Little Things That We Want to Put in this Car
As we embark on this exciting project, there are several little things that we want to put in this car to make it truly special and unique. These additions will not only enhance the overall look of the vehicle but also provide us with a wide range of possibilities for customization and creativity.
We're planning on adding some amazing features to this car, including some parts that are already on order. With these additions, we'll be able to push the limits of what's possible and create something truly one-of-a-kind. We want to make sure that every aspect of this vehicle is tailored to our specific needs and preferences, so we can bring our vision to life.
This car is not going to be a drift car, nor will it compete in Formula Drift events. While these are exciting disciplines, our focus is on creating an entirely new experience that showcases the capabilities of the F12 in ways that have never been seen before. We're thinking big, and we want this car to be truly unforgettable.
Our vision for this project involves creating a car that's not only visually stunning but also capable of performing incredible stunts and maneuvers. We'll be working closely with Damon, who has already proven himself to be an exceptional driver, to ensure that he's properly trained and equipped to handle the demands of this vehicle. With his skill and our expertise, we're confident that we can create something truly remarkable.
One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the potential for innovation. We're not just building a car; we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of motorsports. There have been no examples of an F12 Jim con car or a Ferrari Jim con car, and even Lamborghini rally cars are a rare breed. This is a chance to make history and leave our mark on the world.
We've already acquired another car that needs a rebuild, which we're eager to take a closer look at. We'll be checking it out outside the park to see what's been going on with this vehicle. Who was involved in the multiple crashes? What happened to cause such damage?
As we explore this car, we notice that the boot lid is the only part that's been damaged. The rest of the vehicle looks pristine, with not a single scratch or blemish anywhere else. It's as if the boot lid has become a target for some kind of mischief.

In any case, we're glad that other than the boot lid, the rest of the vehicle is in good condition. The interior looks like it's been lovingly maintained, with no signs of wear or tear anywhere. And if we take a closer look at the boot lid, we notice that there's some kind of nitrous system installed – perhaps an afterthought to add a bit of excitement to this already-remarkable vehicle?

accurate in fact the lease in that video was the real lease um was the real lease um it's du to go back or we buy it out Mike called me from August Motorcar saying hey Dave they called me asking what do you want to do obviously you're keeping the car and I laughed yeah I mean I don't think theyd want a back like this but then I was like I got an idea what would happen if I was like yeah we won't return the car but we've cut it up what would they do and Mike's like well they would send an appraiser I come look at it take pictures and probably get sued it' be a big headache so then I idea to do this skit for you guys with an actor I thought really entertaining to have this guy come in and tear us apart and uh it blew up in my face you guys hated it I'm taking a loss the Big L on that one it'll never happen again moving forward all the videos in the F12 will be very specific to what's happening in that video no clickbait uh unless something crazy happens it's all going to be basically like updates on the build and so forth if you guys do me a favor um we make so many videos make a video every single day what I need from you guys is to watch these videos and the build series if be here really soon I hope we have the shifter ready to go I've already kind of drawn out the design for the transmission tunnel cover that's going to mount the shifter and the e braake but I can't finish it until I get the e braake place it in the car get it lined up exactly where I want it then I can get those Dimensions put them into the computer I take it over to the plasma table cut it out get it in the car weld it up all that good stuff but we can't do anything until we get that e braake handle so yeah tracking shows that it should be here within the hour it's out for delivery so I don't I guess we just clean up a little bit and wait for this to show oh so so close well says it's delayed expected delivery is now tomorrow which makes no sense but uh I want to get this done and I have the exact same e bra in in one of my drift cars at my shop so we're just going to run over there real quick and grab that and get back over here so we can finish up that centerpiece and uh really like almost kind of finish off the entire interior with those things mounted so let's go what are we driving Tim van van get that package mic dude do they have it in here should we go ask him pull up stuff everywhere but what we're here for right now is to get the E bra out of that car and uh there's too much stuff to move so Tim do you mind just climbing in that thing and uh I'll hand you tools as you need and get that thing out of there so Mark there's a there's a car under the car that's how a lift look that's what a car lift does Tim look they're matching they are matching yeah they're both 86s not only does him have a lot of cats he has also got cat-like reflexes thank you yep all right so we are up in the f30 to borrow this handbrake I just disconnected the rod from the master cylinder that goes into the handle you can see right here I just disconnected the top bolt that holds the master into the bracket I have the lower one still still to go and then the actual bracket two more bolts and then it'll be out of here all right we're out I'll hand you this all right