My Recent Shopping Spree at Tuesday Morning

I just had to get this adorable Nutcracker bag, and I think I'm going to do like a gingerbread theme with my gift wrapping this year. As soon as I saw it, I was like, "This is one of those bags that I just have to get." I'm one of those people who loves shopping bags, even though I don't always end up using them. In fact, I remember loving shopping bags when I was a kid and we would go to the mall. We would pay a quarter, and then we would get this really nice shopping bag that we could put all our other shopping bags in.

I'm pretty sure it was just at the Dallas Gallery that they did this, but my grandmother always loved going to stores where you could buy these special shopping bags. She would always try to find one and pay the quarter, and then she would put her purchases in the bag. This experience started my love for shopping bags, and I've been on the lookout for unique and interesting ones ever since.

One of the things that I loved about the Nutcracker bag is its shape. It's just so unique and fun. As a collector of cards, I'm always on the lookout for unusual shapes and designs. In fact, I was trying to find some specific cards that I had hauled from my last Tuesday Morning video, but they were all gone! I'll have to try again at another Tuesday Morning and see if I can find them.

But anyway, back to the bags. I also found this one that I just love, with a little tassel on it. It's got the whole dog crew, which is so cute. They're in the back of the red truck, and it looks like they're all decorated for Christmas. There's even a tree and presents - it's just too adorable. This bag would be perfect for someone who loves dogs as much as I do.

I also found this one swan card that was gorgeous. It was 12-count, but the design on it was just so beautiful that I had to have it. And the best part is, it breaks open to reveal its contents - it's like a little surprise inside. I love unique and special cards like this one.

Finally, I found this last card that I thought was really cute. It had a fun design on top, with a double layer effect that I just loved. The colors on it were also really pretty, so I knew it would look great in my December Journal. And the best part is that it's only $6.99 - what a steal!

Tuesday Morning is one of my favorite stores because they always have such unique and interesting items. It's kind of like a treasure hunt, searching for all the different things that they carry. Sometimes you find similar items at other Tuesday Mornings, but not always. That's part of the fun of shopping there - you never know what you're going to find.

As I was shopping at Tuesday Morning, I also couldn't help but talk about my dog, Loki. He loves going for car rides and being outside in the fresh air. In fact, he lives for it - as soon as we get in the car, he's ready to go. It's like he has a special radar that detects when we're getting into the car. And even though we just got back inside, I know he'll be waiting by the door, ready to go again.

