M2 MacBook Air - My Experience 3 Months Later ft reMarkable 2

**A Review of My New MacBook Air M2**

I recently started using my new MacBook Air with an M2 chipset, and I have to say that I'm thoroughly enjoying it. This laptop has been a game-changer for me, especially when it comes to office planning and workflow. I've always been a fan of using a notebook for brainstorming and outlining ideas, but this laptop has made it so much easier to stay organized.

One of the things I appreciate most about my MacBook Air is that it keeps everything in one place. No more digging through notebooks or scattered papers - everything is stored on the laptop's hard drive. Plus, having templates available means I can start with a clean slate every time, which has really helped me streamline my thoughts and focus on getting work done.

I've been using this laptop for a while now, and I have to say that it's become an essential tool in my office planning process. Whether I'm working on a project or just need to make some notes, this laptop is always by my side. The M2 chipset has also proved to be very reliable, with no stuttering or lagging even when running multiple tasks simultaneously.

Speaking of multitasking, the 13.6-inch display on my MacBook Air has been a revelation. I was concerned that it might be too small for me to get my work done, but I've found it to be perfect for editing videos, checking emails, and making spreadsheets. The screen is also incredibly sharp, with vivid colors and clear text - a huge improvement over my previous laptop.

One of the features that's really impressed me about this laptop is its camera. The 1080p webcam has made a big difference in my conference calls, allowing me to connect with colleagues and clients more easily. Plus, the display is just so much better than my old laptop - I can see every detail clearly, even when working on small text or images.

I've also been impressed by the battery life of this laptop. I've used it for hours at a time without needing to recharge, which is a huge advantage when I'm on the go. And when I do need to charge up, the Touch ID feature makes it so easy - no more fumbling with passwords or trying to find my charger.

Of course, one of the things that really sold me on this laptop was its performance. The M2 chipset is incredibly fast and efficient, making even the most demanding tasks a breeze. I've been able to edit 4K videos and run motion VFX plugins without any issues - it's truly amazing how seamless everything works.

**Travel Laptop**

For me, this MacBook Air has become my go-to travel laptop. It's lightweight, compact, and incredibly portable - making it the perfect companion for work on the go. I've been able to use it in coffee shops, airports, and even while traveling abroad, without any issues.

One of the things that's really impressed me about this laptop is its ability to handle lighter tasks with ease. Whether I'm checking emails, responding to messages, or working on spreadsheets, this laptop has made quick work of everything. It's also been a great tool for brainstorming and outlining ideas - the display is just so clear and intuitive.

**Sneak Peek at Upcoming Video**

If you're interested in learning more about my experience with this MacBook Air, I'll be sharing an in-depth review on video soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out a sneak peek of my filming setup, which I think will give you a sense of just how great this laptop is.

**Investment-Worthy**

For me, this MacBook Air has become an investment-worthy tool. It's not too expensive, but it's definitely worth every penny - especially considering the value it brings to my work and productivity. Whether you're a student, influencer, photographer, or just someone who needs a reliable laptop for everyday tasks, I think this is definitely worth checking out.

