The Host Reflects on Last Week's Show
I'm very happy with last week's show. I got well and remember afterwards when the show went, producers always do you run and go - I'm not interested if there's any text there. Had one from Martin Brundle saying brilliant show. Um, I had another couple from friends who just watched it and laughed their socks off. A woman who works at ITV and I'm you know we're out against them - she said she giggled off the sofa so um very happy they were all saying that was a cracking Top Gear. Thank you and goodbye this week.
The Show's Mixture of Topics
This week is a bit of a mixture, cuz we're taking on some uh help for hero soldiers. We have built some mobility scooters but for off-road on a budget - they do exist as off the shelf product so we have a fantastic race with those guys. That's all three of them are in that James' needed work Jeremy's needed work Richard's needed silencing - oh policeman got to be careful, the speed limit I'm only allowed to do 4 miles hour in built-up areas, that's more than four you the speed, the speed and um carwise Ferrari FF and the new V8 Bentley which is we're not on the track this week.
Taking the Cars Up to ARG Plug
We're not on the track this week - we're taking them up to ARG plug. This amazing test track in Sweden where all the manufacturers go to test their cars in winter. They built a replica of Silverstone on an ice lake, our replica so what you know we got on the plane - we got the cars up there and that is a stoning film. I'm on Ice, I've got the traction control off and I'm doing 100 m hour yeah that's what I'm doing and then James is driving the Fisa in Florida which looks beautiful.
The Design of the Fisa
The company that makes it was set up not by an engineer as usual but by a designer now he was responsible for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the BMW Z8 Roadster. Obviously, he knows his way around a pencil - he drove that we told him to just test it. He ends up going to see Brian Johnson, which is the first car thing I've ever seen that actually looks like the drawings you say before that actually come out isn't it? It's good looking, isn't it? Really is a cracking-looking Fisa.
Excitement for Upcoming Events
James test with brainy stuff tail out action in Sweden and um a big race with the soldiers up mountains and stuff so very excited. I hope it matches last week's - we'll just have to wait and see.
