I Bought A Nintendo Switch!

and it flims an error it's really flimsy and it could tear a rip and if you don't need to be doing that don't do it so now we have one screw right here did we have to remove this is the micro SD reader and then we need to take off just a clip literally just to clip plugs into the board pressure clip okay now we have a bunch of screws here and you'll see going around or some screws going around the edge we're gonna remove those now now when I had this one open for testing just to see what was actually going on I did actually put new cooling compound I'll show you guys that just because it is something that is recommended there's stuff that they have inside is pretty dry and hard to dissipate heat proper because it takes a lot of heat just to get it working again there we go you'll see that I have this new compound here I'll show you on here so I have it along here I also removed the cooling system took it all off and put it all in there as well so throughout the cooling system so what I'm gonna do first is I'm gonna unhook the battery of course and just to see if I proved a point I'm gonna plug the new battery in and just try to power it up as you wouldn't believe the size of the Box they shipped this in it was actually ridiculous so you got a battery this size and they shipped it in a box about this size it was just unbelievable the wasted shipping from and packaging from Amazon

now apparently these are supposed to come with some sort of like a twenty or forty percent charge like any lithium should and hopefully I think the original battery is a thirty six something whatever and this is a forty one thirty or something like that just a much better battery overall now let's see so if I go like this it's supposed to go in this way okay moment of truth

does this power up there we go people or at least it was there we go as you can see the switch actually works seventy dollars to my door paid another 20 for the battery and a bit of my time well guys were days later a couple phone calls with nitendo later looks like I'm

gonna have to send this thing in for repair anyway now my biggest problem is they may call what I did modding my product so I'm gonna try and put the original battery back in and send it to them that way what is happening I'm getting it 21:01 - zero zero zero one error no matter

what I do hard reset anything nothing seems to fix this this is actually not our fault this is actually Nintendo's product this is a software error which means the system has crashed and it's unrecovered looking on the internet

reading up what everybody has to say 21:01 - is zero zero zero one is unrecognized by Nintendo or talked about by Nintendo I think it's death of your switch personally so they want to charge me 99 dollars to repair it and possibly replace it but will they call my liquid

change for my cooling system a modification I did not change any parts I guess I'm gonna have to try and send it in and see unless any of the viewers out there have seen this before and you

know a fix for it right now my mind is blown so basically what's

happening with this unit right now is it

will turn on now it does turn on and it

shows the logo and then it shows a switch logo

and then the air screen which is typical of a crash

switch but here's the problem I cannot get it into

recovery mode if I could get this into recovery mode

and do a hard reset and make the switch all format it anyway as I would want to as it's now mine not somebody else's this would be the goal

but it won't do it so guys till next time I hope you

enjoyed this video I'm feeling kind of sad about it because normally when I do a video and I do a repair it usually is a pass in this case I fail to fix this product hey guys please share subscribe and smash that bell for further updates and maybe I will send this thing in a Nintendo and we can see what they call a modification till next time guys thank you for watching

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up YouTube I did it I did it oh I finally did it what'd i do guys i but switch controllers do icons actually I didn't buy them I traded and they're brand new sealed basically they were never used and I trade it for him why would I do that oh I even bought a doc for the switch and a higher milliamp battery yeah like the one that's Indy I guess the newer revision but why did I do that I bought a broken switch yeah yeah I did it yeah so guys I'm a sucker for punishment and I bought this off eBay I think he's got delivered for about 70 dollars which was actually not bad considering what broken months go for now physically this thing is pretty clean there's no scratching really the product is in great shape it's not you know hurt in any way or form and putting one of these in my hands actually I'm a little disgusted on the build quality to be truthful no offense guys but this just feels like a glorified Android tablet I've tested this I've taken it apart I've done everything this unit will not charge or turn on I do not even get the indication light up here in the corner now Nintendo graciously would not answer my questions I called the support team I got elevated to the tech and he still would not give me the information I needed other than beating around the bush a little he did tell me that it indicated that if the battery unit was completely dead I would not get a charge light or any power so that being said I bought a new battery so today we're going to take this thing apart we're gonna change the battery and we're gonna find out if I bought a dud the ISO of course for this we're going to need the tri wing screwdriver this time I'm going to use my own proper tools because I find the ones that get aftermarket are kind of shady and don't seem to fit right so basically there's four screws here and something everybody shows in their videos when you take these apart they show taking out all these screws well that's actually not true you only need if you're not going to be doing anything with the Joye cons or the motherboard you don't need to take out the I believe a center one here I will see if I'm right but pretty sure and then there's two on the bottom here and I believe one right here and then guys you're gonna want to take this piece here lift it up and take it off it just clips off there's a screw right here that needs me remove now if I'm right about the time time to take the other screws off this should just come off and I am right keep that in mind guys because what happens is when you remove all the screws along here for the job for the jaikon connections there's actually a little ribbon cable inside and it flims an error it's really flimsy and it could tear a rip and if you don't need to be doing that don't do it so now we have one screw right here did we have to remove this is the micro SD reader and then we need to take off just a clip literally just to clip plugs into the board pressure clip okay now we have a bunch of screws here and you'll see going around or some screws going around the edge we're gonna remove those now now when I had this one open for testing just to see what was actually going on I did actually put new cooling compound I'll show you guys that just because it is something that is recommended there's stuff that they have inside is pretty dry and hard to dissipate heat proper because it takes a lot of heat just to get it working again there we go you'll see that I have this new compound here I'll show you on here so I have it along here I also removed the cooling system took it all off and put it all in there as well so throughout the cooling system so what I'm gonna do first is I'm gonna unhook the battery of course and just to see if I proved a point I'm gonna plug the new battery in and just try to power it up as you wouldn't believe the size of the Box they shipped this in it was actually ridiculous so you got a battery this size and they shipped it in a box about this size it was just unbelievable the wasted shipping from and packaging from Amazon now apparently these are supposed to come with some sort of like a twenty or