**Conclusion**

Overall, I've been thoroughly enjoying my experience with my MacBook Air M2. It's become an indispensable tool in my office planning process, and has really helped me streamline my workflow. Whether you're looking for a travel laptop or just need a reliable device for everyday tasks, I think this is definitely worth considering - so be sure to check it out and see if it's right for you!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhen it comes to taking a laptop on the go and keeping things light yet powerful the new M2 MacBook Air has been my go-to I personally like love the form factor of this like yes I have the 14 inch MacBook Pro it's just the lightweightness I can't even talk but it's just the lightweightness of this that I think makes me choose this over it on top of also the power found within it now I've been using this for the past few months and I've done an unboxing of it I've also done a recap of its release but in this video what I want to do is talk about my personal experience with it who's it for and also if I feel like it's worth buying so the way we're going to go about doing this is to take somewhat of a sneak peek at a day in my life over time with the new M2 MacBook Air so I like to start my day when I can with a cup of coffee as I work now I'm personally one of those that when I'm typically getting a computer I like to like maximize everything that I possibly can especially the storage because I don't like to work off of an external drive you know I like to keep everything as you know Compact and minimal in terms of the setup as far possible so I'm trying to reduce that cable clutter or just attachments to the computer in general so yeah I'm definitely a big fan of you know as much internal storage as I possibly can but prior to using this I was using my 14 inch M1 MacBook Pro and I will say it's just as powerful as this one but it's just not as light or thin in design as this one which for me is a key selling feature because granted this is 2.7 pounds I want to say and the 14 inch MacBook Air is more so around like 3.5 pounds for me I'll say it's a noticeable difference when I have something like this in my backpack now it does come in a few different color options which range from Starlight space gray silver and midnight which is honestly my personal favorite and it's the color option in which I have here the one thing though that I will say that I don't don't that I don't like is how much of a fingerprint magnet it is but I mean that's you know just finding something to kind of pick apart but it definitely does pick up all on your fingertips really easily and really bad so you're going to want to keep like a cloth near to keep it wiped down just so you can enjoy the beauty of it a bit more but that's also a unique thing about this it has kind of like a bluish grayish tint so like at certain angles it looks more blue and other angles it looks more like a smoky gray so to me it's a very unique color which I personally like Port wise we do have two Thunderbolt ports along the side with the magsafe charging here so this is magnetized and I like the fact that this comes with like a braided cable that is color matched to the computer so it's a nice unique look and on the opposite side we just have a headphone jack yeah definitely missing that SD card slot that's found on the 14 inch MacBook Pro I sometimes will forget the adapter and that's my Saving Grace to know that it's already integrated in it so if this had that man it would make this even more top tier for me but one thing I will say that I noticed in using this is that I was more inclined to get my work done on the go I know I'm probably going to annoy y'all with how much I'm saying this but I just love how light it is it's light you know somewhat of a more powerful iPad dare I say for the whole different ecosystem I want to take a moment because something else I really like with the MacBook Air is just kind of honing in on its travel friendliness so uh like right now I have my phone with me and I'm getting emails and things like that about things that I need to complete so it's nice to just be able to like keep this in here with me and easily just prop down ignore the mess in the back but just plop down right here and while I'm in here you know just go ahead and grab this and handle what I need to so super lightweight and just makes it super good it just makes it more convenient so yeah as you can probably see in that last clip there was a lot going on in the background because you know I was working on organizing my filming space at that time and I will say one of the last things when I'm doing that that I want to have to manage is a bulky computer setup or a setup period and at times I found that I did want something a little bit more simpler than this when I was doing tasks like that so when remarkable reached out to partner with me it was just like perfect timing all right so the plan for today is to organize and get together my filling space this has been a project that has been ongoing I have never taken this long to get settled settled but I will say when it comes to organizing and getting myself together in there I'm using a couple of things now to get me going one of those things is my phone here as well as my computer to like research different things and also shop in the moment when I need something but when I don't need that and I more so want to like do note taking and designing that is when this comes in this is the remarkable two and if you're not familiar with it it's more like an electronic version of your traditional notebook so you get rid of the pen and paper and replace it with this and big thank you as well too remarkable for not only sponsoring the video but also for supporting the channel and my workflow so one thing that I gotta say that I really like here is being able to like pick it up and write as I would with any other pen and paper so what I found myself doing is like first starting off by mapping the room and then plotting out where everything's going to be and I'm glad that it's really easy to erase my mistakes by just flipping the stylus over as I would a pencil so using it feels very natural and intuitive as I do mess up quite a bit in this particular stage especially like I said The Stylist pretty much feels like a pencil and due to the e-ink technology it doesn't feel strange when I'm writing with it it actually feels very natural and I don't have to worry about where I place my palm or my hand on the screen as it doesn't interfere with my writing at all from the home screen we can access any of the notebooks that I've made like the one that I use for office planning or if any of us are pressed for time and we don't want to dig within any of the notebooks we can always just fire up a quick sheet and use that instead but I'll say personally I like this better than pen and paper because everything is kept together in one central place and I love that it has templates as well so I'm not limited to a blank page to always start with so I'll say for me out of all the templates that they have I typically use the storyboard and the checklist options the most but I'm really enjoying how this has helped bring better focus by eliminating certain distractions and also giving me a more efficient workflow by allowing me to like streamline my thoughts in one central location but I'll say if you're interested in learning more about the remarkable 2 I'll have it linked down below for you in the description box so you can check it out but of course you might have saw the little sneak peek there at the filming spaces that's coming along so I do have a video that's going to go in depth about my filming here and my setup but one thing I'll say for me is that each device in which I use serves its own purpose in my life and this one I would say is definitely what I'm pointing as my travel laptop I've been able to successfully edit 4K videos on this use my motion VFX plugins and of course you know be able to handle like lighter tasks such as emails documents spreadsheets and that type of thing which I do want to point out when it comes to using something like this 13.6 inch display I've been fine and honestly sometimes on the go that's been one of my concerns like if this screen is going to be you know enough for me to get my tasks done and I've enjoyed it I haven't had any issues and you know we got to talk about the notch up here ah I'll say I I don't know I don't really notice it and that's probably has a lot to do with the way Apple makes apps work with it so that sometimes it Blends in better and becomes a part of the bezel so to speak but um it hasn't been an eyesore or a reason in which I would want to switch over to a different computer so right now it's cool Plus on top of that it houses the new 1080p camera so I have better picture quality especially during things like my conference calls but overall the picture quality and Clarity from the display looks great colors have been accurately represented and I haven't found myself annoyed at the workspace in which I have here to get my edits done which says a lot because I'm mostly docked at home to a 49 inch monitor so you know that's a big difference and I haven't found myself like frustrated you know when I am just limited to the 13.6 inch screen now Touch ID is found up here as well and it works great I haven't had any issues with response time and such the battery life is one thing I think the MacBook Air is just known for and it doesn't disappoint here either I've been able to edit videos check my emails even have a one hour long video call up here off of a single charge so in those scenarios where you know I forget my charging adapter and I happen to go out with this I feel pretty confident that it's not going to die on me especially if it's fully charged up another thing that got improved on the new Macbook Air are its speakers so those perform notably better as well as the mic I want to say but yeah if you cannot tell I have been enjoying this new Macbook Air the M2 chipset inside has just been buttered like I haven't had any issues I found myself frustrated because it's stuttering to keep up with what I'm trying to do which says a lot because that means I'm able to successfully run my business off of this computer if and when need be so yes but all my content creators out there that you know might be shooting 4K or 1080p video you will be fine in using this and getting your work done so I see this as a great option for influencers photographers students someone that needs like what I would I guess equate as a mid-tier but definitely top of the mid tier type of computer I can see this being one of those that you know you keep around for a while like a good investment but I'm going to link this down below in the description box for you so you can check it out but but yeah overall I definitely have been enjoying my experience with it I don't have too many complaints until the next one y'all drop your questions down below that you might have that I may not have touched on in this video and as always thanks for taking the time out to let me check you outwhen it comes to taking a laptop on the go and keeping things light yet powerful the new M2 MacBook Air has
