there's a dog walking outside sorry about that I just get very excited when I see a dog but this video is so awkward for me to film cuz one I can't see myself like I can't see the viewfinder and two when I can see myself I know it's the most unflattering lighting ever so sorry about that um and three I am like on my bed with my leg on my desk like holding on to the wall because I'm it's really exhausting to be standing like this I actually have to switch leg right now or else I'm going to all right there we go um but I was filming this and I had gotten to this one and then these all fell this is propped up by a candle so that almost fell so basically we almost had a big situation so we are going to try and do this and not kill anyone this time so I'm going to use a wand to point because that is very easy and it's a chance for me to use my wand so this is uh Luna's wand and I have hermion up there as well but I'm using Luna's cuz I don't know um so over here we have Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Louis Carroll this is the puffing Classics Edition and I really really love puffing Classics puffing and penguin make some of my favorite Classics I just love what they do with them and this one I got when I went to England last year I'm absolutely obsessed with it I love the cover I love under the dust jacket I just think it's so beautiful so then I had to get through the glass which is right here um that's also the puff and Classics Edition but this one isn't a hard cover it doesn't come in hard cover unfortunately or else I would have gotten that one but I do still love it I love the yellow and I love the illustrations on it then next to that I have Peter Pan by JM Berry and this is once again a puffing Classics Edition and I love the cover I love the colors on it just something about the moon in the font just looks so lovely and it just really I think captures Peter Pan and that kind of iconic image image of um Peter and Wendy and her brothers that I forget their names uh flying through the London SK over the London Sky line so I really like that one then next to that we have The Wizard of Oz by L frank bomb and this one is the puff and chalk Edition and I do really like this one I honestly have no idea why I like it so much I do actually really like the puff and chalk editions and I want more of them like they have a really nice Alice one they have a really nice Pippy long stalking one but I don't really want the pippy long stalking one because I don't like Pippy long stalking like I grew up watching that show and I hated it but anyways next to that I have Harry Potter in the philosopher stone by JK Rowling and um that's kind of more of a like modern children's classic if you will and this one I got um when I was in England and you can see cuz it has the emblem right here um I got it at the Warner Brothers Studio tour in England so that was tons of fun then next to that I have um Jane era by Charlotte Bronte this is a penguin's Delux Edition classic and I got this one when I went to Shakespeare and Company um last year when I went to Paris and I'm currently reading it it has a bookmark in it um I'll probably be done it by the time this video goes up at least I hope but yeah I really love penguin Classics Deluxe editions and this one is no exception I love the cover next to that I have two James Joyce books so I have a portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and then I have Dubliners these are both once again penguin Deluxe Classics editions these ones are just so well done like I love the illustrations portrait of a artist of the Artist as a Young Man that one is just so colorful and I think really captures what the story is about I I haven't read it yet I'm just assuming it does but the Dublin ARS has kind of this like comic esque um idea to it which I really enjoy and that's similar to um One Flew Over the cuckoo nest by K Ken key which has a comic kind of feel that's once again a penguin uh Deluxe Classics Edition and I haven't read Cuckoo's Nest yet yet but I've started it like three times and I just haven't gotten into it but I hope I'll be able to get really into it soon um and the one that I skipped over is once again The Wizard of Oz by El Frank bomb this is the Puffin or sorry the penguin threads Edition and it's all woven and it's absolutely amazing like it's obviously not actually woven onto the book but it's like someone wo it and then they printed it which is absolutely so cool and you can even see on the inside flaps like what it looked like at the back I really like that one I think it's super colorful and I kind of prefer it to the puff and chalk Edition but yeah then over here I have a bunch of Jane Austin so I have all of Jane Austin's books and these are the Vintage Classics editions so I have Pride and Prejudice which has the nice pink pattern on it uh then I have this uh Sense and Sensibility and this one is uh what What's that color turquoise and gold polka dot I don't know why that took me so long then Mansfield Park which has the flowers on it Emma which has I don't even know what you'd call that pattern but it's pretty a persuasion and then I have North anger Abbey so I've only read Sense and Sensibility and nor anger Abby but I am going to read Prim Prejudice really soon this one should be underneath this one cuz they're in chronological order of when she wrote them but I just have it on top cuz I mentioned in a video recently then over here um behind this little Shakespeare insults book I have blak's uh William blak's Songs of Innocence and experience I got that when I went to England as well I'm absolutely obsessed with Blake I really like Romantic Poets and I I think he's a great one I think he's one of my favorites if not my favorite and then I have a mid A Midsummer Nights Dream by William Shakespeare which I got when I went to it was either the globe or to um Shakespeare's house I forget which one but I got it at one or the other all right now coming down to the next shelf over here I have the complete works of William Shakespeare this is the Barnes & Noble class Classics Edition you can't see it very well because my collection of keychains is kind of covering it but it's really pretty super super shiny gold awesome then I have a bust of Shakespeare as well that I got at the globe when I went last year then here I have a bunch of Barns & Noble Classics editions so I Have A Little Princess by Francis hod and Bernette this is one of the new editions same with the secret garden by Francis Hodson brunette as well this is one of the new Barnes & Noble editions and then these three right here are the old Barnes & Noble editions that I don't even think they make anymore which sucks cuz I wanted more but so I have an of Green Gables by LM monum which I love cuz it's green and the cover is really nice and then Black Beauty by Anna suell which is blue and black and nice and stuff and then I have Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and through the looking glass by Louis Caroll which is all pink and purple which I really really like then next to that I have weathering Heights by Emily Bronte which is in this kind of weird feeling um Barnes & Noble Classics Edition but I do really like it and then over here I have all of my Puffin um In Bloom Editions so I have um A Little Princess by Francis Hodson brunette once again I have two copies of that one then I have Heidi by yanas Fury then little woman by Louisa May Alcott which is huge and then an of Green Gables by Ellen Montgomery yes I have multiple copies of a lot of these as well as Alice's aventures in Wonderland by Louis Carroll this one has illustrations all redone by I forget the illustrator um but they are really gorgeous and I absolutely love them and and yeah so those are all of my special editions of classic I haven't read all of these but I'm slowly but surely making my way through them I know especially on my um top 10 books to read in your lifetime you guys always get mad at me because I haven't read like many Austin or Hemingway or anything like that I do own those by the way they are like Hemingway I have but um it's in like a not so nice addition but um I'm going to stop waving this around but I am only 20 and I have so many Classics to read for school so that's most of when I read my Classics um and I'm only reading what I'm assigned right now cuz it's just really tiresome sometimes to read them but I do plan to read more Classics just keep in mind I'm only 20 turning 21 in November but I'm making my way slowly but surely so yeah I hope you guys enjoyed let me know what your Classics Collection is like if you have multiple copies of the same book uh cuz I know I do I have a problem with that but yeah I hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you guys in the next video bye\n"
