I recently started using my steam mop and was excited to try it out, but I have to admit that I found it to take forever to clean my floors. You have to go slower than with a traditional mop, which made me hesitant to use it more frequently because I didn't want to spend all day cleaning my floors. However, I finally got onto the bucket system and now I'm able to steam clean my floors much more efficiently.

I've also been experimenting with different cleaning products and methods, but nothing seems to work as well as this new system. The bucket is perfect for containing the water and allowing me to control the amount of steam that's released. It's also really easy to use and requires minimal setup. I can just fill up the bucket, add some cleaning solution, and start steaming away.

I have to say, I'm really excited about my new cleaning system and how much more efficient it is than traditional mopping methods. I've already started using it on all of my floors and it's made a huge difference in the cleanliness of my home. Plus, it's much easier on my back and joints compared to pushing around a heavy mop and bucket.

On a completely different note, I recently got into costume shopping for Halloween and I came across the most amazing ruffle top that I just had to have. The problem was that it didn't fit quite right - I ordered a large but unfortunately, it runs small on me. However, I'm not one to let a little setback like that stop me from achieving my goals. I've been searching for a similar top in the right size and I think I might have found it.

I was watching Labyrinth the other day and I couldn't help but notice Sarah's outfit throughout the majority of the film. Her most famous outfit, of course, is the one she wears when she's trapped in the glass ball with Jareth, but her main outfit while navigating the labyrinth is what really caught my eye - straight jeans paired with loafers and an oversized blouse with a vest. I was able to find this exact vest on Amazon and it's really close to the one Sarah wore.

To complete the look, I added a little pin in the shape of an owl, which is a nod to Jareth's initial form as an owl-like creature. I found this pin at T.J. Maxx and I think it adds just the right touch to my costume. Overall, I'm really happy with how my Halloween costume turned out and I feel like I've nailed Sarah's look from the film.

For Halloween, I decided to go as Sarah from Labyrinth rather than another character. I mean, who wouldn't want to be the heroine of a classic cult film? The costume isn't too complicated - just a simple outfit with a pin and some accessories - but I think it really captures the essence of Sarah's character.

I've been watching videos of myself getting ready for Halloween and I have to say, I'm really excited about how my costume is turning out. From the ruffle top to the vest and pin, everything is carefully chosen to capture Sarah's style from the film.

