I'm Dreaming a White Christmas: Countdown to Christmas 2023 - Day Eight

As I pull into McDonald's, I'm excited to start my day with a nice nutritious American meal. It's 2:30 and I've had nothing to eat all day, so I'm looking forward to refueling. The anticipation is building up for the next gift in our countdown to Christmas, but today might be a bit of an adjustment after the surprise gifts from days two through seven.

Looking back at the postcard that was our first gift, I have to admit it's quite an interesting size considering it's just a standard postcard. But yes, those first seven days have been amazing, and I'm curious to see what day eight will bring. The momentum might slow down a bit today, but I know not every day can be huge winners. So, let's get started and see if this day will surprise me or not.

As I grab my water from Smart Water, brought to you by the lovely company with their "cucumber lime aftertaste," I have to say I'm feeling a bit of uncertainty about today's gift. Am I going to love it or hate it? Will it be something that'll make me go "wow" or just another ordinary gift? The unknown is always exciting, and I'm embracing the thrill of not knowing what's in store for me.

The Advent calendar I have is a Moose glass that holds eggnog, which is actually quite cool. Years ago, Kristen gifted it to me, and I still remember unwrapping it at the Colonial Diner during my birthday Vlog. Those were some good times, and now this little mug brings back so many memories. It's funny how something as small as a mug can evoke such strong emotions.

As I look around, I have to chuckle at people who might think I'm doing shots with this water. But no, folks, it's just water – or is it? With the Smart Water label, there's that hint of cucumber lime aftertaste, making me wonder if it's really "just" water or something more special.

Anyway, I want to thank all my viewers for watching day eight, and I must say, this exceeded my expectations. It was a nice surprise after the uncertainty of not knowing what to expect. And that means we're moving on to day nine – another gift to unwrap!
