**Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro: First Impressions**

I recently had the opportunity to set up my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and I'm excited to share my initial impressions with you. As expected, the device comes with four or six gigabytes of RAM and 64 or 128 gigabytes of storage, depending on the variant. The quad-camera setup is impressive, with a 48-megapixel Sony GM2 sensor as the main camera, followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and two megapixels for depth sensing.

**Front-Facing Camera and Battery**

The front-facing camera features a 16-megapixel sensor with a punch-hole notch design. The battery is a 5000mAh unit, paired with an 18W fast charger. This should provide decent power management and quick charging capabilities. As I set up the device, I noticed that it has some pre-installed apps that I could disable to declutter the home screen.

**Software and Features**

Upon booting up the device, I was greeted by Android 10 out of the box on the higher-end variant with 128 gigabytes of storage. The layout is clean and intuitive, with a modern design that's typical of Xiaomi devices. One notable feature is the digital wellbeing section, which provides insights into your screen time and other habits to help you stay productive.

**Screen Quality and Hardware**

The device features an IPS LCD screen with good brightness and color accuracy. I also noticed that the fingerprint sensor has been improved, allowing for quick and secure biometric authentication. Additionally, the haptic motor has been enhanced, providing a more satisfying typing experience.

**Camera Capabilities (Spoiler Alert!)**

As much as I'd like to share some camera samples, I'm bound by an embargo agreement that prevents me from sharing photos taken with this device... at least for now! Rest assured that I'll be sharing my thoughts on the camera capabilities of the Redmi Note 9 Pro in a future video.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is available in India, and it's likely to appeal to those looking for a mid-range device with impressive specs. here on the screen when I know and guys I'll be up front generally in my boxing videos you also see camera samples but if I want to post a video to on 12 we can't post the camera samples so I won't be posting the camera samples and barbers and really silly so I'll post the camera samples and other stuff later on so anyways let's open this up then it's part by the Snapdragon 720 GSoC and guys I'm expecting that the pricing will be about 15 to max of about sixteen thousand because we have the poco x2 at sixteen thousand that's with the Snapdragon 730 GSoC so anyways here we have this and let's open this up so we have the sim ejector tool over here and we also get a case some paperwork and this is the black color one hence we have the darker colored case so I'll just keep this to this side but and here we have the handset itself and we have this they call it the dark values a black but I would call it like in creation color as you can see why did they put the stickers I hope she does yeah looks much better if it is clean like this and the back is glass guys and we have that quad camera set up interesting we come back to the device later on and let's see what else not much would be there it's a Xiaomi device so USB type-c cable that we are getting as you can see USB type-c cable and charger and this is supposed to meet her 18 what fast charger eyes so that's what we get in the box not much so let me keep this to the side and let's look at the handset itself and we also have one more so to peel off so that comes out and this having a six one six seven inch screen let me give you a physical overview we still have the IR blaster so that's good we can control remote in air conditioners I mean TVs etc with this one you also have a secondary noise cancellation microphone over here and the back is glass guys I believe you in the back glasses Gorilla Glass five in the front is obviously Gorilla Glass five then we have the volume rocker and build quality initial impressions feels to be good and we again have this what do you say this is the power button and the fingerprint test kind of that we have seen a lot these days so we have that set up and on the bottom we have a single speaker player USB type-c port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack and here we have the sentry and guys it looks premium feels premium I would say the glass combination and the finish what they have done definitely they have done a good job in terms of finish let's open this up should be a triple start because the base Whalen comes with just 64gb of storage yes I need a triple slot so that's actually nice and we do have that camera hundreds of quad cameras set up forty eight megapixel so it is actually resting on the camera so again as you can see so that wobble is there anyways let's try to power this on and I hope it has some charge and by the time it actually boots up and I set it up here is a configuration overview this redmi note 9 pro is having a six point six seven inch full HD familiar stuff as you can see over here and welcome to the me browser and all those things so if you just swipe like this its opening the me browser and if we go over here we have some quick toggles and stuff and if you go under the hoard as you can see if we go to about the device first it will be over here meanwhile 11 as I've totally and that is essentially Android 10 out of the box that you are getting as you can see and this just go back and this is the higher-end variant that comes with 128 gigabytes of storage so as you can see all of that 128 gigabytes you'll give about 107.7 gigabytes but I feel storage should not be an issue because we have that dedicated micro SD card slot and again guys with this 128 gigabyte waiting you get that 6 gigabyte of RAM version with the 64 you get 4 gigabyte sohara and this is typical me why I won't get into it I would say and now it's a lot more cleaner and layout and all those things and we also have the digital wellbeing and all those things and if you go back over here and the screen quality looks to be good its IPS LCD screen and we have the fingerprint scanner over here this is even a physical power of button but if you just keep your finger on it you don't have to even press it guys it unlocks as you can see and the speed is good you don't have to actually you can press it also but you don't have to if you just put your finger over here it unlocks oh that is nice and I mean some chunk is there not a lot about yeah only some for example let's it would happen for Kenny and install it yes you can uninstall some of the junk that is sort of pre-installed so that's what you have typical me you why guys and one thing that I note where the while setting of the devices that looks like the haptic motor has been improved because when I was the setting of the device and typing etc the keyboard layout maintenance you can set what you want the haptic feedback is a lot more improved compared to many of the mid-range a smartphone so looks like Xiaomi improve the haptic feedback on this one and as this is the new Snapdragon 720 GSoC this also has support for nav ik that is the Indian a GPS satellite apart from that it has the regular GPS and GLONASS but it also has support for navikev so that's interesting and looks like typical Xiaomi device guys again while we're setting up be careful you will see some an and here also you will see some extra stuff like this app security and all these things but you can go over here and disable it if you want as you can see right here you do get those stuff