other projects that i'm doing so i'm gonna show you guys all that plus i wasn't gonna do it this early but i am gonna reveal my halloween costume this year and i'm so excited all right so i'm going to show you guys what i got from walmart first there's only a couple of things so the first things are these one size fits all little sock slippers you get this cute little fox and then this bunny i just liked the color of them this one kind of is like orangey to me and this one's like pinky and i thought it would be perfect to add into my daughter's fall care package that i'm going to be sending her her and her roommate decorated their apartment in like each of their favorite colors so they've combined them together so my daughter decorated with orange and then she decorated with pink and then i just saw these at walmart and thought it would be really cute plus i wanted to kind of send a little something for her roommate and i thought that like this would be perfect they each kind of have like cute little slippers for the house you know whatever so that's gonna be for the care package and then funny story but if you watched yesterday monday's dollar tree haul i believe i showed you guys the spiders i didn't think i was ever gonna find them because i went to walmart and this walmart trip was like a week or so ago way before i found the spiders at dollar tree but i kept holding out trying to find these spiders at dollar tree couldn't find them so i while i was at walmart i found the spiders so now i have a bunch of spiders is the point but i got them specifically for decorating the media room them in these like little mini packs not gonna be using the gray ones speaking of dollar tree i thought i'd just share this in today's haul in case you don't catch like all of my videos or you're new here and you're just like stumbling upon this because you're like watching fall hauls um i picked these jumbo scrunchies up from dollar tree they're just so beautiful very trendy right now especially with this little print uh swiss dots is that what this is this print is called um the colors are gorgeous and i wanted to show them in this video again because i'm going to be actually sending these in the care package let's do chien real quick because i also picked up some hair clips for my daughter for the care package they're so inexpensive they're like a dollar and these are just little teddy bears i want you guys to see it too but look how cute that is the matte brown is so pretty and then we get this one oh my gosh so adorable i will link um the she and stuff down below for you guys and then i picked up this green one that kind of has like a marbly effect but look how beautiful that mark that green marble is quality seems really good there seems to be like a double layer that's really interesting and then i got this one this is the one that just obviously isn't very fall has like the flowers i just thought it was really fun you know so i was like why not i mean look how pretty that is i'm telling you shein has some amazing hair accessories so we got that and then i'm gonna do an overshot of all of this for you guys just like a quick one because i feel like we could be here for a while and i'm not trying to keep this video overly long because there's just so much to get through but i want to start journaling and i wanted to pick up some of these little like vintage bits from xi'an and they're so cute like these little books have like little random you know pictures on them and then there's like stickers and just little vintage cards and the stickers are super darling and then yeah just a bunch of other little like vintage pieces of paper to craft with and journal with so next up is actually my grocery store market street i don't know if you guys have a market street but there they have this little section of halloween stuff it was just so pretty so many like just uh the cutest decor i've ever seen but it was the two mugs that just straight away caught my attention and yeah i had to go home with them they're super cute and then i did like a search for them on amazon to kind of find like who this maker was to see if there were like any other mugs that match this collection and apparently it's a set of four that come in this you get the vampire no dracula a spider the bat and then this is the devil i thought this was dracula so i'm just going to pretend he's dracula because i prefer that but uh it does come in a set of four and i will link them down below all right next up is going to be tj maxx and i will show you guys what i found i picked up this hocus pocus mix i was just like maybe i could have done this with dollar tree candy and you're gonna see it's gonna be like a diy in a dollar tree video nonetheless um i'm gonna be using this basically to create a halloween tablescape also for my daughter's care package i picked up some earrings while i was at tj maxx i saw these and i just thought they were so pretty so i thought i'd include them in the package i don't know i might actually just like hold these back and just stash them away for either her 21st birthday or for christmas and then i also found this one too which is very her it's very um dainty and has the butterflies i don't know if you can see but the butterflies are white with like the gold detail and these are a lot smaller so these are really gonna probably hug um her earlobe more than the cross ones but again i might do the same thing i might just like pull these back and just stash them away i really don't know what i'm gonna do so um but i knew the moment i saw these earrings that they were just so beautiful i had to get them and then more mugs like like what do i tell you but this was 7.99 so i thought that was a really great price so like essentially like four dollars for each mug and i just let's unbox this because i want you guys to see how cute the handles are but i've been talking about how i love the silhouette of creepy houses for halloween as a matter of fact i did a dollar tree diy my favorite of all time and i'm gonna say that this whole the rest of the year i'll link that video down below