are the only two I know so far I don't know if I'm gonna stop at a thrift store or not just kind of depends on timing but first I wanted to share with you guys my outfit just in case you care and want to see because I know you guys like from my main Channel you don't really get to like see um what I'm wearing head to toe you only really see like this part but got out of half so there's that and side braid I'm trying not to wash my hair too much um so that's why I'm wearing hats a lot but also I know it's probably not good for my hair but anyways um so I have on this knit little top which is from Sheen my hat is Nike which is from Amazon my shorts which this you can't really see that well either all right that's a little bit better so my shorts are from she and I love the length of these and I think the fact that I paired them just with like plain thin flip-flops also from Shan I think just makes the outfit very casual and very comfortable which is like my new thing so there's that these cute little earrings with the pearls are from I think Sheen this is my little bracelet with bloxy on it um and then this bracelet right here is from Amazon which is linked in my short front so it's basically an Amazon and she an outfit so there's that I'm gonna go grab my purse which is going to be a crossbody it's a Ralph Lauren I should have brought it but I'll show you guys that in a second but I'm gonna grab my purse and I have this purse but all my things are in it so I'm gonna switch it out with this one foreign now let's go all right I made it to Tuesday Morning first I decided to come here um just because I couldn't wait but now I'm a little too early so I've been sitting here which is fine because I've been having a ball catching up on YouTube videos that I've wanted to watch but I'm also trying to mentally prepare myself for you know not to get distracted while I'm in the store because what I really want to look for is certain colors of Christmas things um like creams neutrals and red I think that's really going to be my color palette um with plaid details as well but I also want to look for gingerbread stuffs but anything that is just brown and white so I'm not going to be necessarily looking at gingerbread things with colors um because I already have so much of that already oh my God look at these mugs they have a snow globe lid I've got three of them I'm getting some Halloween stuff because I'm still journaling and then a bunch of cards as well because I love journaling with these all right look at these cute little boxes for 4.99 but you could easily make this a Dollar Tree you just go buy a big pom pom they make they have like bags of these at Hobby Lobby probably lost some not probably it's going to be less than 4.99 this deer is gorgeous it's giving me Mackenzie Childs foreign foreign thank you all right I'm back home now and I'm in my office there's a little bit of like Shadow going on on this side just because the window's over here but Loki's in here and he's hanging out and a storm is blowing in so I also have like the window open for him or else I would probably I can cut the shades a little bit let's see if that will work my ultimate goal of going to Tuesday morning like I explained in the car was to really hunt down anything that was like brown and white um in terms of like gingerbread decor and I found gingerbread Decor I just didn't find what I was looking for so but it was still a very successful trip because the mugs I I don't even know what to say about them because I've never seen mugs like that in my entire life so I feel like that should be what we should just look at I have two huge bags of really fun things so let's just pull out the mugs because have you ever seen mugs with a snow globe lid I mean what so here's your mug this is your coffee mug and then you get a snow globe lid I've never been more just like my brain can't comprehend it didn't know this was a thing didn't know I was going to yeah here is the Snowman I got all of them except for the gnome and only because I'm just not a known person so the Snowman full piece I'm actually gonna save these because you can see like this way um which is super cute I'm gonna use these even like when I'm drinking coffee but when I store them away um yeah I think that will be really really good but I mean just like the Snowman himself is super adorable and then Santa I think Santa was the first one that I saw and I think it would have been really cool to get a Mrs Claus um but here's Santa and I love the candy cane stripe handle I love how Jolly he looks and he's also in the snow globe as well he's in there holding a Christmas tree and like it's just a white and red mug which is really cool I love that um the other ones have a little bit more color to them but you can also tell like they are matching sets like the handles are the same on this one on this one they are not the little camper but how adorable is this I feel like should I just hold these up for an hour and just you're probably already gone no one's even here everyone just left for Tuesday morning um so this one has the little camper with the tree on top so it like matches what the mug is which is really darling and even if like let's say you kind of wanted to use them you know the mug is a mug you could also use these in um tier tray as Decor or just like around the house as Decor especially if you have like a snow globe collection you know so there's that and they were priced at 9.99 I have no words for that price like that is absolutely amazing all right moving on or else I feel like we'll just sit at the snow globe coffee mugs forever can't even believe like snow globe coffee mug just came out of my mouth I don't understand um all right so I picked up this really cute Jolie's Boutique Christmas tree with all the little presents it was 2.99 and I got this for crafting for my junk journaling which is like my favorite thing it's been such a healthy hobby for me I've actually