A Holiday Shopping Spree at Dollar Tree: A Personal Review

I recently had the opportunity to visit my local Dollar Tree store and indulge in some holiday shopping fun. As I wandered through the aisles, I couldn't help but be charmed by the festive decorations and lively atmosphere. One of the first things that caught my eye was a beautifully styled Santa Claus display on the side of his sleigh. The attention to detail was impressive, with glittery accents and intricately designed presents. I was particularly fascinated by the variety of Santas available, each one unique in its own way.

The Santa Claus displays were indeed a highlight of my visit. On one side, there was a stunning Santa sitting on a train, holding a lantern and surrounded by festive decorations. The level of detail was exceptional, from the intricate stitching on his coat to the sparkle in his eye. I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder as I gazed at this majestic figure. Another display featured a Santa Claus making his way down the chimney, filling stockings with gifts for children of all ages. This one had me giggling with delight, and I couldn't resist taking a closer look.

One of my favorite parts of the display was the use of glitter in the Santa's outfit. It added a touch of magic to the entire scene, and I found myself reaching out to touch it (much to my surprise). The attention to detail was remarkable, with even the smallest details, like the texture of the presents or the sparkle on the tree branches, adding to the overall festive atmosphere.

As I continued my shopping adventure, I stumbled upon a delightful collection of handmade cards. These were my favorite part of the holiday decorations at Dollar Tree, and I couldn't wait to share them with you. The first card featured a charming snowy village scene, complete with ice skaters, horses, and even a snowman or two. The level of detail was impressive, from the intricate stitching on the buildings to the sparkle in the skaters' eyes.

Next, I spotted a delightful dashing Santa Claus, speeding through the snowy landscape in his sleigh. This one had me feeling festive from head to toe, and I couldn't resist snapping a photo to share with you. Unfortunately, not all of the cards were as charming as this one, and some were more generic than others. Still, there was something about this particular card that caught my eye, and I knew it would make a lovely addition to any holiday collection.

As I delved deeper into the store, I stumbled upon a fascinating display of nutcrackers. These tiny soldiers were a delight to behold, each one unique in its own way. Some had intricate details like crowns or faces, while others were adorned with glittering accents or colorful hats. The ones from last year's collection caught my eye, particularly the ones with their mouths opening and closing, as if they were singing. Unfortunately, these particular nutcrackers didn't quite have the same level of detail as some of the others.

Despite a few disappointments, I left Dollar Tree feeling delighted and entertained by the holiday decorations on display. From the stunning Santas to the charming handmade cards, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a fan of Christmas or just looking for some festive fun, Dollar Tree has it all.

