The Art of Battery Drain Testing: A Review of Earbuds

Hey what's up YouTube, welcome to Custom Adventures! Today, I'll be doing a massive battery drain test with all these earbuds that I've been testing recently. If you've watched any of my last four videos, you know that I've been talking about this battery drain test that I'll be doing, and this is it. So here's my battery drain test, it took around five, five and a half hours to do, yeah let's get this started! Okay, for the earbuds, we have Galaxy Buds Pro, Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros, Taotronics Sound Liberty 94 ANC earbuds, and AirPods Pro. They all start at 100 battery right now, they're full volume with ANC on, they all seem to be going down at a consistent rate, all very similar with no apparent leaders at the moment. Once we get to one hour, we change the volume to two thirds way down but still with ANC on, the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros seem to be going down quicker than the rest of them.

At 2 hours, we turn the volume back up to max volume, the Soundcores are still in last and struggling. Then we turn off the ANC but keep the volume at high at 2 hours and 45 minutes, it appears that the Sound Liberty 94 earbuds are going way longer than the rest of the buds they're at 50 where the others are around half. Now we have all the ANC on and music at full volume, and at four hours and 24 minutes, the Sound Liberties die suddenly dropping to zero from pretty much like forty percent, and the Soundcores officially die at four hours and forty one minutes.

The Galaxy Buds Pro clock out at four hours in 56 minutes, and AirPods Pro take five hours and 11 minutes. Okay, so the AirPods Pro took the overall win over all these earbuds which is kind of surprising because it seemed like most of these companies really did not live up to their claims. The Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros claimed to get seven hours of audio playback and ended with four hours and 41 minutes which is two hours and nineteen minutes short of their claim on their website, they didn't specify if this was with or without ANC but we did have the ANC on for a majority of the time.

they claimed to get five hours of audio playback not specified with anti on or off and they got five hours and 11 minutes which the airpods did a good job and at the end of the day all these numbers are kind of they're kind of light work honestly because like i did a battery drain test a long time ago and i did the galaxy buds plus and they lasted for 11 hours that's an 11 hour battery drain test
