**A Month of Epic Deals: A Part Hunt Adventure**
It's been a wild ride this month as we embarked on a part hunt adventure that started out slow but ended up being a real treasure trove of deals. Our journey began with a GTX 950, which I offered for $40 Ozzie. I was hopeful that they would come back to me, and sure enough, they did. But then there was the 4770, which I offered for $100 Asean, followed by a 1660 that I offered for $320. Although the 1660 didn't come back at the price I wanted, it's great to know that these deals are looking really good.
**The Waiting Game**
As we waited for responses from our targets, we came across some other deals that caught my eye. One of them was an all-in-one liquid cooler for $35, which I offered for that price. I'm hoping that they will get back to me soon and complete this deal. Another one was a VS 350 power supply, which I offered for $20. This unit is perfect for building an RX 570 PC with a 4-core CPU. We also had a great offer on an i7-2650k in Aussie dollars, priced at $250 Ozzie, and a GTX 980ti for the same price.
**The Hunt Continues**
As the days went by, we were still waiting to hear back from some of our targets. However, on the third day of this part hunt, we received some great news. We picked up a 2i sevens 2600-450 Ozzie and an i7-4774k for $100 Ozzie in Brisbane. These deals were secured locally, which saved us from having to drive all the way up to Brisbane and back. It's always a bonus when you can find good deals close by.
**Networking and Deals**
One of the key strategies that we employed during this part hunt was networking and building relationships with people who might be able to help us secure some deals. By being friends with people in other places, I'm able to get them to pick up parts for me when they're available locally. This not only saves me time but also allows me to focus on finding more deals. It's a win-win situation!
**The Final Results**
In the end, we were able to score some fantastic deals that exceeded our expectations. We picked up 4x RX 570s at $400 AMS (plus 10 monitors), which worked out to be an absolute bargain of around $6,900 or $7,600 USD. We also flipped a heap of Pacey's, which easily accounted for all the costs. Although we didn't get any graphics cards this month, I was happy with my stack of RX 570s and I'm not too concerned about the GPU market.
**The Takeaway**
This part hunt has been an epic adventure, and I'm thrilled with how it's turned out. One of the key takeaways from this experience is that if you find a really good deal on one thing, don't be afraid to stock up on more of it. When prices change in the market, you'll want to have some extra units on hand to take advantage of the new price. It's all about balancing out your deals and making sure you're not missing out on any opportunities.
**The Future**
As I wrap up this month's part hunt, I'm excited for what's next. I've got a few personal things coming up in early next month, so I'll be taking a little break from the channel. However, I'll be back with more deals and adventures, so stay tuned! If you enjoyed this epic part hunt, don't forget to hit that like button and leave me some comments below on what you thought of today's video. Your feedback is always appreciated, and I look forward to continuing to bring you the best parts deals around.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhelp hey Chris how are you mate yeah I just I see got a Don here on gumtree for a dell optiplex 9020 you also got a few things I'd like would you be up for a visitor tonight 7 o'clock ok you're a sharp eye man yeah well I'm looking to clean up some stuff you got like you know dude you said you got $30 monitors in the ad as well for 22 inch how many of them you got literally oh I can imagine quite a few 46 I'm looking at a model there's a couple tomorrow because tomorrow night we're closing this week we're gonna build some shelves okay okay great just yeah thanks for it thanks for that okay if you just want to text this the way you are and all all organized a time to come over and what is crack-a-lackin' tech yes citizens of this lovely city of used pot pots price pots pots and price-performance use price-performance this is a hectic month as we already said in a lot of the previous videos it is one of the most hectic months ever but of course we're heading up to sort of in-between Brisbane and where I'm at now the Gold Coast we're gonna go up and deliver a PC and I was like damn I'm gonna look for some deals while I'm up that way I've been apparently this place I called up they're gonna hate the stuff but they won't be in by the time I get there so I gotta go there tomorrow and then less whoo I regularly get deals off he's on holidays until next month so that Avenue is not gonna be viable this month so I'm sitting here sweating a little bit because I always love to get deals I don't want to come up empty-handed and we're gonna deliver this PC and I want to get value out of the trip so I'm thinking one way or another I have to find some deals and I have to find them quick so I'm gonna be getting on the good old Kate I that's Japanese for smartphone and we're gonna find some deals on the way up and see what we can score and if we fail tonight it doesn't matter because there's always tomorrow but let's get you used parts before let's get you used price-performance capes on and get this deals hunt on the way underway so just drop that PC off to the dude he was actually only a 30 minute drive away so it ended up not being that bad and on the way I was also looking for some deals keeping my eye out on Facebook gum tree and it seems like it's a bit of a bust tonight I mean I