so you can go see this diy in case you haven't already but as soon as i saw this mug set with the little creepy oh it's stuck to the section you'll see so i'm just gonna hold it up like this but look so there's like the creepy house situation which is so unique i don't have anything like this in my mug collection set but it was the handles like the little detail right here like the ghost oh i just thought that was absolutely adorable i knew i was gonna just take that home and then it even matches like the mug so the ghost handle the ghost you know and then the bat handle and then the bats this next item is also from tj maxx i don't know yet if it's going to be a return or not so i'll show you guys but i got the creepy black glittery wreath it was 16.99 i do love this wreath i have two of them because i'm gonna be making over my bedroom i just haven't decided if i'm gonna go with the black glitter or if i'm gonna do something more raw that looks like real you know like the brown twig twigish look um not black glitter so yeah i haven't really landed on a decision there i'm going to go pick some up from like hobby lobby and then like compare the two when i decorate my bedroom and see which one i think is just going to be more complimentary to the space and yeah so if you're new to my channel i love decorating i love showing you guys different ideas and so i love to decorate as many spaces as i possibly can for you and my bedroom is one of them for holidays so this will be my first time decorating for halloween though and i want to do kind of like a hocus pocus moment without being too gimmicky all right so the first couple of things i mean they're going to throw up a picture or i'm going to show you like an overlay of the actual item because they're you know already in their set places so the first item from amazon i'm going to show you a picture because i don't have it quite yet i get it really soon but it's basically like a dresser i have been thinking a lot lately that i needed extra storage and i knew that i was going to pick up some type of like container style i thought oh let me just get some like little tubs you know basically i wanted to take away like my socks and some like my intimates out of the dressers that are in my bedroom and i knew i wanted to move them into my closet and then i found something like this off of amazon and i thought it was just kind of perfect it wasn't a full-on wood dresser that i was going to have to put together with the nails and the building and all that like i know i still have to put this together but from what i've seen it's super easy to do it's also very light it's basically like a piece of metal and fabric style drawers and so i got this to solve for the fact that i needed to take away you know some things from my dressers in my bedroom all right the next item i'm going to do in over shop because it's currently in my kitchen but it is the amazon echo show and this thing is so cool i love it i'm definitely a tv girl especially being alone it just helps to have a sound going on throughout the house and you know i obviously work from home and it's just so nice to have um something smaller that's still functioning like a tv in the kitchen plus it does so many other things it's just insane you know it's an alexa product hopefully i didn't wake any of y'all's up but so she can do all the things that alexa can do plus if your family um like i think anyone else in a different household has one you can facetime each other off of it and then like if you have multiple ones in your actual house you can use them as intercoms and you can announce like things like dinner time and she'll announce it to the rest of the house and so it's a really cool concept but i did get mine actually to have like a little mini tv in my kitchen if you remembered my last house i actually had a tv in my butler's pantry and i loved that feature so when i moved into this house and if you guys know like what my butler's pantry looks like a tv and that space just wasn't gonna work out and i was really missing that like tv moment from the kitchen i really thoroughly enjoyed it so this just solves for that and you know having amazon prime you can play music it can do all those things if you're cooking and you need to watch a recipe you can watch it it also follows you has like a motion where it will follow you you can disable that too if you don't want it to or you can use a command to tell it when to follow you instead of just like automatically it's just like the coolest little gadget that i actually own in my house this next item was actually just released um in a my last decorating video so i'll leave that decorating video down below so you can go check it out um so you can see the rest of the space but i'm just going to show you the item and this overlay here but i did purchase the white drying racks wall mount from amazon and i love them it just solved my problem of getting stuff up off the floor because i had like a drying rack you know that was just based on standing on the floor basically and because of like the space and just you know just the limited space i knew that i should utilize the wall and so i purchased these off of amazon and i love them the next item is also in my laundry room and it's the rug this rug is fabulous it is it is quite a pricey rug um at least compared to the prices that i will typically spend on a rug you know just kind of depending on the size and stuff and compared to other rugs that i see while i'm shopping and stuff like that um for the three by five that i got i thought it was pretty pricey i will say the quality is worth it um and it's just it's an absolutely beautiful rug and it has like um until you get it you kind of know what i'm talking about but it just really does feel sturdy and nice also on your feet and so i think it's been the perfect addition to my laundry room the next two things i'm actually wearing so the first one is this plain brown hat if you are new to my channel i'm just i do like to wear more earthy toned colors and for me that means black white brown navy and greens like this