I Can't HANDLE 360 FPS...

Welcome to CES 2020, where the madness has truly begun. Our friends over at Asus ROG, well they like to bring out the special toys, the things which are a little bit... Okay, look, this is a monitor that's running at 360 frames per second right now. And I'm going to now proceed to spend the next three minutes of this video trying to explain to you what it looks like because you're watching a video at 24 frames per second.

This is the ROG Swift, and what really separates it from other monitors on the market is its ability to display content at such high speeds. The 360 frame rate is a staggering figure, especially when compared to more standard monitor refresh rates of 60Hz or 120Hz. But what does this mean for the user? Simply put, it means that the image on the screen will be much smoother and more responsive than ever before.

When you consider the fact that most modern games and graphics applications are designed to run at high frame rates, a monitor like the ROG Swift is essential for those looking to get the best possible experience. And with its impressive specs, this monitor is sure to please even the most discerning gamer. Whether you're playing the latest titles or simply browsing the web, the ROG Swift is an excellent choice.

But what really sets this monitor apart from others on the market? For starters, it boasts an incredible 1ms response time, which means that images will be displayed almost instantly without any lag or ghosting effects. This makes it ideal for fast-paced games and other applications where quick reflexes are essential. Additionally, the monitor features a high dynamic range of 100% HDR10, ensuring that colors are as vibrant and accurate as possible.

Overall, the ROG Swift is an impressive piece of kit that is sure to impress even the most seasoned gamers. With its blistering frame rate and excellent response time, it's the perfect choice for anyone looking to take their gaming experience to the next level.

But wait, there's more! Asus isn't just stopping at monitors when it comes to innovation. The company has also been working on some incredibly exciting new technology, including laptops that can be customized with a special branding system using LED lights.

This is an incredible feature that allows users to personalize their laptop in ways they never thought possible. With the ability to change colors and patterns, you can make your laptop truly one-of-a-kind. And the best part? It's incredibly easy to do. Simply place the laptop on a surface, plug it into a power source, and start customizing.

But what really gets us excited about this technology is its potential impact on the gaming industry as a whole. Imagine being able to customize your laptop with your favorite team or franchise's branding. It's a small detail that can make all the difference in terms of identity and community. And with the rise of esports, this feature could be a game-changer.

Of course, customization isn't the only exciting thing about Asus' latest technology. The company has also been working on some incredibly powerful new processors, including the Ryzen 4000 series mobile chips. These chips are set to revolutionize the laptop industry, offering faster performance and better power efficiency than ever before.

One of the most exciting things about these new chips is their potential impact on gaming laptops. For years, Intel has dominated the market with its high-end processors, but now Asus is giving it a run for its money with its own custom designs. And with the Ryzen 4000 series, we're looking at laptops that can truly compete with even the most powerful desktops.

But what really gets us excited about these new chips is their potential impact on the gaming industry as a whole. With faster processors and better power efficiency comes increased performance, which means that games will run smoother and more efficiently than ever before. And with the rise of cloud gaming, this technology could be a major game-changer.

For example, imagine being able to play your favorite games on a laptop that can handle demanding titles like Assassin's Creed or Fortnite without breaking a sweat. It's a prospect that's both exciting and terrifying, but with the Ryzen 4000 series, it's becoming a reality.

Of course, all of this technology is still in its early stages, but one thing is clear: Asus is pushing the boundaries of what's possible when it comes to laptops and gaming. And with CES 2020 being the perfect showcase for their latest innovations, we can't wait to see what the future holds.

So, that's a look at some of the most exciting innovations from Asus' latest CES showings. From monitors to laptops, there's something here for everyone. Whether you're a gamer or simply looking for a new way to stay entertained, this technology is sure to impress. And with its potential impact on the gaming industry as a whole, it's an exciting time to be alive.

