Candy Monkey Ring Toss - Whatcha Eating #168

W You Eating Today: A Candy Review and Carnival Memories

Greetings! Welcome back to W You Eating today! I'm Emy, and I'll be sharing with you my latest candy review and some fun memories from carnivals. Today, we're going to dive into a delicious Japanese candy called Doy DOI Poisar Namori So Noori.

This candy is made by the same makers of Po and Cooking, and they also have a series of candies called Pona. I'm not sure what it was called, but you can find individual grapes or orange wedges for sale, along with this fun ring toss-like game featuring candy monkeys. The candy itself is a type of POI, which means "forest" in Japanese, with the word "sar" meaning monkey.

To set up this candy game, we need to take off these two sides and then fold them up to create a stage that will pop out little tabs where the candies will hook onto. Once we have all the hooks punched up, we'll interlock the base by connecting cute little bunnies and squirrels (I'm not sure what one is supposed to be, but I think it's a squirrel!).

The game works with two players taking turns hooking monkeys on either side without tipping them over. The goal is to get all 10 candies onto the stage, which we managed to do! The candy itself smells like pineapple and tastes like Ramin candy, similar to Sweet Tarts, but with a fruity intensity that's hard to resist.

In terms of texture, it's a bit chewy, but also fluffy, like a circus peanut or dried out marshmallow. I love this candy and think you will too! If you're wondering what your favorite carnival memory is, let me know in the comments below.

Now, let's talk about making these candies into fun shapes. You can use any color you like, and for Valentine's Day, I decided to make pink bears with little candy heart bow ties on them. They're made out of sprinkles, but feel free to omit or decorate to your heart's content!

Next, we have another exciting video about W You Eating Today! As always, thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in my next video. Take care, and happy eating!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: engreetings hi it's Emy welcome back to another W you eating today I'll be eating this Japanese candy it's called doy DOI poisar namori so noori means the woods or like the forest saru is monkey and POI is the type of candy this is made by the same makers of Po and cooking and they also have a series of candies I think it was called pona I forget actually up with the link down below where you can eat the individual grapes or you can eat the little individual orange wedges so this is kind of like a ring toss kind of balance game and it involves candy monkeys I should also mention I have not cut my hair it's just tucked behind my ears and I should also mention that I picked this up the last time I was in Los Angeles and I'll put that information down below okay let's go ahead and make this so inside this candy we have this so we have this cardboard stand take these two sides off put those to a side and then this stage we're going to fold this up and fold this up and pop out these little tabs right here and extend them because that's where the candy is going to hook on to all right so once once we have all the little hooks punched up then we're going to interlock the base like this next we take these two sides cute little bunny and a little I'm not sure what that is raccoon not sure not a raccoon that's probably a squirrel to the bunny to the Bunny and the squirrel to the squirrel all right same on this side bunny and S push those in well so now it rocks and I'm going to say it rocks very well oh it smells very pineapple so inside that bag are lots of little candies let's see how many they give you 2 4 6 8 10 candies and they're very cute look it's like a monkey with a monkey tail so the way this game works is I think you can play with two people and it's a little balance game so you can hook a monkey on one side and the other person hooks it on the other side and the point is to hook them on without tipping it over like that so I lose let's do it again one side the other side one side other side let's see if I can get them all on ta so we managed to get all 10 on there very cute very simple candy game very cute little monkey and let's give that a taste here we go it's the lucky malls M mhm this is delicious it tastes like Ramin candy which again tastes kind of like Sweet Tarts and a little bit pineapple but not like pineapple Fanta and in terms of texture it's like a a chew but it's a little bit fluffy sort of like a circus peanut a little bit like a dried out marshmallow but a little more chewier just like