let's go Tim you stay in you're coming I'm coming all right did it really show up while we were gone y going in you guys got anything for uh daily driven Exotics yes sir I do right on well that was a waste of time thank you this doesn't look like a handbrake so good thing we still went what time knee bre but oh yes that is another part for this car though all right oh look at that bad boy that's cool all that packaging nice youu joint right here it's a $100 piece of chrome Al with some bearings in it with some splines cut in it so this goes on the end of the steering column that's in the car so this will go right through the firewall this will connect and then there'll be another shaft that connects to the front to the uh the steering rack small piece but very important piece all right so now that we've got the E bra out of my car while we're waiting for the other one that we ordered for this car to arrive this is actually identical to that one so no big deal we got another master cylinder so we're going to bolt this up the reason we're putting this on right now is to check for clearance because it sticks out of the back quite a bit but also having it bolted together will allow us to set the angle on the handle and make sure that's in the right spot when we put it in the car the reason that we are doing an e bra in this car is basic idea of this car is is going to be almost like a competition drift car but then taken to another level and that is the jimana style that we're trying to do with this car and Jim con itself it's kind of a race two cars they're starting on the track at the same time there's mirrored sides of the track and you're trying to get through the course as quickly as possible but also there's elements thrown in there like uh you got to do donuts around a barrel or you got to slide around in a box and get out of there as quickly as possible so there's an aspect of slid and drifting built into a timed course kind of a thing originally there was a series that was going to basically be a Jana series that Ken Block had started about 10 years ago I actually went out and did the event the first one he did at Irwindale and I had an e92 at the time BMW with uh an s85 V10 which is the M5 or M6 V10 so I had swapped that engine with a sequential transmission into that car and built it into a drift car and uh it was it was wild this was remember like 2011 ahead of its time for what uh what we were doing back then but I entered that event I actually won the burnout competition which was awesome smoked out the entire place like the whole Irwindale stadium with just one car in the middle doing donuts that was a ton of fun but getting back to my point the jimana series was supposed to happen it may happen next year but right now they've had to postpone it that was an idea of what we were building this car for but also it's to bring you guys some just ins insane content now think the Ken Block Jim Style videos that they've been doing for uh many years now the whole idea of Damon starting this channel daily driven Exotics was to do those Style videos when he saw those Ken Block videos he wanted to do that but in an exotic car I'm excited to make this you know Damon's dream actually happen and be able to put this car together for that purpose so not only is it going to be like a drift car obviously it's going to slide around it's got an e bra it's got sequential transmission and all that good stuff but this car is going to have some very very special features that we are going to build into this car unlike a drift car with the Jim car and thinking about the wild stuff that we can do in the videos like jump the car um maybe some other crazy stuff we have a lot of ideas I'm not going to tell you everything right now but just about crazy stuff that you could possibly do with a car and stuff that you might think isn't possible to do with a car and that's what we're planning on trying to accomplish with this thing and not do it in something that uh you know is just kind of a standard regular car but do it in a Ferrari F12 with a V12 twin turbo hood exit exhaust flame shooting just Insanity that's why we're putting in the E bra and that's why we're putting in the lever shift we're going to put this e braake master cylinder together I'm going to jump in the car get this situated and I can cut that plate out and get these things in the car and it's going to be a big step towards finishing the interior of the car which is already come a long way the cage is all welded up now and done except for the dash bar so we got to finish that off but to do that I want to place a few more things then we can get it all wrapped up as you guys can probably see cage is all welded up the base plates are done the boxes are done and welded in actually had one of my buddies Sean come over and help out with a lot of that stuff so we could make some progress while we were working on all the other projects got a couple down tubes to weld in and the dash bar and that's about it and the cage will be wrapped up we will make door barss later on but that's down the line like I said I want to be able to move in and out of the car as easily as possible with that being said I'm going to jump in here Tim's ready he's got the E braake bolted up we already got the position marker for the shifter it's going to sit right there so Tim maybe you can hold that for a minute I know you're pretty good at holding shifters I'm going to want this kind of right in between the steering wheel and the shifter and I always like to have it slightly further forward than the shifter so as you're driving your hand's not going to hit here you have a little bit of clearance but you can reach forward naturally and grab it and you actually can have a pretty far extended arm when you're grabbing e braake it doesn't need to be real tight it gets kind of weird as you're pulling it so having it a little further feels more natural for me at least so we'll probably place that around here yeah I think