Apple Watch Series 4 Cellular Stainless Steel Vs Aluminium Variant

**Apple Watch Review: Stainless Steel vs Aluminum**

In this review, we'll be comparing the stainless steel version of the Apple Watch with its aluminum counterpart. Both models are sleek and stylish, but they differ in terms of materials, pricing, and functionality.

The stainless steel version is a premium option that offers a more polished look and feel compared to the aluminum model. However, it's also a bit more expensive, starting at $70mm, whereas the aluminum model starts at $52,900. This significant price difference makes the stainless steel version a better choice for those who want a high-end watch with a premium finish.

One notable feature of the stainless steel version is its ability to create color, whereas the aluminum model only has black and white options. Additionally, the stainless steel model has a more premium build quality and is slightly more durable than the aluminum model.

When it comes to functionality, both models offer similar features, including GPS tracking, heart rate monitoring, and water resistance up to 50 meters. The stainless steel version also features a ceramic back, which provides an additional layer of protection against scratches and wear.

In terms of durability, the stainless steel model is more resistant to scratches and fingerprints due to its metal finish. However, this also means that it's more prone to fingerprints and smudges. On the other hand, the aluminum model has an ion X-class strengthened glass screen, which provides added protection against scratches and cracks.

For those who want a more premium experience without breaking the bank, the aluminum model is still a great option. However, for those who want a high-end watch with a premium finish, the stainless steel version is worth considering.

**Protective Features**

One of the standout features of both models is their protective capabilities. The Apple Watch comes with a built-in GPS chip and a water-resistant design that can withstand exposure to water up to 50 meters. However, the stainless steel model takes it a step further by offering an additional layer of protection against scratches and wear.

The stainless steel version also features a more premium glass screen that's designed to be more durable than the aluminum model. Additionally, the watch comes with an ion X-class strengthened glass screen, which provides added protection against scratches and cracks.

**Cellular Connectivity**

For those who want to stay connected on-the-go, both models offer cellular connectivity options. The stainless steel version is available in a single cellular model, whereas the aluminum model offers both cellular and non-cellular variants.

In terms of cellular connectivity, both models work seamlessly with most carriers and provide fast data speeds. However, the stainless steel model requires a more premium subscription plan to access certain features like Wi-Fi calling and cellular data.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and in this video I'm going to talk about Apple watch series for and in fact if you have been following me just about a month ago I had posted the unboxing of the c-4 SmartWatch I was actually using the series three earlier I used it almost for a year so if you want to know about overview of what is a comparison with the series three physically watch that other video I'll leave the link in this video I'm going to talk about just about two days ago this Apple watch series 4 was officially launched in India and they also launched the cellular version and this is the cellular version that I've started using just from yesterday that's me know about one and a half days and this is actually the more premium stainless steel version and from the way I had actually got this regular series for aluminum version so and also actually show you the difference between them because many people who are asking me what's the actual difference and I also talked about the experience of using the cellular version in India in India actually it works with if you have a Geo cell or the eight-tails and these are the two providers that work with what he says cellular watches with Apple watch and I'll also answer a lot of questions that I was getting from you guys you might be buying this Apple watch for the first time so a lot of questions and one thing I'll make it very clear because I get this question a lot you actually guys need an iPhone to make this happen watch work the Apple watch won't even activate if you don't have an iPhone and don't expect that if you have any other iOS device like iPad etc to work you and need an actual iPhone to make this work so if you don't have an iPhone don't get that watch and first let me actually glad I was getting this question a lot let's let me actually physically show you the difference between this regular Almunia version and the premium stainless steel version so guys here is the Apple watch and this is actually the stainless steel version and this is the aluminum version and guys both are 44 mm and don't worry I just removed this trap it's not broken you can just slide it and yes even this one actually the stainless steel version came with the same trap but I've just replaced it with another strap and good thing is that even with these new series for you can use these old straps this was one of my old straps of it seriously so you can actually do that and the first thing that you noticed is the color is slightly different between these two if you look closely let me try to human a little bit for you guys and yes the naming is also different with this aluminum version it's actually create color as you can see but with the stainless steel it's actually black and obviously this is a little bit more lossy because it's stainless steel but again even this space gray what they call looks actually really nice in my Frank opinion yeah but definitely the stainless steel looks a little bit more premium and more polished but again it's also a fingerprint magnet because of that as you can see that's not the case with this one I mean most people won't realize the difference I guess people who know will look at the stainless steel and because of this they will know it's the stainless steel version another big thing is that with the stainless steel version again it's cost significantly more and this is a more premium version and they only come in this cellular model whereas with this Albania model as you can see this is the non cellular model so you can offer the cellular or the non city in the world and with this aluminum version but if you are opting for the stainless steel and you're paying there definitely a lot more it's only in this single model and it's generated by this red ring as you can see whereas the system going towards the back it's almost the same and I really like this there was an earlier variants of Apple watches the cheaper ones didn't have a ceramic back but even on this Albini one as you can see this is actually having the earth ceramic back so that's a good thing and yes obviously even on this stainless steel version it's a ceramic back and in terms of functionality it's almost the same but now moving to the last protection that we have on this regular almani version apple is giving us ion x-class this is strengthened glass that they have but on the premium stainless steel version you get more premium glass that's actually subpar glass so definitely yes you are getting better build quality stainless steel body which will be slightly more durable and the glass is of our glass it's not to say that the glass used on this one is bad I had the regular series three aluminum one which also had the eye on its class and durability of that one was also good with almost one year full of usage just I had one small scratch and I had banged it a couple of times but yeah definitely the stainless steel has slightly better build quality and more durable so far glass to boot out and major difference I would say in terms of functionality both have same functionality so you're not losing out you can also get the cellular version with this aluminum one I believe in India the cellular version for this aluminium 44 mm is 52,900 Vera's the stainless steel version starts at 70 mm so definitely this is a lot more expensive and biggest difference I would say between these two is obviously the colour this is great this is black and obviously this is stainless steel this is Almunia m-- and you get only the cellular variant with the stainless steel variant term so if this was the big difference between the stainless steel variant and the aluminum variant guys and I thought to include the FAQ video which where many of you have actually asked about specific questions of regarding this Apple watch but that video I shot actually guys and it's almost like 12 minutes long so I'll just leave the link for that video because otherwise this video would have to come very big another thing is that many of you have asked me about the cellular version this is the official version that I've got it at in India and yes I have created with my G of of SIM it works with gon a10 in India and activating that cellular plan is actually very seamless you have to just go to the watch app guys and here if it's the cellular version you'll have this option of mobile data just go over here fine as you can see my provider is geo I mean just click on this and you can manage your geo account from here and it will ask - already paid guys and here you just enter your geo number and a password and it will automatically get paid with your cellular model it was a very seamless experience I thought it would have been complicated I would have to go to a geo store OOP showroom whatever get it activated but you can do it yourself within two minutes so anyways guys also watch the other video that I posted it's the FAQ video about this Apple watch where I have said about 10 or 11 questions that were your user questions and I think so if someone s bind Apple watch for the first time those that video actually answers a lot of valid questions so anyways guys that's it for now for this video if you have any other questions regarding this one do let me know in the comment section below I'll be more than happy to answer them anyways guys that's it for now thanks for watching this is Ron cheat and I hope to see you in my next video take care guyshi there this is Ranjit and in this video I'm going to talk about
