The Allure of the Ferrari F40: A Potential Investment Opportunity

As I sit here staring at this incredible color, I'm tempted to get it and completely butcher it with a wide-body kit. The idea of putting my money into a car that's straight to the point - a race car for the street - is appealing. The F40, in particular, seems like an attractive option. Its design is sleek and aggressive, with a front splitter that rivals mine. I can almost imagine myself driving this car, feeling its power and speed.

But then reality sets in. I'm not sure if I can afford this car. It's out of my budget, and the thought of taking on debt to buy it is daunting. My wife might even kick me out of the house if she finds out about my financial struggles. And what would be the point of buying a car that I wouldn't be able to enjoy? It's not like I'd be using it for racing or track days - just everyday driving.

On the other hand, some people seem to appreciate the F40 for its unique qualities and potential value appreciation. They see it as an opportunity to invest in a limited-edition car that could increase in value over time. The Scuderia, another model by Ferrari, is mentioned as a comparable investment opportunity, albeit with some caveats.

My colleagues have expressed skepticism about investing in cars, citing their tendency to depreciate rapidly and lose value over time. However, the F40 has an interesting history - it was originally intended to be a lightweight supercar, but production numbers were higher than expected. This could lead to increased demand and, potentially, appreciation in value.

One of my colleagues mentioned that this is not the first time I've considered buying a car with the intention of selling it for profit. They jokingly suggest that I might have a knack for investing in cars, although so far, I haven't had much success with this strategy. The Scuderia, however, seems like a more promising investment opportunity - having driven it and experiencing its performance firsthand has given me a better understanding of its value.

As I ponder this idea, I'm reminded of my love for wine. My wife has introduced me to a new brand, Prisoner, which I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys red wine. Maybe owning an F40 will be like investing in a fine wine - it's a risk, but the potential rewards could be significant.

In other news, I recently had dinner with my colleagues and mentioned that I'd found our first investment car. The conversation turned to the hosts of this vlog, who seem to be getting a kick out of my misadventures. One of them jokingly offered to bring over some gifts - in this case, a bottle of Prosecco for my wife.

As we wrap up dinner and say our goodbyes, I realize that owning an F40 is still just a dream at this point. However, it's nice to know that I have the support of my colleagues and friends behind me. And who knows? Maybe one day I'll make some money off of this car - or at least break even.

which is what corrected the problem I had with the sony a7s 2 now we're gonna go next door and check out the owner who bought us dinner at the restaurant free Oh check notice koenings egg yeah I still own the restaurant on to koenings eggs one CCX but there's a new big gun in town and it is the sony a nine now this has insane low light capabilities apparently the autofocus has been corrected and a local shop here carousel cameras had on another location because they're sold out all over the place already even though this is like a six thousand dollar camera and they brought it over so I could have a look at it we're gonna go get hands-on with them right now I'm also going to go buy Silver Arrow because I don't want to ruin the surprise so let's just get let's get out there we're in the market to look for another car for DD so I don't know if the Huracan is gonna stick around or if we're gonna get rid of it or what you guys can leave some comments as to what you think we should do keep the Huracan or what other car should we get next so we're gonna go to Silver Arrow and check out a few options some and that might even shock you waiting for a battery to charge so we can test would definitely be a tire slip you know parallel parking a Lambo is actually not as hard as it would appear out of a lot of supercars has quite a few blind spots but parallel parking once you get the feel of the circumference of this car and the rear view camera parallel parking is quite easy unless you just suck at parallel parking in general what's that yeah I do I would get slaughtered if I didn't have that front plate on I get home from the states and I take it off when I'm in Cali because no one cares down there first day back I get hit every time so daily driven exotics is also in the market for another supercar see what four five eight should I take up four five eight guys and build another wide-body GT car like my last one a lot of people like that car should I do it should I get another four or five eight drop a comment what if we went crazier what if we went tyre slayer 3.0 I'm scared of the clutch in this thing not of driving it but the way I Drive it having to replace it cuz I heard the clutch in these cars are like big big money we don't have any convertibles in the garage what about a Porsche cab I like this I like this because it's got the center locks it's got a blocked out wheel I like the dark grey oh it's got PDK through a twin clutch if they were selling this is a customer's car but if they were selling this I'd be down this is such an incredible color to look at that I could get this and then completely butcher it by putting a rwb wide body kit on it right or should I just seriously bite the bullet and get the f40 f40 for the DD garage I'd be so broke if I bought this car I'd probably have to sleep in this car for two reasons my wife would kick me out of the house and I wouldn't be able to afford anything else I am kind of like I know that I'm kind of stupid enough to do something like that it's just everything about this car is just straight to the point it's a race car for the street the one car I wouldn't have to lure I mean already that more limited but it wasn't explained it wasn't one of Ferraris more better marketed lightweight supercars it's the car that they ended up actually making more than they thought they were gonna make and it was the 16m the spider version that they actually made less of so the 16m appreciated at a much better rate than the Scuderia did it'll get me wrong the Scuderia is still at a great price point but we also have driven the out of that car and so all those miles and all the hard driving on that car also kind of evens it out that's the closest I have ever been the Scuderia to owning an investment when it came to cars I've never owned a car that I've made any money off of I've always broken even at best or typically lost some money so we're looking to change that and we just thought this might be a fun opportunity to buy a car and see if we can't make a few bucks off of it and you guys get to follow along and see how the story goes well the f40 is kind of the first car we were thinking about buying for an investment it's in the price range that we could barely afford but nonetheless we could probably make it happen play our cards right when you take this car back to market
