**Hunt: A Competitive FPS That Deserves More Attention**
It's no secret that Hunt is an inventive, intense, and unique competitive First-Person Shooter (FPS) game on Steam. With its guns pulled straight out of civil war documentaries and western films, it's a game that stands out from the rest. Despite its impressive features, however, it only attracts around 17,000 daily players on PC. Perhaps this is because you can shoot dogs in the game, but speculation aside, Hunt deserves to blow up like a good old barrel of TNT - nice boom!
**We Were Here: An Excellent Co-op Campaign**
We Were Here is an excellent co-op campaign about escaping from a castle full of puzzles. The entire We Were Here series are some of the best co-op games on PC, and the first one is completely free. Castle Rock is chock-full of head-scratching escape room puzzles, requiring players to communicate via walkie-talkie to swap clues while separated. This game is perfect if you're really hungry for co-op games, as it's a friendship-testing twist on puzzling. The developers have done well enough to make four of these games, but they're not nearly as well-known as they deserve to be.
**Total Mayhem: A Co-op Focused Game**
Co-op focused game Total Mayhem is easy to pick up and play with a friend. Each level has you hopping around one room trying to complete tasks and avoid obstacles. Completing the level under the time limit rewards players with more currency to spend on cosmetic unlockables, such as aviator glasses and a suit of armor. Kiwi's simplicity and room for disaster within its increasingly complex levels is exactly why it's a great game to flip on with a friend over Discord.
**Hong Kong Impact: An Action RPG**
Hong Kong Impact is an action RPG with an Evangelion-inspired storyline that makes Genshin Impact look like a Saturday morning cartoon. Gen Impact wouldn't have existed without Hong Kong Impact and Houya vs Older gacha game features similar third-person combat with arena-clearing abilities and character switching. However, this game is wrapped up in a more adult storyline. It's still a gacha game, so it's understandable why it hasn't nearly exploded in the West. Its level-based structure allows for its combat to be satisfying much earlier than Gen Impact's combat.
**Escape Simulator: A First-Person Escape Room Game**
Escape Simulator isn't that old of a game but it seems like people forgot it's out there. It's a first-person escape room game full of intricate puzzles and drops you into a room that you have to solve your way out of. The puzzles range from simple math problems to obtuse pictograph translations in some ways, it feels designed for players to have some friends around to bounce ideas off of. I did an escape room once and I've been trapped here ever since. There's a demo available if you want to give it a shot before buying it in. It shows how much of the game is interested in forcing you to keep track of every little thing that surrounds you.
**Under the Radar Games You Should Check Out**
Those are some under-the-radar games you should definitely check out, just like me. They're begging to be in the spotlight and could do with some love.