been looking for a hobby for a while I've talked about it like the last two years and junk journaling is it's everything which is why I'm so passionate about it that I've been selling mystery kits um in my Etsy shop so if you want to get your Christmas mystery kit I have them available so then I picked up these napkins now what has blown me away is that this really isn't my style but when I look at these I just get this overwhelming urge to do a Christmas junk journal in these colors and I don't I don't think of pink with Christmas ever I'm very traditional red green golds that's my thing plaid okay so the fact that this is what I'm showing you today it should be surprising to everybody now these are just napkins so you're probably like what what who cares about the napkins but napkins are actually amazing for Junk journaling they're so cute you can just kind of like leave them as is and kind of create little folds in them or you can even kind of like glue them down and use them as a scrapbook paper so you can like peel away the back layer of because there's always like two Plies I guess to to these little napkins but anyways so this pink moment which with this traditional red and green slightly obsessed now this one doesn't have any pink but it's got this like baby blue in here and I'm loving this this is giving me very much vintage Vibes but in a in a Whimsical way if that makes sense so not in like in a vintage traditional way but in a vintage Whimsical way so there were a lot of napkins to choose from that were way more crafty girl-esque I guess you could say so there's that all right then in this huge bag I picked up this cute little jar that had a bunch of little stamps in it this was 5.99 oh by the way 3.99 and this was also 3.99 um so this was 5.99 and I thought it was a really great deal because one you get the little jar which is awesome and then you get all of these like fantastic little rubber stamps so I'm just going to go and show you guys I mean I don't even really know what's all in here because I didn't open it up in the store but I was really kind of trying to look for as much like Christmas stuff as I could find but these things are I think it was definitely worth the pickup so and stamps is another thing that I'm I'm really getting very much into with junk journaling at first you can kind of feel intimidating I don't know why maybe does anyone else feel that way about stamping but um maybe not but I feel like it's not at all so super cute and you know what I want to know I want to know who who was the genius that created the clear stamps so that you can actually see like the position of the standard where it's gonna go came up with that because that's that's genius right there I don't know who they are but I know they're they made hella money from that side good for them um all right so we've got that and then I found this which I'm super excited about I'm gonna be doing a live junk journal with me on Friday um so we're gonna do some of my last October junk journaling so I found this they're just adhesive borders 2.99 and they are so like I haven't I can't see through all of them because there's like several borders in here here's what you get I am going to open these up on the live though so I'm just going to keep it intact but just so you can kind of see I think these are amazing for two three dollars what then I picked up this these uh little notepad sets I also love these for Junk generally I mean you can really use anything and that's why I've just talked about it so much because it can be junky it doesn't have to be perfect it is so therapeutic like I just I don't even know what to say so these are great I mean I've even seen people use like you know you can use tickets and movie stubs and you can use I saw was it Rebecca Hoots but she plopped off like a label from and I don't know if it was her but somebody plopped off a label from their um blueberry packaging and it just looked so adorable like it's just the smallest little things and with these you get so many sheets I don't even know how many sheets you get in here but 75 75 sheets you could just you know pluck one off and put it in your junk Journal super cute I love how they come with a little pen set and I love how it has like the little shape and yeah these are fabulous also if you're just into other types of journaling like maybe you're into bullet journaling these are great too especially if you just do not like you know you're you're artistic talents like if you just don't feel like you're very good at drawing you can always use things like this and then they have like the little the little dots you know you can yeah so those would be really great for bullet journaling all right then I picked up a bunch of cards I love these as well for journaling and plus they're just beautiful they're beautiful to just you know decorate with I mean these could honestly be even cute as like a an ornament like if you were to just do kind of like a paper ornament tree like these would be so pretty for that sorry for the glare but this Nutcracker one is everything you get 10 in here for 4.99 I think I got I don't know if I got two of The Nutcracker or not but I also got this one it is just absolutely I feel like I feel like I don't want to do any editing on this part but I don't wanna I should have brought scissors in here so that I could just cut into this but we definitely have to see here we go I feel like the glare is just too much it's beautiful and you know what there's an additional layer and I can see that it's like a little pop-up which is really nice this also looks very vintage and I really like the size of this card it's very different so if you're kind of looking for something different as a mailer for like the family Christmas cards these little mini ones are kind of cute you know what would be also adorable Mike and I did this one year we took like a Polaroid of us and that's what we sent as our family photo so