stuff but anyway whatever scratch all this and let's go ahead and dive in I'm just gonna pick a train them today so sorry if it seems kind of all over the place oh not Christmas I guess this was supposed to have been in my other haul but I found these barrettes I've been getting a bunch of these cute little barrettes and bringing them to my niece and I was actually with her the other night and we were putting all these and her hair in my hair and it was so fun also look I got this in have you guys seen my Amazon haul and this is one of the clips I actually said it was like six or eight pieces but it was actually 12 pieces for eight dollars anyways if you haven't seen that video I'll link it down below but now Christmas I picked up some of these star ornaments and I picked them up in multiple colors for this purpose the silver for my daughter because she has a peppermint theme and silver goes great in her room and I picked up the gold and red for just the house because I do traditional colors I'm not entirely sure what I'm gonna do with these but they're going to be great for DIYs they could be great as ornaments they're gonna be great as garland and I think that's probably what I'll do with them I'll make some sort of garland or charm so stick around I hope you're subscribed because we're gonna be starting Christmas videos DIYs November 1st are they're going off on ornaments and I found this beauty this top hat I love the plaid you know I'm a sucker for plaid and the bottom burlap has that farmhouse element as well that country rustic element and then they even look at this look at these Springs quality is pretty darn good for a dollar and you could just dream up whatever DIYs you want to do with this but I did buy a bunch of these to actually use them as their intended purpose as ornaments in one of my Christmas trees and this one I picked up only one because I am going to use it as a DIY and I don't know if you can tell if the camera would focus there we go it says joy Noelle peace believe and Christmas how clever is that to make a point so going from the longest word to the shortest word I just thought that was incredibly unique next in the back we have these three felt ornaments you could use these for kids and make crafts take some colored pom-poms and they could glue them on here and make them look like ornaments they couldn't even take some glitter and glitter up the star that's already at the top you could use these as Garland's are gonna be great they're gonna be great for teachers kids can write their names on it you could make a whole display also some you know adult like versions of DIY so what stay tuned and see what I'm gonna do with these okay has Dollar Tree ever done garland like this before I don't know you guys are gonna have to shake up my memory a little bit what I need to do I think I'm gonna do this week is I'm gonna watch some of my hauls from 2018 and see what I was getting from Dollar Tree but I got this garland it is 15 feet what I am thinking I have some great DIYs in mind for this so that's why I got one package of this I think that they're probably one of the best ornaments for their value for a dollar these are gorgeous let me just okay so here's a bunch of them it is a snowflake covered and dusted in glitter on the styrofoam can you see that right there on the side build a sparkle it is decorated on both sides and has like rhinestones from far away this just looks so so beautiful up close you can see the the rhinestone detail but even up close it's gorgeous - I mean it just kind of looks the same so I don't know why I described it like that but I thought these would be perfect in my daughter's room I'm either gonna turn these into Garland across her bed or I'm going to use these in her Christmas tree so recently I had hauled these Christmas ornaments that look like a play on a gift tag and I mention those like they probably have more and they do here is hella winter I believe the one that I got was piece something so here's Hello winter with the Snowman and here's holiday cheer and I love how the Snowman in each shot is completely different this ornament has to be new I just know this was not out last year look at this it's an ornament in the shape of an ornament but it has Santa's look to it so you've got his belt his suit and then he's got some snowflakes going on some wood buttons and then hohoho I will say that this isn't my favorite ornament that's out there even no it had so much potential look at this galvanized Accord the top I found some foam craft kits and then it just shows you how to assemble the the craft so there's a tree the penguin and then you get Santa I saw these online and I was just thinking please let me find some of them and I found a couple their decor boxes and you get the Santa version just very classic Santa and then this is a snowman and that just cute how they did that it's like the body of them so you don't see like hands or arms or face but you just know looking at it who the character is Santa and a snowman not decor but still Christmas related I found these gel air fresheners and look at the packaging gingerbread Gingerbread land limited edition so all that's so sad you have to remove the packaging in order to use this and so it's on the plastic wrap so you're gonna lose that image that's the only downside I I like for the image to be on candles and things like this but anyway it is I'm sure it smells like gingerbread wow I guess it if gingerbread land could have a smell it just might be this I found some base fillers that's what they're calling these you can see these are all the options that I found and they're little styrofoam balls these are gonna be great for any sort of DIYs and especially the white in here they kind of look like snowballs and these would be great to kind of set up through a Christmas village set so I probably need to get another bag the only problem is some of that blue is dusting off on the white but that's okay it's still really pretty give it your traditional colors some metallic colors and I've just so many DIY it's not just vase filling but I guess I could do with this dollar tree recently posted on their Instagram account that their Christmas village set is out and I did see it when I was out shopping for this stuff but I already own the entire set so but what I wanted to pick up some more of are the miniature trees this is just a steal for a dollar it's amazing these trees are so so good the quality look how beautifully flocked that they look and I can't believe they're a dollar they put out another wine bottle bag but what I found charming about this was the little snowy cap that she could put on the top if anything I'll probably just use this I thought that because I bought the rest of it just had it I don't know it's just kind of like love this gold I would probably have to chop off but it's to tie the bag and secure it but I just I think that's just mmm the belt could have been a little bit wider it's just not the best quality but I thought that this Santa cap was everything the cutest loot bags of all time and you get that charming red vintage truck with the tree in the back even the tree is decorated well are they different yeah they are different some trucks have a wreath on them some don't some are carrying a snowman my favorite honestly my favorite DIY of Christmas and my favorite probably DIY effort of all time that I've ever done for myself or my advent calendar bags where I just take lunch bags and I decorated them I probably have to redo a couple this year I will share those with you guys I'll link the originals down below so you can see what I'm talking about but in case you don't feel like you're crafty or you don't have the time for that these are going to be perfect as an advent calendar bag you could just somehow maybe make a little tag and write one two three four five a dates and then you could just fill these up there's so much fun I have best time doing them my daughter loves getting them even at the age that she is she loves these bags here is this bag Santa checking that list look at his hat I mean he looks fantastic here everything about his beard just the way that they just says nose everything all the details there's even a fire going on a the details of the presents the horse the train the bear his mug where's that mug at his fire oh gosh are you kidding me and then the side was like this and probably my favorite I don't know what it is about this one but he is on a train and he has taken off he's holding a lantern you get that glow oh my gosh there is his bag of presents and the ball the ball part of his hat I just so fluffy and large this Santa definitely looks different than the other one you get the wreath the train is decorated like what Oh what and then here is this Santa he's made it to your house and now he is filling up your stocking look at all the detail it so wonderful looks like a Christmas sweater on the side all right then I picked up some cards I am still waiting for their handmade cards the one that have a lot of texture and dimension to them and I found these they were my favorite look at this snowy village scene there are ice skating they're writing the carriage across the bridge they're making a snowman that dog is playing aah oh I just love this little town I don't know what to say about that and then this one is so cute dashing through the snow and I thought that this part was simple enough that you could use it in a planner to it you know it doesn't say thinking of you or something about someone you know it's just very generic but it's also a money a money card so if you are using it to give to someone and you're not sending them money you don't want to get this card because it says place money or gift card here I didn't realize how big this hall is but we're not done yet we're down to the last items and hold on because one dollar these nutcrackers and I think I have the collection from the year before or maybe even before that but these are different they have more of a plastic quality so I will say that just off the top of my memory the one from a couple years ago or better so look at him he is just look at this detail look at that yeah and the ones from last year or tho what they call that his is not all the way to the ground like his is or to the base so I love that it's I love all the detail he has a gun for his he's blue look at his hat love the shoulder detail he is awesome he's got trumpet and is that the right instrument sorry I'm I could be wrong look at his hat he has that black teeth detail I really really like him he's got gray tights on he has a sword done tada look at that he has a darker green whereas he has more of a bright green he's got gold tights he has white tights my gosh they're so cool and then this one I feel like is probably the most traditional of them all for me just because of the green coat and the green tights and then you could see he's got something like an axe wasn't that's such a fun haul I hope that you guys left everything that you saw and I hope that you find a lot of what you're looking for I know I can just be hit and miss with Dollar Tree stores and that's so so frustrating it breaks my heart when I so you guys tell me that your stores carry nothing and I'm just like why that makes no sense because a lot of these products have the dollar trees like stamp on it from their warehouse it just why wouldn't they distribute all of it maybe they do maybe it's being picked over already I don't know what's happening but anyway good luck I hope you find what you're looking for and I hope that you
