**The iPhone 6 Dummy: A Glimpse at Apple's Next Flagship**

This dummy is really starting to look like it's set in stone, and that's because they're pretty much final by this point. The rounded edges, the big display, and slightly bigger bezels are all here, and I've noticed since having it that it's a departure from all the iPhones we've had since the iPhone 4. In fact, it reminds me of the HTC One M8 at a glance - the metal body, the roundness in the hand. This is definitely not going to be as slippery as the M8, mostly because it's not quite as big.

**A Larger Display**

The size of this iPhone is a big deal. The iPhone 6 dummy sports a 4.7 inch display and there are rumors that support this too. It has a resolution of 1704 x 960. Here it is next to the iPhone 5S, which has a 4-inch display and you can see that not only is it taller but it's also wider. This is definitely a bigger phone than Apple has ever made.

I'm actually finding the bezels seem to be kind of big compared to other phones out now. It makes this phone look a little ugly. Even the other iPhones have smaller bezels than this. The Moto X, for example, also has a 4.7 inch display but it's much smaller and not nearly as tall. It doesn't need to make room on the front for a home button, which is true.

**Thinness**

This phone is definitely not big in terms of thickness. We've seen this before with the iPhone 6 - it's going to be an extremely thin phone. We're talking six millimeters thick here in a metal unibody case, which is very impressive. Apple has never really had problems with battery life on the iPhone, and seeing a new iPhone that's even thinner than the current one gets me questioning how big of a battery they can fit in.

But if you check out one of these pre-production iPhone 6 cases here, which has the interior measurement of just six millimeters, we can put the iPhone 6 dummy in it and see that it fits perfectly. All the cutouts and all the speakers and the Lightning port and the headphone jack are all still there, and it's the same thinness as the iPod Touch - incredibly impressive.

**Minor Details**

There are also some other minor things with this new iPhone. The power button relocation is now on the side of the phone, which makes sense because it's a bigger phone and would be harder to reach the top. That's about it for now. Apple could surprise us with some crazy new features or hardware stuff, but that's about as good a look at this as we're going to get.

**Consumer Reaction**

What I find most interesting is actually how people react to this. So, I'm going to jump back to you guys - would you buy a 4.7 inch display iPhone? Would you buy a big iPhone like this? I know the back markings might not be finalized and this might not be the exact final look of the design, but it tends to look a lot better when it's an actual working phone.

covered already like i said but there are three main characteristics that you're gonna wanna know about this before the next iphone comes out because they're pretty much set in stone at this point and