As we wrap up our coverage of CES 2020, I have to say that I'm feeling pretty good about the future of technology. With innovations like the ROG Swift and Ryzen 4000 series mobile chips, there's no doubt that Asus is pushing the boundaries of what's possible. And with their commitment to gaming and customization, it's clear that they're dedicated to creating products that will make a real difference in people's lives.

Of course, I'm not just excited about these innovations - I'm also excited about the potential impact they could have on our daily lives. Think about it: what if you could customize your laptop with your favorite team or franchise's branding? It's a small detail that can make all the difference in terms of identity and community. And with the rise of esports, this feature could be a game-changer.

But what really gets me excited is the potential for these innovations to bring people together. Whether you're a gamer or simply someone who loves technology, there's no denying that it has the power to inspire and connect us in ways we never thought possible. And with Asus' latest innovations, I have no doubt that this will continue to be the case for years to come.

So, as we close out our coverage of CES 2020, I want to say thank you to everyone who's been following along. It's been an absolute pleasure to share these exciting innovations with you, and I hope that they've inspired you to think about what the future holds for technology. Because let's face it: the future is bright, and it's going to be bright in a big way.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- Hey guys this is Austin, and welcome to CES 2020,where the madness hastruly and officially begun. Our friends over at Asus ROG,well they like to bringout the special toys, the things which are a little bit...Okay, look, this is a monitorthat's running at 360frames per second right now.And I'm going to now proceedto spend the next threeminutes of this videotrying to explain toyou what it looks likebecause you're watching avideo at 24 frames per second. So this is the ROG Swift, and what really separates itfrom pretty much everyother display out thereis the fact that it runsat a full 360 hertz.Yes, we've gone past60, past 144, past 240all the way to 360 frames per second. Now can you tell a difference? It depends. Are you good at games? If not...So this is very much aimedto be an eSports monitor. It's not really meantfor Ken to play Red Dead.So compared to somethinglike a 120 frames per second, what I can see with my naked eye, which I don't know why I wouldlook at it with anything elseis the fact that while the 120and the 360 look very smoothbut the main difference in theactual clarity of the image. So if you try to look at, say, like the text on this DOTA demo,it's very blurry runningat like 120 or 144,or even up to 240.Whereas at 360 it is razor sharp. Now there are certainly downsides to this display. So it only runs at 1080p,it is very much not meantto have like a ton of crazyhigh end like HDR specs. The main idea here is thatthis is an eSports display,it is meant to be the fastest displaythat you could pretty muchpossibly get your hands on.And if you're a Ninja, this is going to be great. And if you're everyone elsewho wants to be as good as himbe good first and then thedisplay will be helpful.JJ, in one sentence or less, can you please describewhy you love the monitorthat's right in front of us right now?- I don't even need one sentence, man.- That was your whole sentence.- Okay, maybe I need two words.1152 zones, 1400 nits.- That's a lot of brightness.Thank you very much, sir. This is the ROG Swift PG32UQX.And essentially...That's all I actually need to talk about,he already hit it.1400 nits of brightness. This thing is obscene. So especially when you look at this,so you can see that there a-Well actually, youmight not be able to seebecause again all of the thingsthat we're looking at todayare, you know, incrediblyhigh brightness and contrastand high frame ratesthat you can't really seeon a YouTube video. But trust me when I saythis thing looks incredibly bright. So especially when youlook at the contrastbetween some of the darkerareas here in this fire.I mean it is like eye searingly bright. It is so bright. And the cool part about thisis that you have a ton of othercapabilities with the factthat it runs at 144 hertz, that you do have a full 4K resolution,it's a full 32 inch display. But when you're sittingright in front of it,not even counting any of the other stuff, just purely looking atthe HDR implementationit is absolutely incrediblehow much dynamic range you're getting. Now if you want to go even bigger, there's the 43 inch displaywhich not only