Introduction to Anker's 10,000 Milliamp Power Core 2

Hi everyone Aaron here for zolote and this is anker's 10,000 milliamp power core 2. This is their super slim battery to charge your iPhone your Galaxy phone whatever you might have so let's take a look at it.

The Power Core 2 Slim: A Sleek and Portable Solution

It's pretty inexpensive and it's an improvement on their power core 1. It's $32.99 currently on Amazon and I'll leave a link in the description below. It's not a sponsored video but they were nice enough to send this along and you'll see immediately it says 10,000 milliamp hours right here and it's pretty small and portable.

The Design of the Power Core 2 Slim

So on the bottom here we have a button to show us the actual charge status. On this side we have a micro USB to charge it, a regular USB-A to actually charge your device, and then around the sides nothing else on the bottom you've got this I don't know if you can see that but it says anchor and it's rubberized so it will stick to whatever surface you're on. And then the rest is plastic.

Inside the Box: What You Can Expect

Now let's take a look at the rest of the things inside the box what you get with this is a little carrying case pouch and the charge cable. So you've got your USB-A to USB or micro USB, and then you've got a little carrying case for it pretty much what they include with everything.

The Power Core 2 Slim's Portability and Size

The nice thing is this is pretty small. This is my iPhone 7 plus and next to it you can see it's thick obviously but it's not so thick that you couldn't throw it in a wallet or something like that and bring it along with you.

Charging Times: How Long Will It Take?

Now if you have an iPhone 7 this will charge that three times with the seven plus. Uh probably about two times you'll get Char uh charge-wise out of this. Now something like the Galaxy S8 S7, the S7 will charge twice the S8 Plus for example will charge probably one and a half times to two times based on its battery size so you've got an extra battery and a half with you when you're using something like this.

Fast Charging: Quickening Up Your Device

You also have the ability to charge at a very fast rate. This will charge an S7 for example, and just an hour and a half because it charges at its fastest possible speed with this particular IQ Port according to Anchor now in 1 and a half hours with an S7 probably an iPhone 7 since they don't have true quick charge or anything like that. Probably a couple of hours to fully charge that but you can quickly charge whatever you have so you plug in your iPhone lightning cable or your USBC cable whatever you might have we'll plug this in and you'll see it immediately starts charging.

Setting Up Your Power Core 2 Slim

So, how do you set up this thing? It's pretty straightforward. You just plug it into a power source, let it charge overnight, get ready for your trip the next day and you're good to go with your iPhone or whatever device you have.
