Anna Chlumsky's Recipe for Pasta w_ Broccoli & Egg _ BA Q&A

My Name is Anna Kumy: A Culinary Q&A Session

Hello and welcome to my Q&A session! My name is Anna Kumy, and I'm excited to share with you some of my favorite recipes and cooking techniques. Today, we're going to talk about pan-roasted broccoli on top of pasta with lots of Parmesan and a fried egg. This dish is a crowd-pleaser, and I think anyone can be happy with it.

To start, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Then, cook some pasta according to the package instructions. While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil, followed by broccoli florets for about two minutes on each side, or until they're tender but still crisp. Next, cover the skillet with a lid and reduce the heat to low or medium-low, depending on how much you have. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes, then remove the lid and increase the heat back to high.

While the broccoli is cooking, chop some garlic cloves and add them to the skillet. Cook for about a minute, until fragrant. Now, season your pasta with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Add the cooked broccoli on top of the pasta, followed by the fried egg. The yolk will create a creamy sauce that complements the crunchy broccoli perfectly.

Now, let's talk about some other recipes I'd like to share with you. One of my favorite comfort foods is coffee hot cake. It's a classic dessert that's easy to make and always a hit. Simply mix together flour, sugar, eggs, and milk, then add your choice of nuts or chocolate chips. Bake in the oven until golden brown, and enjoy!

Another dish I'd like to share with you is tripe soup, also known as Dava. This hearty soup is a staple in my household, and it's easy to make. Simply sauté some onions and garlic in oil, then add diced tripe, vegetables, and broth. Let it simmer until the meat is tender, then season with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs.

I'd also like to recommend m mudo, a popular Czech dish that's similar to tripe soup but made with beef or veal instead. The result is a rich, flavorful soup that's perfect for special occasions. Simply sauté the meat in oil until browned, then add diced vegetables and broth. Let it simmer until the meat is tender, then serve hot.

Finally, I'd like to share with you some of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes. One classic dish is pumpkin pie, which is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. Simply mix together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and spices, then bake in the oven until set.

Another popular dish that's perfect for Thanksgiving is roasted turkey with stuffing. This recipe is easy to follow and produces a deliciously moist turkey every time. Simply season your turkey with salt, pepper, and herbs, then roast in the oven until golden brown. Meanwhile, cook your favorite stuffing ingredients in a skillet or oven-safe pot until crispy.