did see an i7 4770k 4790 one guy got back to me already and said that he's firm on the price of 150 and I mean I'm pretty sure he'll get that for it but of course he always liked to shave it off and I would have had to have drove a further 30 minutes to get that deal so that's an hour in total extra transit so it just wasn't worth it but as for tomorrow we're gonna be meeting up with Chris seeing what he's got on hand because it definitely sounds like he's got a lot of monitors and hopefully he's got some other stuff as well but when I get back so I'm gonna eat dinner now I'm at the RSL it's a place local to me that does some pretty good feeds we're going to talk about what I think is going to be probably the fourth gen crunch something that I can kind of foresee already and it's a little bit weird so we're gonna sit down talk about that try and find some more deals of course but everything's been a bust tonight in terms of looking for ten series cards rx 575 ATS and it's weird because even some of the overpriced stuff isn't really coming up for sale so it's now the next day and I just went to bed early last night got a nice fresh night's sleep and I'm trying to put together a PC quickly here and this is the second time I've had a problem with these h61 Intel motherboards last time the BIOS was bricked when it was updating completely so it was toast and this time we've updated the BIOS but it doesn't matter what I do I cannot even get it to boot or even re update the boss because there's still one more BIOS update in order to get this thing working and man it's frustrating so I'm pretty much just gonna leave this one aside it's not even worth the time wasted trying to get it to boot it's just really frustrating like at this stage you update it once you go to update it again and then it just has this buuut problem where it doesn't want to do anything so try it with different graphics cards try different memory even tried a different CPU and we just do not have ignition but anyway let's sit down on the desk and talk about the fourth gen crunch so what has happened in the last month is I've noticed a lot of second and third gen I five tonigh sevens aren't being that popular anymore and actually when I put up a fourth gen PC for sale it sells really quickly and there are some differences between these two platforms and the most important being I guess for the fourth gen staff is that it supports the VR and it also supports avx2 instruction sets so it's pretty much relevant even in 2019 and on top of that fourth gen so important at least compared to six gen and seventh gen OMS because on sixth and seventh gen they've locked out pretty much anyone transplanting that stuff into a gaming PC case and so all we're seeing here in the recent video I did if you haven't seen that we'll put the link up here we're able to still get a fourth gen hu can actually get adapters for that and use that as a normal transplant and there's also some others out there I'm gonna try and work on the Dell and that's something that's come up as well because when that's relevant and you can still transplant that stuff into a gaming PC tower you're getting so much value out of there and that's the thing about using these old OEMs is that they're built pretty well but once you get price of the proprietary stuff you've just got such a good value proposition when you couple that with something like an RX 570 for example and so that's my sort of crux on where all this is leading to and that's the second and third gen stuff it's getting a bit outdated now and then the fourth gen stuff is really relevant especially when you look at the OEM stuff because it's really good value for money and also on top of that another benefit is also you can just heat up that sticker on the old OEM and then place it on your gaming PC and you've got a CoA on that gaming PC soo which is then even adding more value to the deal and so we came up empty-handed last night but one thing I've noticed is I have been like two phases I believe of getting banned and unbend from Facebook marketplace and I think I've been fully lifted now and I will make a video for you guys because a lot of people are messaging me saying how do they get on banned from the Facebook marketplace and the easiest way to find out is if you're not banned as if there will be a you'll be able to renew your listings on the desktop that's the most important thing and so I'm able to renew my listings on desktop again I'll make a video on that too because in Australia at least Facebook Marketplace is a really good Avenue to flip gaming PCs so that's something that you'll definitely want to get on and so that video be coming but let's take a look at what deals we can pull up on our computer now before we head up to Chris in Brisbane who we spoke to yesterday and see if we can organize a heap of different deals on the way so I just finished scouring the Facebook marketplace and also Gumtree and I pretty much only found two good deals and one of them was a 1080 TI and I dropped in an offer of 650 Aussie and if we can get it for that it'll be solid and then there was a risin 520 600 X and they wanted 180 I dropped in 150 so I'm gonna wait for those two people to get back to me and the person also selling the rising CPU you just check out what else they've got the sale and hopefully if I can get that deal then I'll try and barter for his ddr4 memory as well so that would be good if I could score the both of them for a good deal though besides that it is such a drought at the moment in terms of getting good deals like this month is really bad last month was really good I got heaps of good deals but man I'm sweating already but