that looks pretty good so I've already drawn this up in uh in the CAD program and now I can just add in these two bolt holes and position them then we can cut this plate out get it tacked in here we'll have a shifter and an e bra in the F12 got it all dra up ready to cut it and I am realizing now that that's the last bit of 3/16 thick aluminum that we have uh all we have is thin sheet metal we have just enough I think that looks pretty good our bolt holes are lining up and we got clearance on the sides just enough we want to keep this opening as small as possible because on the other side of this is the transmission the drive shaft all that kind of stuff so basically this acts like a firewall as well there's no way to really seal this off completely 100% so there's always going to be a little bit of a gap but if we can keep that gap down to like 1 mm 1 and 1 12 mm or something on the sides then it's as tight as we can get it um and it will be pretty solid get this dialed in we'll bolt this up it fits in the car hopefully it'll be good to go it is bolted up it looks really good I'm really happy with how it came out I think the spacing is good and we actually put a little bit of angle into the E braake to make it more natural when you're pulling the E braake so sitting in the sitting in the car you're reaching over and you're pulling at a bit of an angle and if the E braake is lined up perfectly parallel with the sides of the car with a tunnel then it wants to pull straight back and if you give it any sideways pull you're going to wear it out you're going to bind it up felt natural in the car about 5° of angle on there looks good I'm going stick it in here make sure that it fits and then we'll have to build this out really strong so it'll all get completely welded to the car the sides are going to get filled in where the gaps are and we're going to use some uh thicker material there some thicker aluminum to make sure that this is very very strong obviously you don't want this moving flexing or worst case ripping out of the car that's why like I said we're going to put some reinforcements down here in the these areas so that we can even run possibly even a little longer bolts to make sure we get the E braake really really solid mounted in the car all right moment of truth that looks really good hell yeah that feels like spot on right there shifter feels good it's not even well it in the car yet I feel like I'm ready to go ready to drive this thing already tack the front down lift up the rear here so I think I want this to sit pretty flat in the car brings the shifter back just a little bit drops it down a touch and that feels really good right there but I'm also sitting in Damon's seating position a bit stretched out it would feel more natural if I was further forward but yeah actually you know what I think we might just weld it like this that came together and look at it it just like makes the inside of the car look like a car now so cool to be adding an e bra and a sequential transmission with a lever shifter into a Ferrari F12 I'm so glad that I'm able to do this first time hopping into the F12 with steering wheel with all the pedals with the E bra and the shifter all installed I'm excited it's really starting to come together now and uh it looks so cool like the whole layout of the Interior pretty badass all all right first things first we get the steering wheel in place oh dude this is feels Feels Like Home yeah dude dude that is sick perfect placement you look forward you look wherever you need to as you're driving and these are just in natural positions like hand comes off the steering wheel goes right to the shifter you just reach forward slightly for the E bra dude I can't wait to drive this thing I know we have a lot of work still don't get me wrong there's a ton of stuff to do but we are in the car with the steering column with the seat the steering wheel the pedals the E bra the sequential lever shifter this is so sick it's really coming together now I think we have a lot of stuff that uh should show up in the next few days we've got stuff for the whole exhaust system possibly our turbos showing up which you guys have got to see those things they are massive they're so much bigger than the old turbos that was one of the issues the old turbos were just too small they were just choking down the exhaust along with a manifold we're really going to open this thing up it is going to sound insane we're really focusing on getting that V12 sound out of the exhaust with the turbo so I'm looking forward to that bunch of other components that we need to get this thing going they're all going to be showing up the flywheel the flywheel is almost done I think the clutch is in the release bearing all that stuff we're going to build the bell housing let's go you got your driving shoes on yeah these are the weighted ones so you can push further makes it makes it easier to get to Full Throttle just being able to actually sit in the car and grab the E braake and pull the shift lever get on the pedals it uh it fits well I'm I'm so happy with how everything came out now we have like I said a lot of work ahead of us because we have huge plans for this car the videos that we plan on making with this thing are going to be next level have you ever seen a Ferrari jump and land and not wreck well that's the plan with this we have to figure out how to do it we have to figure out how to build that suspension that's going to take those kind of hits there's a lot of other little things that we want to put in this car as well to be able to do some other kind of wild stuff that's all kind of getting planned out right now some parts are on order for these things so think of uh sparks flying Tire smoking now it's not a drift car this isn't going to go to Formula Drift this isn't going to go and compete I know a lot of you guys in the comments are saying oh the F12 is going to be for Essa and he's going to go back to FD with this thing that's not the