**Midweek 180**

In this special midweek update, we bring you news, views, and information about upcoming reviews all filmed in one take. We'll start by checking in with our Leader of the Pack from last week's Famous Five challenge. Congratulations to Harry Archer for joining forces with Simon W Francois, GEE Andrew Lord, and Stevie double-oh-seven. Whoever puts the first comment on this week's video will become the new Leader of the Pack next week, and the first five commenters will be part of our famous five.

We're looking for your input, so where are you and what's new with you? Stevie oh seven shared a hilarious story about trying to shave his own hair, which ended up going completely awry. I must admit, I've had my fair share of DIY disasters in the past. Last week, I forgot to ask a question during our Q&A session, but that's a story for another time. This week's question is all about forgetting: what's the worst thing you've ever forgotten? I've been guilty of forgetting important dates and booking the wrong week off work. Luckily, we discovered it just before our holiday in France, and we had to adjust our plans at the last minute.

**F1 Update**

The world of F1 is buzzing with news about budget caps. Mattia Binotto, Ferrari's CEO, has sparked controversy by expressing his doubts about rushing into any new budget cap regulations. Binotto believes that a reduction in spending would devalue F1 and undermine its competitive spirit. Meanwhile, McLaren team principal Zak Brown seems to be on the opposite side of the debate. However, it's worth noting that the current cap for 2021 is set at $150 million per team, with some exceptions excluding driver salaries.

Brown has taken to social media to respond to Binotto's comments, suggesting that a reduction in spending would have significant implications for F1's financial stability and competitiveness. Meanwhile, Ferrari gets a significant proportion of their revenue from F1 due to their rich history and reputation as one of the most successful teams in the sport. New cars are not expected this week, given the ongoing pandemic, but our Car of the Month series continues.

Our Car Vlog 19 has been a huge success so far, with 34 videos uploaded to date. I'm thrilled to say that we're still coming up with fresh ideas for the vlogs, and I hope you're enjoying them as much as I am! In other news, I recently let Mrs. Petrol Head get rid of my quiff, and while it was a bit of a traumatic experience, I think she did an excellent job. Now, I'm looking forward to seeing what the next vlog brings – maybe some modifications to Ruby Roadster? We'll have to wait and see, but one thing's for sure: our channel is always producing exciting content.

went a bit wrong so he went shorter went a bit wrong when she or two ended up just basically shaving his head completely bald I resonated with me because at the weekend I let mrs. petrol head get rid of Mike ovid quiff I think she did a pretty good job to be honest and now last week I totally forgot to ask a question what steer bat went oh I didn't ask a question so my question this week is what's the worst thing you've ever forgotten and I actually forgot the days that we were going on holiday ones and booked the wrong week off work we only discovered it the week before and we ended up having to move a two-week holiday in France by a week oops but yeah I'd love to know what's the worst thing you've ever forgotten and now f1 there's a bit of a rau brewing at the moment between McLaren and Ferrari over budget caps because Beatty basically Mattia bonauto has come out and said he doesn't believe that we should rush into any budget caps now Zac Brown of the clown's not massively impressed with that there was a cap agreed in October last year of a hundred and seventy-five million pound per team it's about 140 million to hunt 175 million dollars about 140 million pounds now there are some things excluded from that I think including driver salary that's basically running the car and that's apparently they've then all agreed to go down to 150 million a year for 2021 but mclaren are quite happy to see that go down as low as a hundred million and Bonato basically thinks that we would devalue f1 if it went down that low that Browns responses we've got this massive global pandemic huge issues within the car industry you leaving or you saying I think you should sit sit sit sit sit fifth I'm asking excellent so yeah I just I'd love to know what you think about that one I mean Ferrari get a very large proportion of the revenue from f1 because they're a historic team which always skews things if you look at the budget they get compared with everybody else it's absolutely massive and no new cars this week for obvious reasons but and I've been doing the car vide 19 vlog now for a month I've actually done 34 videos would you believe I'm happy to say I'm still coming up