hopefully we're gonna go up to Chris know and see what he has because we'll definitely land some good stuff I mean 30 Aussie dollars for a 22 inch 1080p monitor already gonna land a heap of them and hopefully he's got some good OEMs that I'm able to transplant so that's the word of the street at the moment is the transplant but I was kind of expecting this month as well for a lot more Rison deals to be showing up and they're just not showing up locally where I'm at I mean you guys need to let us know in the comment section below is there a lot of light risin 5 2000 series CPUs coming up on the market because I think like I love the 2000 series great value for money but I'm just not seeing them come up locally in terms of getting a good deal so I thought honestly I thought with the Zen to launch and that being so good I thought you would have seen a lot more people even just wanting to upgrade their CPU not seen it so we were just about to leave on our way to Brisbane and someone contacted me hungry as for a gaming PC right before I left okay what can I whip up so quickly whip something up we've sold this and it's just on the way to so it's really convenient and now we're gonna go to this place up in Brisbane but the two people did get back to me on the rise in 5:30 2600 X and they want asking price so I'm gonna leave that for now and the person with the 1080 TI they were only really budging like $20.00 so both those deals are kind of a no-go and as you guys know in the parts hunt side don't overpay for stuff it's like strict discipline there's my asking price bang let's do it but let's get up and check out these deals so just went in there and this place was interesting because it didn't really have a name I just walked in that was so many monitors the guy was not lying when he was telling me on the phone they had monitors for days and days and so I picked up 10 22 inch monitors for 300 ozzie for all that with cables included and stands and then I looked around on what other pcs they had and they had three fourth gens two of those being G 400s and now I recently just did the 600 and that was fine and so I was figured well why not take a gamble with the 400s that's the HP systems and they're still 4th gen and then the Dell that's an OP deep Lex 90 20 so I'm gonna again take another gamble with that and see if I can repurpose these 3 4th gen pcs into gaming pcs and then they also had a ThinkCentre which was a 2nd gen and I was like sure I'll take that because I definitely know I can get that working and so that was four pcs and we got that for 450 Aussie dollars and now some of these are packed with one terabyte hard drives and a gigabytes of RAM so it really sweetens up a deal and that's just epic so far so that right there just makes the parts hunt all worthwhile but of course I'm gonna get back to the coast now because there's I've really checked out gum tree and Facebook here and there's nothing really cracking and I might wait till later tonight but I'm gonna check out and see if I can find some more deals see what we've got cracking for you guys and see if we can make this parts hunt even more yes or licious excuse me gangsters our thanks so this is going to sound a little bit crazy but I'm in the middle of looking for some more deals on gumtree and Facebook and I'm coming up pretty empty-handed I found someone was selling computer parts and they're asking about 220 Aussie for it I asked him if there was an i7 in that PC they said they didn't know so that usually means it's an i5 so I let that deal slip away it's not really worth it at 220 but here's the thing is I got back here just did the hustle and I managed to put that Lenovo coupled with a GTX 750 and it worked out fine and we got the monitor keyboard mouse combo I listed that for sale and within like five minutes someone messaged me just hungry as for it so we're gonna go deliver that now and then get something to eat after and I'll look for some more deals on the way but this month is crazy so far and one thing that I'm noticing now with the market is there's a drought like it's a seller's market I think if anything at the moment at least where I'm at at the moment it's crazy so must be that time of the year people are hungry as and so we paid 750 Aussie for all that gear we saw before the 10:00 monitors the four pcs we used one of those pieces one of those monitors and we're getting 400 back so that's over half back so this is just and that was the second gen of all the other bunch room we've got 3/4 gens pcs left over so that's what hustling is all about right you're seeing usually on the channel here you've got Kurt the bogan his in an eternal slumber at the moment and then we've got usually you guys get the yes-man it's usually on every single video yes man coming back and you guys have been requesting him quite a bit lately because you like Luke Bryan we want to see the use price hustle we want to see the used pots and that old person is Brian easy and it's coming back but I've gone on gumtree this time and I've scoured for more deals because I'm hungry for these deals and we've found a GTX 780 and they're asking 30 Ozzie which is like 20-something USD I put in an offer of $20 so be like 15 USD and they're saying it's artifacting and it can get a clearer screen and now I've seen this before because it's just on the teetering edge of not running at its default clock speeds and so if you got the 780 I believe you could just go and afterburner drop the memory speeds and the clock speeds a bit and I think it would work perfectly fine after that so I'm very curious to see if I can get this deal the next one we got is a GTX 950 I offered 40 ozzie hopefully