plan with this car this thing is going to be one of the most insane looking cars you've ever seen doing some of the most insane stunts you've ever seen in a Ferrari or any car in general it is going to be amazing Damon's got a vision for this I've got a vision for how to build the car into how to do that and we also have to do a lot of training for Daman Damian's a very good driver but doing those kinds of stunts and precision he's going to need some seat time in this thing well this has never been done before no one's built an F12 Jim con car or a Ferrari Jim con car or a Lamborghini Jim con car any exotic really that I've ever seen there's hill climb cars there's drift cars there's road race cars I've even seen a Lamborghini rally car but not a Jim con car that is purpose built to do Insane things on video I heard you needed help on a Ferrari right I've come to the right place yeah we brought the right car as well obviously so we actually so uh last week we were driving up to Laguna to the racetrack and Damon is in the Dodge Ram towing the trailer and literally pushing these guys through the streets down the highway yep and then we were leaving the track and it was already dented and then in my Ram truck I started pushing them down the hill does it not I'm guessing that doesn't open it it still works no no what a weapon it doesn't even fix in yeah if it's not broke don't fix it it's just some character it still works I mean it looks great looks like had some Arrow doesn't need rebuilding doesn't need it good go yeah look ad's character I just like how there's like it's just the bootle there's no damage on the plate there's like even the even that's kind yeah oh there's a oh no Damon stabbed that it's okay he was like that's the stuff we do yeah that's that's what we do in England not in the US is this for the screen wash look inside no no no no oh yeah it's it's got nitrous nitrous you're at your mind I don't and then we got the transmission rebuilt fresh rebuil and Damon takes it out immediately turns the nitr on it's not broken and smokes it again so now you're driving it and it just like hunting all going to jump in here Tim's ready he's got the E braake bolted up we already got the position marker for the shifter it's going to sit right there so Tim maybe you can hold that for a minute I know you're pretty good at holding shifters I'm going to want this kind of right in between the steering wheel and the shifter and I always like to have it slightly further forward than the shifter so as you're driving your hand's not going to hit here you have a little bit of clearance but you can reach forward naturally and grab it and you actually can have a pretty far extended arm when you're grabbing e braake it doesn't need to be real tight it gets kind of weird as you're pulling it so having it a little further feels more natural for me at least so we'll probably place that around here yeah I think that looks pretty good so I've already drawn this up in uh in the CAD program and now I can just add in these two bolt holes and position them then we can cut this plate out get it tacked in here we'll have a shifter and an e bra in the F12 got it all dra up ready to cut it and I am realizing now that that's the last bit of 3/16 thick aluminum that we have uh all we have is thin sheet metal we have just enough I think that looks pretty good our bolt holes are lining up and we got clearance on the sides just enough we want to keep this opening as small as possible because on the other side of this is the transmission the drive shaft all that kind of stuff so basically this acts like a firewall as well there's no way to really seal this off completely 100% so there's always going to be a little bit of a gap but if we can keep that gap down to like 1 mm 1 and 1 12 mm or something on the sides then it's as tight as we can get it um and it will be pretty solid get this dialed in we'll bolt this up it fits in the car hopefully it'll be good to go it is bolted up it looks really good I'm really happy with how it came out I think the spacing is good and we actually put a little bit of angle into the E braake to make it more natural when you're pulling the E braake so sitting in the sitting in the car you're reaching over and you're pulling at a bit of an angle and if the E braake is lined up perfectly parallel with the sides of the car with a tunnel then it wants to pull straight back and if you give it any sideways pull you're going to wear it out you're going to bind it up felt natural in the car about 5° of angle on there looks good I'm going stick it in here make sure that it fits and then we'll have to build this out really strong so it'll all get completely welded to the car the sides are going to get filled in where the gaps are and we're going to use some uh thicker material there some thicker aluminum to make sure that this is very very strong obviously you don't want this moving flexing or worst case ripping out of the car that's why like I said we're going to put some reinforcements down here in the these areas so that we can even run possibly even a little longer bolts to make sure we get the E braake really really solid mounted in the car all right moment of truth that looks really good hell yeah that feels like spot on right there shifter feels good it's not even well it in the car yet I feel like I'm ready to go ready to drive this thing already tack the front down lift up the rear here so I think I want this to sit pretty flat in the car brings the shifter back just a little bit drops it down a touch and that feels really good right there but I'm also sitting in Damon's seating position a bit stretched out it would feel more natural if I was further forward but yeah actually you know what I think we might just weld it like this that came together and look at it it just like makes the inside of the car look like a car now so cool to be adding an e bra and a sequential transmission with a lever shifter into a Ferrari F12 I'm so glad