Welcome to Alphabet City: A Guide to Samsung's Latest Galaxy S20 Pricing Reports
We're excited to have you as our amazing audience, and we've got a lot of pricing reports about the S20 lined up for you. Let's dive into a new report from a Korean news outlet called News One, which has an exclusive on the S20 pricing. According to News One, in Korea, the S20 will cost 1.25 million won or around $1050 USD for the standard model, while the S20 Plus will cost 1.35 million won or around $1177 USD.
The news report also echoes an early report saying that overseas pricing will be as follows: S25G 900 to 1,000 euros, S20 + 5G 10,51 to 1,100 euros, and the S20 Ultra 5G at 1,300 euros. This is pretty much exactly what Max Weinbach tweeted in late January.
Meanwhile, John Prosser of Front Page Text has got T-Mobile's pricing for the US, which shows that the S20 will be priced at $9.99, the S20 Plus at $11.99, and the S20 Ultra at $13.99. However, there's a twist - according to Prosser, the pricing may be different on AT&T, with each model costing $100 less.
It's worth noting that the S line has been sticking to its premium pricing strategy, with no budget version of the S10 II in sight. The S20 base model might replace it, but we'd love to hear from you if you've heard anything about a budget version. Moving on, News One reports that pre-orders for the S20 will open up on February 14th.
Now, let's talk about storage capacity. News One says that the S20 and S20 Plus will ship with 128GB of storage, while the S20 Ultra will pack in 512GB. Older reports also mentioned that the S20 Ultra would come with a microSD card slot for additional storage, but it seems that only some models will have this feature.
It's fascinating to see how much information has been leaked about the S20 before its official release. It almost looks like Samsung is setting expectations for the phone while keeping all the details under wraps. We can't say for sure whether this is deliberate or not, but we're excited nonetheless to get our hands on these new phones.
Samsung makes some of the best smartphones out there, and we're definitely not fans of every app that comes with them. However, Samsung's overall designs are very sleek and stylish. We're curious about what camera tricks will be featured in the S20 - it's always impressive when Google puts together a great software package. And who wouldn't want a pure version of Android on their Samsung devices? Alas, it seems that won't happen anytime soon.
We've also talked about the pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip before, which was around $1600 USD. We'd love to see what other comments you have on this topic, so feel free to share them in the comments section below.