they come back then after that is a 4770 and I've offered a hundred asean and that's my these deals are looking really good then there was a 1660 I offered 320 they came back at 350 so I'm like hmm maybe not but then there's some other deals here that I'm waiting on responses for and there's a age 55 all in one liquid cooler 35 bucks I offered for that so hopefully they get back to us and then there's a vs 350 nice little power supply offered $20 for that these will go perfectly fine with a rx 570 build for example and a 4 core and then next up is an i7 2650 Aussie dollars and then a gtx 980ti for 250 ozzie so a lot of these deals I'm gonna come back in the morning and we're gonna see if we scored any of them and report back so it's now the third day of this parts hunt and there is some pretty good news and that is we picked this up locally 4:35 Ozzy so they accepted that and that was just down the road so that was great and now the 2i sevens the 2600 450 Ozzy and also the i7 forty-seven seventy-four a hundred Ozzy we got those two but they're up in Brisbane as well as the vs 350 they accepted that for twenty and so I'm gonna get a friend to go pick them up for me since he's all in that vicinity and next time I see him whether it's in a week or two weeks time he can bring them to the Gold Coast and that saves me a whole trip up to Brisbane there and back and that's sort of what it's like as well I've sort of networked with people and I've got friends over other places and I'm a friend that they can utilize if there's a deal locally here and so that's the one thing you might want to think about is sort of setting up a little network of deals if you want to pick something up and you don't want to drive that far you can get someone locally to go pick it up for you and that'll really just save you time so this is looking pretty damn good this month what started out pretty slow is looking like it's come into the final Forte of epic and so wrapping up this month's part hunt it's been a really good experience I hope you guys have enjoyed the journey where in between I showed you all the hustle as well because that was just going out of control while I was doing this parts hunt so I thought I was well include that and in total we've got 750 Aussie for 400 AMS +10 monitors and then we've got 35 plus 100 plus 50 plus 20 and so that's 205 so 955 Aussie dollars which would be like and maybe like six ninety or seven six 80 USD or something to that for all that absolute bargain and of course we flipped a heap of Pacey's which easily accounted for all the costs and then some of all this stuff here now I didn't get some graphics cards this month but I was on the lookout for it but of course I've got a nice little stack of rx5 70s here so I'm not too concerned at the MoMA with graphics cards and that's what I've talked about in the past with deals if you find a really good deal and there's more than one of that then stock up a little bit because you never know when prices change in the market so if you can get a good deal on one thing and more of it then definitely stock up and then when the other stuff goes down in price go stock up on that and so if you balance out to getting this epic prices overall which you can then make money on with flipping gaming PCs and so that's what the hustle is all about and this has just been a really good month I really enjoyed it I hope you guys have - it's been super busy around here as well that's not gonna stop for probably another week I'm just going all out and getting all the backlog done and early next month I've got some personal stuff that's coming up so I'm gonna have to have a little bit of a break here on the channel and with all that aside hope you guys enjoyed your lies use part son of the month if you did then be sure to hit that like button for us also let us know in the comments section below what you think the best deal was in today's video love reading your thoughts and opinions as always and with that aside keep hustling and keep getting them used deals and I'll catch you in another tech video very soon peace out for now buddy youhelp hey Chris how are you mate yeah I just I see got a Don here on gumtree for a dell optiplex 9020 you also got a few things I'd like would you be up for a gigabytes of RAM so it really sweetens up a deal and that's just epic so far so that right there just makes the parts hunt all worthwhile but of course I'm gonna get back to the coast now because there's I've really checked out gum tree and Facebook here and there's nothing really cracking and I might wait till later tonight but I'm gonna check out and see if I can find some more deals see what we've got cracking for you guys and see if we can make this parts hunt even more yes or licious excuse me gangsters our thanks so this is going to sound a little bit crazy but I'm in the middle of looking for some more deals on gumtree and Facebook and I'm coming up pretty empty-handed I found someone was selling computer parts and they're asking about 220 Aussie for it I asked him if there was an i7 in that PC they said they didn't know so that usually means it's an i5 so I let that deal slip away it's not really worth it at 220 but here's the thing is I got back here just did the hustle and I managed to put that Lenovo coupled with a GTX 750 and it worked out fine and we got the monitor keyboard mouse combo I listed that for sale and within like five minutes someone messaged me just hungry as for it so we're gonna go deliver that now and then get something to eat after and I'll look for some more deals on the way but this month is crazy so far and one thing that I'm noticing now with the market is there's a drought