that I'm able to do this first time hopping into the F12 with steering wheel with all the pedals with the E bra and the shifter all installed I'm excited it's really starting to come together now and uh it looks so cool like the whole layout of the Interior pretty badass all all right first things first we get the steering wheel in place oh dude this is feels Feels Like Home yeah dude dude that is sick perfect placement you look forward you look wherever you need to as you're driving and these are just in natural positions like hand comes off the steering wheel goes right to the shifter you just reach forward slightly for the E bra dude I can't wait to drive this thing I know we have a lot of work still don't get me wrong there's a ton of stuff to do but we are in the car with the steering column with the seat the steering wheel the pedals the E bra the sequential lever shifter this is so sick it's really coming together now I think we have a lot of stuff that uh should show up in the next few days we've got stuff for the whole exhaust system possibly our turbos showing up which you guys have got to see those things they are massive they're so much bigger than the old turbos that was one of the issues the old turbos were just too small they were just choking down the exhaust along with a manifold we're really going to open this thing up it is going to sound insane we're really focusing on getting that V12 sound out of the exhaust with the turbo so I'm looking forward to that bunch of other components that we need to get this thing going they're all going to be showing up the flywheel the flywheel is almost done I think the clutch is in the release bearing all that stuff we're going to build the bell housing let's go you got your driving shoes on yeah these are the weighted ones so you can push further makes it makes it easier to get to Full Throttle just being able to actually sit in the car and grab the E braake and pull the shift lever get on the pedals it uh it fits well I'm I'm so happy with how everything came out now we have like I said a lot of work ahead of us because we have huge plans for this car the videos that we plan on making with this thing are going to be next level have you ever seen a Ferrari jump and land and not wreck well that's the plan with this we have to figure out how to do it we have to figure out how to build that suspension that's going to take those kind of hits there's a lot of other little things that we want to put in this car as well to be able to do some other kind of wild stuff that's all kind of getting planned out right now some parts are on order for these things so think of uh sparks flying Tire smoking now it's not a drift car this isn't going to go to Formula Drift this isn't going to go and compete I know a lot of you guys in the comments are saying oh the F12 is going to be for Essa and he's going to go back to FD with this thing that's not the plan with this car this thing is going to be one of the most insane looking cars you've ever seen doing some of the most insane stunts you've ever seen in a Ferrari or any car in general it is going to be amazing Damon's got a vision for this I've got a vision for how to build the car into how to do that and we also have to do a lot of training for Daman Damian's a very good driver but doing those kinds of stunts and precision he's going to need some seat time in this thing well this has never been done before no one's built an F12 Jim con car or a Ferrari Jim con car or a Lamborghini Jim con car any exotic really that I've ever seen there's hill climb cars there's drift cars there's road race cars I've even seen a Lamborghini rally car but not a Jim con car that is purpose built to do Insane things on video I heard you needed help on a Ferrari right I've come to the right place yeah we brought the right car as well obviously so we actually have another car that uh needs a rebuild you want to take a look at that thing yeah it's outside the park I'm quite interested in this cuz yeah I haven't thing that that really went I just couldn't get around my head is why is the boot lid the only part that's damaged everything else looks perfect like there's not one scratch on the Chrome there that the boot lead has been peppered what happened so uh last week we were driving up to Laguna to the racetrack and Damon is in the Dodge Ram towing the trailer and literally pushing these guys through the streets down the highway yep and then we were leaving the track and it was already dented and then in my Ram truck I started pushing them down the hill does it not I'm guessing that doesn't open it it still works no no what a weapon it doesn't even fix in yeah if it's not broke don't fix it it's just some character it still works I mean it looks great looks like had some Arrow doesn't need rebuilding doesn't need it good go yeah look ad's character I just like how there's like it's just the bootle there's no damage on the plate there's like even the even that's kind yeah oh there's a oh no Damon stabbed that it's okay he was like that's the stuff we do yeah that's that's what we do in England not in the US is this for the screen wash look inside no no no no oh yeah it's it's got nitrous nitrous you're at your mind I don't know we uh we have too much fun with this thing yeah cool we we put the nitrous we put the nitrous in and I think it was what 30 seconds of Damon driving till they smoke the transmission really yep and then we got the transmission rebuilt fresh rebuil and Damon takes it out immediately turns the nitr on it's not broken and smokes it again so now you're driving it and it just like hunting all over the place oh P full thing someone take it someone take it I know it looks like a big project but honestly I think it's going to go to pretty quickly that we got like the wiring harness over there all the other parts are upstairs um tool boxes right here so if you want to help me out I think be a lot of fun yeah you sound you you're kind of convincing
