iPhone X Clone Unboxing & Hands On

A Look at the Fake iPhone 8: Uncovering the Clones

The fake iPhone 8 is a cleverly crafted replica that can deceive even the most seasoned Apple enthusiasts. Located on top, the lock screen actually worked, allowing us to take a closer look. As we swiped over to the right, we saw the camera, controls, and widgets, which were very similar to iOS. However, upon closer inspection, we noticed that this was not an iPhone 7, but rather a fake device running iOS 10.

One of the first things that struck us was how nicely put together the fake device looked. The widgets were similar to those on iOS, with editing capabilities and the ability to add more features using a button at the bottom. We also noticed that when we dragged down on the Spotlight search bar, it brought up the keyboard, whereas on an actual iPhone, it didn't. This was just one of many subtle differences between the fake device and its real-life counterpart.

The home screen was another area where the fake device failed to impress. Without a home button, users had to press the sleep/wake button to unlock their device, rather than simply swiping up from the bottom. The "Delock" sound effect was also noticeably different from the one used on actual iPhones. Furthermore, when we navigated to the Notification Center and Settings, we saw that the fake device was running iOS 11.0.1, which is not yet released by Apple.

As we compared the software of the fake device with an actual iPhone 7 side by side, it became clear just how different they were. The icons, controls, and overall user interface were all distinct from one another. Even small details like the keyboard layout and App Store icons told a tale of two devices. We also took note of the camera, which was touted as having dual-camera capabilities, but ultimately revealed to be a single lens with no portrait mode option.

In conclusion, the fake iPhone 8 may look and feel convincing at first glance, but it falls short in numerous areas. From its iOS software to its camera features, every aspect seems to be slightly off. If you're considering purchasing an iPhone, we highly recommend buying directly from Apple to ensure authenticity and avoid falling prey to these clever clones. With the release of the actual iPhone 8 on the horizon, we'll be taking a closer look at how it stacks up against its fake counterpart.