has a full 4K resolution. What I really like is it will runat a full 144 frames per secondwith a single DisplayPort cable. So there's no chroma sub-sampling,it's still running at a full 10 bit.And what you're getting here is a displaywhich well only runs at 1000 nits, unlike the 1400 nits over there, but it's still an incrediblygood looking displaywhich is really nice and large. However I have been veryhelpfully informed by JJthat I forgot to mentionthat this has a remotewhich would be perfectfor, say, oh, I don't know,a next generation console. Now if we're being realwhat I might be most excited for hereis the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14with built-in This Is branding. How do you feel about that, Matt?- I feel great.Subscribe to This Is.- So obviously the most excitingfeature right off the batis the AniMe Matrix display.I'm definitely saying that wrong,I don't actually know ifthat's the final name. But essentially, this is an LED panelthat is on the back of the Zephyruswhich you can completely customize.Which we have very thankfullyfrom our friends at Asusdone with This Is branding. But you can turn it off, youcan put whatever you want,it'll animate with like a GIFor whatever you'd like to do.But while that's really the showy thing, what I'm excited for iswhat's inside this guy.Because this is one ofthe every first laptopsto ship with the brand newRyzen 4000 series mobile chips, aka laptops are about to geta whole lot more exciting this year.So inside you have a couple of optionsgoing from Ryzen 5,which has a six core design,or Ryzen 7 which this is rockingwith a full eight cores. Now I am incredibly, incredibly excitedto get my hands on thisand play around with it.Although unfortunately thisone is heavily locked down,so I can't so much as saythe word Geekbench out loudwithout it wanting to close itself down. But what we're gettinghere is some serious boost,I believe it's over 4gigahertz on this modeland Asus is actually using their own,I guess I wanna saycustom version of Ryzen. But they do have the HS model, which is going to be running at 35 watts, but give you the powerroughly of the 45 watt model. So essentially what you get hereis an incredibly powerful laptopprocessor with eight coresin an AMD system.Which is very exciting. For real though, this is an incredibly exciting momentbecause laptops especiallyhave been very, verymuch dominated by Intel, even on the gaming side butespecially on the portable side. However with Zen 2 hittingwith the Ryzen 4000 series, going up to eight cores on a laptop, which let me just sort of make clearis actually very portable. So this is a 14 inch laptopwith an RTX 2060 and aneight core Ryzen processorand yet it's not that muchbigger than most Ultrabooks. So it starts with Ryzen5 and a 1660Ti,but if you go all the wayto Ryzen 7 and RTX 2060we should still only belooking at about $2000.Which for this level of power, especially if Ryzen 4000 seriesis as good as I hope it isis super, super, exciting. It also has a really small180 watt power brick, which I say really small, butconsidering it's 180 wattsit is pretty small. But the other cool thingis it also supports USB-C power deliverywhich means that as longas you're not gaming, you could actually use a standardpower brick up to 65 wattsand it will charge the laptop.I should also probably mentionthat it has a 120 hertz panel at 1080p,or if you want a high resolutiongo up to 1440p at 60 hertz. Now beyond that there area couple of other things. So of course it does have notonly the Ergolift design, but you have a prettysolid variety of portsincluding a couple of USB-A,a couple of USB-C as well as HDMI.And one of the coolest parts about this,is the fact that it actually looks veryI don't want to saygamer-y because it doesn't,but it looks nice.I will say that theZephyrus definitely kind ofthis generation I thinkis, it looks grown up.Especially in this gray. There's also a white model, but it doesn't look super show off-ywhich is nice becausethis is very thin laptop,it's a very powerful laptop, but it doesn't really looklike some huge bulky gaming laptop. And for me, that's reallywhat I'm looking for.I am incredibly excited for this laptopand it comes out in two to three monthsdepending on where you areand depending on howquickly they build them.So that, my friends, is alook at what Asus has to offerhere at CES 2020.Definitely be sure tosubscribe to the channelfor lots more CES coverage this year.As well as you can check outsome of the other videos here, and please wish me luckbecause I have many, many more videos to make.Or everything else I see is lameand I'm gonna go hang outin Vegas for a couple days. It's win-win, I don't know.