green sports bra this was actually in the last amazon haul that i did i'm actually wearing the set today so just to kind of like show you guys this is how i'm wearing the set this is actually from sheen i don't know if this has appeared in a haul i think it has but um i was just looking for a plain brown hat and i picked this up from amazon and then the second item are these earrings i really like the chunkier hoops and i didn't have any like that but i also do love to layer necklaces and i picked this up from amazon and i was looking for a cross layer like this but it actually came with four which the picture shows it like this but i thought for some reason i don't know why i thought this because it was literally my own assumption i thought they were like four individual necklaces not like one hole attached to one i mean i can easily solve that you know by removing the layers if i wanted to um but each little layer is really cute so we get like a plain one right here it's kind of hard to show necklaces honestly the cross the medallion or like the coin and then this is just like a kind of looks like a gold brick so with the cross necklace i just showed you i actually had a a layering style in mind so this next necklace i have to throw up a picture because i don't have it yet i think it gets delivered today but it's really sweet and pretty and dainty it's gold with like evenly spaced pearls on it so it's not like a full on pearl necklace because you get like that gold detail but i immediately thought of how pretty that would be layered on top of like a cross necklace i think i'm gonna keep this one as is there's another little like dainty cross necklace from amazon that i'm eyeing so i'll probably just pick that one up because when i put this on i did really like all of the layers the way they are next up from amazon it's a dvd set the monsters and i didn't have the monsters in my collection this is supposed to be the full collection and it was 19 like what but it's also just two seasons i didn't realize that the monsters only went for two seasons is that right it does say the complete series i didn't realize that i thought it went on a little bit longer than that i don't know why i thought it was four but anyways this show is absolutely hilarious so got it in dvd form and then i picked up this adorable pillow cover now what i love about this pillow cover is that it has like the embroidery on it and a lot of the time my experience with pillow covers from amazon because you guys know i or if you follow my hauls you know i get a lot of pillow covers from amazon but they're usually just like flat and a print like this one this is from amazon right there's no detail to it it's not embroidered it's just a print so finding this with this detail i thought was just so pretty so we got that and then the next thing is this electric kettle i don't know why i've never owned one of these before but it was about time every time i was making myself tea and if you watch my vlogs you'd probably see it in the video but as i would pour from the pot into my mug it would just spill everywhere everywhere just hot water everywhere and so it was time for one of these the next item kept being out of stock or at least every time i checked it was out of stock but i finally got the oh cedar easy ring microfiber spinner mop system whatever that's called i don't know if you guys have heard of this but i used it for the first time in my laundry room when i did like the laundry room makeover and i love this mop system i've always mopped my floors my tile floors with my steam mop and i do love that and i'll continue to use that but the thing with my steam mop is i feel like it just takes forever because you do have to go slower than a traditional mop and i want to clean my floors a lot more often but i was finding that i didn't want to clean my floors all the time because i knew how long it was going to take me with that steam mop so i finally um got onto this bucket system of course you guys know i saw it from vanessa herself the queen and now it is time for my halloween costume reveal what's funny about this costume is that i can just see myself opening the front door for trick-or-treaters giving them candy they're gonna think i'm not even in costume parents would also look at me and not think i'm in costume at all but i know when i show you guys you're gonna know you're just gonna know so i thought i was watching this movie the other day and here i got some jeans because all of my jeans are skinny jeans i'm trying to get into more of like the straight leg now but i got these levi's from amazon pretty decent price for like 30 dollars which i thought was amazing i think they fit really well i like how um i like how i look in these jeans it's just yeah so highly recommend they're the 505 straight jean okay um but i did get it specifically as well for this halloween costume so and then here's this ruffle top this top actually did not come the way i thought it would i don't know if sheen just made a mistake or if it's just like one of those tops where sometimes with she and stuff yeah see this is supposed to be an extra large because i wanted it to be oversized on me and this is a small to me so um so i might have to do a change out with this top but this was for part of the halloween costume and the main part i'm sure all of you are like girl what the hell is your costume but if you know drop your guesses below before i tell you guys in three two one but i was watching labyrinth and i owl kind of thing and i really like the color too it's very fall and i just thought it would be the perfect little brooch to add you know to this yeah but i mean it's a super simple halloween look i'm obviously not going to a party of any sort i'm going to do my hair just like hers i think i'm gonna need a little clip like she has as well and um i'm just gonna be handing out candy but like really it's more for me really than for anyone else because no one's gonna know i'm in costume like let's get real right it's a hard one to pick up but um but i'm gonna be sarah from labyrinth so that is my