instead of like going to Shutterfly and and doing that whole thing we just took an at-home fun Polaroid and that's what we sent inside the card um so there's that and then I found this one and by the way these boxes are also stunning so save the boxes because they're just gonna be great to like put in your craft room or whatever 7.99 for this pack and it's assorted and I just love how darling this looks it kind of reminds me of um Mary inglebright which I've said several times about some of the cards I found at Tuesday morning but they are so cute here's what the inside looks like and they are stunning in person like these little cards with the yeah there's just this really s Beautiful Finish to it so there's that one and here's this one so these are the two that you get and you guys know I'm a sucker for like the whole night sky thing in cards like when it just looks like nighttime all right then I picked up this card of course I've just been gravitating towards anything vintage and this one is just stunning so this one's 7.99 as you can see it's a completely different box it doesn't have like the nice lid this one's just got the plastic thing going on but let's see if I can't get this card out of here without ruining it so well done it has a pop-up quality to it oh it's just it's gorgeous I love how much is going on in this card and I'm definitely going to be crafting with this so some of you if you've gonna order my kits you might get one of these cards in your kit so you never know it's a mystery kit FYI you just kind of don't know what you're gonna get you know like the basis of how much I think my kit comes with the journal and 45 pieces so there's like charms there's stickers there's cards it's really fun all right um I'm just gonna go and show you the bag and then I'll show you the rest of the cards I just had to get this like nighttime all right then I picked up this card of course I've just been gravitating towards anything vintage and this one is just stunning so this one's 7.99 as you can see it's a completely different box it doesn't have like the nice lid this one's just got the plastic thing going on but let's see if I can't get this card out of here without ruining it so well done it has a pop-up quality to it oh it's just it's gorgeous I love how much is going on in this card and I'm definitely going to be crafting with this so some of you if you've gonna order my kits you might get one of these cards in your kit so you never know it's a mystery kit FYI you just kind of don't know what you're gonna get you know like the basis of how much I think my kit comes with the journal and 45 pieces so there's like charms there's stickers there's cards it's really fun all right um I'm just gonna go and show you the bag and then I'll show you the rest of the cards I just had to get this Nutcracker bag I think I'm gonna do like a gingerbread theme in terms of wrapping gifts this year but I saw this bag and I was like this is one of those where I'm just gonna put it away and I'm one of those people where I love shopping bags even as a kid when we would go to the mall it was like this at the Dallas Gallery I don't know if and this I'm pretty sure yeah other malls did this too but you would pay like a quarter and you would get like one of those really nice shopping bags um and you could put all of your other shopping bags in it because now that I think about it I'm like what was the point of those bags at the stores gave you the bags but I remember my grandmother always going to put the quarter and getting the bag and we put the other stuff in the bag so anyways I think my love for bags have started since then and this was just one of those I had to get 4.99 so there's that all right back to the cards so I found this one I love any that like just have like a unique unique shape to them um I was actually trying to look for the ones that I hauled for my last Tuesday Morning video I'll link it down below go watch that if you just feel like you need more Tuesday morning from me and you'll see all those cards I was trying to find them again they're gone I'm gonna try another Tuesday morning and see if I can't find them but I love the little like tassel and this has like the whole dog crew which is so cute they're in the back of the red truck and I love how it's like decorated like this there's even a tree and presents so cute so if you're just like if you're like the person in your family that's like known to be like the dog lady or the dog people this would be cute this will also could be in a mystery um pack and then here is the swan actually the very last minute I put this one in my basket 7.99 but I was just like what am I doing this one's gorgeous um I want to pull this one out because I gotta see it in person like how many cards are in here this one has I'm gonna break this one 12 count but it's just so beautiful what do you think Loki he's not even looking at it I don't care all right then the very last one is this one I just thought it was really cute I liked the unique part on here on top so I'll show you because it's kind of like a double layer and I also really liked the colors on this one so this one's 66.99 and so that's what I mean like I thought that was just a really cool effect and I think this will look really great in my Christmas jump Journal my my December Journal so anyways that is actually it that's what I got it Tuesday morning I'm still I cannot believe these exist so if this is on your shopping list I am hoping that you guys find what you're looking for but I'm telling you Tuesday morning is such a gem of a store and it's almost in a way kind of like Dollar Tree like you can go to other Tuesday mornings and sometimes find very similar things like the same exact thing but sometimes you gotta hit up the different ones because you just one might have something the other doesn't have and I love stores like that so anyways I feel like I've talked your ear off and that's it thank you