like it's a seller's market I think if anything at the moment at least where I'm at at the moment it's crazy so must be that time of the year people are hungry as and so we paid 750 Aussie for all that gear we saw before the 10:00 monitors the four pcs we used one of those pieces one of those monitors and we're getting 400 back so that's over half back so this is just and that was the second gen of all the other bunch room we've got 3/4 gens pcs left over so that's what hustling is all about right you're seeing usually on the channel here you've got Kurt the bogan his in an eternal slumber at the moment and then we've got usually you guys get the yes-man it's usually on every single video yes man coming back and you guys have been requesting him quite a bit lately because you like Luke Bryan we want to see the use price hustle we want to see the used pots and that old person is Brian easy and it's coming back but I've gone on gumtree this time and I've scoured for more deals because I'm hungry for these deals and we've found a GTX 780 and they're asking 30 Ozzie which is like 20-something USD I put in an offer of $20 so be like 15 USD and they're saying it's artifacting and it can get a clearer screen and now I've seen this before because it's just on the teetering edge of not running at its default clock speeds and so if you got the 780 I believe you could just go and afterburner drop the memory speeds and the clock speeds a bit and I think it would work perfectly fine after that so I'm very curious to see if I can get this deal the next one we got is a GTX 950 I offered 40 ozzie hopefully they come back then after that is a 4770 and I've offered a hundred asean and that's my these deals are looking really good then there was a 1660 I offered 320 they came back at 350 so I'm like hmm maybe not but then there's some other deals here that I'm waiting on responses for and there's a age 55 all in one liquid cooler 35 bucks I offered for that so hopefully they get back to us and then there's a vs 350 nice little power supply offered $20 for that these will go perfectly fine with a rx 570 build for example and a 4 core and then next up is an i7 2650 Aussie dollars and then a gtx 980ti for 250 ozzie so a lot of these deals I'm gonna come back in the morning and we're gonna see if we scored any of them and report back so it's now the third day of this parts hunt and there is some pretty good news and that is we picked this up locally 4:35 Ozzy so they accepted that and that was just down the road so that was great and now the 2i sevens the 2600 450 Ozzy and also the i7 forty-seven seventy-four a hundred Ozzy we got those two but they're up in Brisbane as well as the vs 350 they accepted that for twenty and so I'm gonna get a friend to go pick them up for me since he's all in that vicinity and next time I see him whether it's in a week or two weeks time he can bring them to the Gold Coast and that saves me a whole trip up to Brisbane there and back and that's sort of what it's like as well I've sort of networked with people and I've got friends over other places and I'm a friend that they can utilize if there's a deal locally here and so that's the one thing you might want to think about is sort of setting up a little network of deals if you want to pick something up and you don't want to drive that far you can get someone locally to go pick it up for you and that'll really just save you time so this is looking pretty damn good this month what started out pretty slow is looking like it's come into the final Forte of epic and so wrapping up this month's part hunt it's been a really good experience I hope you guys have enjoyed the journey where in between I showed you all the hustle as well because that was just going out of control while I was doing this parts hunt so I thought I was well include that and in total we've got 750 Aussie for 400 AMS +10 monitors and then we've got 35 plus 100 plus 50 plus 20 and so that's 205 so 955 Aussie dollars which would be like and maybe like six ninety or seven six 80 USD or something to that for all that absolute bargain and of course we flipped a heap of Pacey's which easily accounted for all the costs and then some of all this stuff here now I didn't get some graphics cards this month but I was on the lookout for it but of course I've got a nice little stack of rx5 70s here so I'm not too concerned at the MoMA with graphics cards and that's what I've talked about in the past with deals if you find a really good deal and there's more than one of that then stock up a little bit because you never know when prices change in the market so if you can get a good deal on one thing and more of it then definitely stock up and then when the other stuff goes down in price go stock up on that and so if you balance out to getting this epic prices overall which you can then make money on with flipping gaming PCs and so that's what the hustle is all about and this has just been a really good month I really enjoyed it I hope you guys have - it's been super busy around here as well that's not gonna stop for probably another week I'm just going all out and getting all the backlog done and early next month I've got some personal stuff that's coming up so I'm gonna have to have a little bit of a break here on the channel and with all that aside hope you guys enjoyed your lies use part son of the month if you did then be sure to hit that like button for us also let us know in the comments section below what you think the best deal was in today's video love reading your thoughts and opinions as always and with that aside keep hustling and keep getting them used deals and I'll catch you in another tech video
