Minecraft It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Winter

As I sit here playing Minecraft, I've come to realize that winter is slowly taking over. Most of the leaves have fallen off, and it's starting to feel like the polar vortex is still affecting us. Seattle, on the other hand, managed to dodge a bullet or two, with snowflakes flying down fast enough to make anyone feel like they're being hit by bullets.

My wife has been feeling a little fussy today, so I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Maybe she just needs some Google search therapy or maybe she's secretly a Bing fan? Whatever the reason, I'm here to support her and help her through whatever is bothering her. She seems okay now, but I'm keeping an eye on her nonetheless.

We're expecting three live streams in 30 minutes, and I need to get everything ready for our viewers. Maybe we'll be discussing symptoms or something? My friend Lizz gave us some new socks that she thinks are cute, but I have to admit, I'm a little obsessed with socks myself. There's nothing like having a few pairs on hand, especially when winter is in full swing.

I pulled out the green socks Mommy was wearing earlier and showed them to my kids. Daddy has plenty of socks to choose from, but mine will never be used. That's just the way it goes sometimes. The socks are cute, though! My daughter asked if she could wear them, but I told her they were special socks that would only ever be worn by Mommy.

My wife was away for a few hours, and my kids had 44 bottles in total. When she came back, she seemed hungry, and I knew it was time to feed our little one again. Daddy's job is to keep everyone full and happy, even if it means getting dirty along the way.

As I cleaned up around the house, I took a moment to admire my reflection in the mirror. Just kidding! I was actually heading downstairs to clean up some carpet stains when I knocked my elbow on the banister. Ow, ow, ow – that hurt! I'm not sure how much longer I can take it, though.

Just as I was starting to feel like I needed a break, I heard a knock at the door. My mom and dad were calling from out of town, and we got to Facetime them for the first time in a while. It's always nice to catch up with loved ones, even if it means putting my injured knee aside for a little bit.

My kids are still feeling a bit sleepy, so I decided to make some dinner while they slept. They're always excited to see me when I get home from my adventures in Minecraft. As we chatted and caught up, my daughter told me that Daddy took good care of her today. That's the best kind of praise I can ask for!

Now that Mommy is back with us, it's time for some quality family time. We're enjoying each other's company as we sit down to dinner together. And yes, there are meat sprinkles on my pasta – it's going to be a delicious meal! As we eat, I realized that the birthday balloon has been floating around our house for quite some time now. Maybe one day soon, it'll finally touch the ground.
