Infinix NOTE 10 Pro - How is this just $259

The Infinix Note 10 Pro: A Comprehensive Review

As I unwrapped the Infinix Note 10 Pro, I was surprised to learn that this device would cost only $259. The price point seemed too good to be true, but as I began to explore its features and specs, it became clear that this phone is an excellent value for its price.

Upon unboxing, I found that the package included a glass screen protector, an invitation to join the XClub, a soft clear case, a USB Type-C cable, a 33-watt XCharge power brick, and a pair of 3.5 millimeter earphones. The device itself comes with a striking design, featuring a back panel split into two sections: a bottom textured section and a top glossy section. This unique design element is quite impressive, and the phone has been awarded the iF Design Award 2021 for its best discipline product in the telecommunications category.

One of the standout features of the Infinix Note 10 Pro is its display. The phone boasts a 6.95-inch full HD+ screen with small bezels and a center punch-out, which makes it perfect for daily use, especially during the pandemic where people have turned to their smartphones for entertainment and learning. The display also features a 90Hz refresh rate, along with an 180Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 418 nits. This is impressive, considering that such high-quality displays are typically found on more expensive smartphones.

The camera system on the Infinix Note 10 Pro is another notable feature. The primary camera has a 64-megapixel resolution and a large 1/1.72-inch sensor size, which allows it to film 4K video. Additionally, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, as well as two bonus cameras: a macro camera and a black-and-white camera that will help with portrait shots. For me personally, having a 64-megapixel primary camera with the ultra-wide camera is the perfect combination, making this device an excellent choice for capturing high-quality images.

Moving on to the device's physical build, I found that it has a USB Type-C input at the bottom, along with a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack and a bottom-facing speaker. This is notable because devices at this price point usually only have one stereo speaker – the other being in the earpiece. The phone also features a volume rocker on the right-hand side, accompanied by a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. I was impressed to see that the device has a fast fingerprint scanning speed.

The left-hand side of the phone houses the SIM card tray, which can accommodate two SIM cards and a micro SD card. This allows users to have two active SIMs at once and expand their storage capabilities. The phone comes with 256 gigabytes of internal storage, which should be more than sufficient for most people. Additionally, it features 8 gigabytes of RAM and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, which has seen improved CPU performance and GPU performance compared to its predecessor, the G80.

In terms of gaming performance, I found that this device is capable of handling demanding games with ease. The phone's hardware is well-suited for graphics-intensive tasks, thanks to features like the Darling Ultimate game booster, which works in conjunction with the smartphone's hardware to improve graphic image stability and screen sensitivity.

As I continued to explore the Infinix Note 10 Pro, I discovered that it runs on Android 11 with XOS 7.6 as its operating system. The first time I used XOS, my impressions were overwhelmingly positive – it is fast, snappy, and offers a range of additional customizations and features. One notable feature is the Darling Ultimate game booster, which provides improved gaming performance.

Throughout this review, I have been impressed by the Infinix Note 10 Pro's impressive list of features and specs. With its 90Hz display, 64-megapixel camera, 33-watt charger, and XOS operating system, it is an excellent value for its price point of $259. If you're in the market for a new smartphone and want to pick up the Infinix Note 10 Pro, I would certainly recommend considering this device.

lightcurves across the back.Check that out.Now let's take a look at the frontwhere I think we've got oneof the key selling pointsof the smartphone. We've got a 6.95 inchfull HD plus display. We've got small bezelswith a center punch out.And most importantly, this has a 90 hertz refresh rate.A 90 hertz display at this price.I mean, that's just insane. It's going to make everything very smoothalong with the 180 hertztouch sampling rate. And a peak brightness of 418 nits.Which I believe makesthis the best displayon a smartphone in this price range. And also one of the biggest screenswith a center punch hole.Which makes this perfect for daily useespecially during the pandemicwhere people have turnedto their smart phonesfor entertainment and learning.Right now, let's takea look at the cameras. So upfront we do have a16 megapixel selfie camerawithin this punch out.And then we've got themain cameras at the back. The primary camera has a64 megapixel resolutionand it has a large1/1.72 inch size sensor. And that can film 4K video, but as well as that, you do have an 8 megapixelultra-wide camera. On two bonus cameras, there's a macro cameraas well as a black and white camerawhich is going to helpwith portrait shots. Now, for me personally, having that 64 megapixel primary camerawith the ultra-wide camerais the perfect combination. And it really does bring it to the masseswith a device like this.Right now I want to showyou around the device. So at the bottom we havethe USB type C input. We have the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.If you haven't guessed already, with the included 3.5millimeter headphones. And then we have a bottom foreign speaker. Now, this is actually oneof the two stereo speakers. The other is in the ear piece. And again, devices at this priceusually just have onebottom firing speaker. So it's super impressivethat we do have stereo speakerson the Infinix Note 10 Pro.We've got nothing on the top.On the right-hand side,we have the volume rockerand then we have a power buttonwhich also doubles up asa fingerprint scanner.I'm trying to show you the speed of itbut it's just unlockingas soon as I touch it.Pretty fast.On the left-hand side, wehave the SIM card tray. Now this has space of two SIM cardsas well as the micro SD card.So you can have two SIM cardsin here active at same timeand you can expand the storage. But you do get 256gigabytes of storage anywaywhich is going to be morethan enough for most people. And you have 8 gigabytes of RAM.And this is powered by theMediaTek Helio G95 chipset. And compared to theprevious generation G80,it has improved CPUperformance of around 25.8%an improved GPU performanceof around 120.8%.Now I'm going to be honest with you guys.I'm not a huge smartphone gamer, but in generally usethis has been super fast.My friend Thunder E fromBooredatwork is a gamerand he's actually coveredthe gaming performanceof the Infinix Note 10 Pro on his channelso I'll definitely link that videodown in the description below.Right, What about the battery?Well this actually has a massive5,000 million power batterywhich is going to last youall day long and then some. And as you saw at the start, you do get a 33 watt chargerincluded out of the box. Now, remember there's lots of devicesthat costs three, foureven five times the price of thisand they don't have acharger included out the box.So having not only a regular chargerbut a 33 watt fast chargerincluded is absolutely awesome. And for software, we do haveAndroid 11 with XOS 7.6 on top.Now this is the first time I'm using XOS.And my first impressions are really good. It's fast, it's snappy. It's close to stock Androidwith some additionalcustomizations and featuressuch as the Darling ultimate game booster.Which works with the smartphones hardwareto improve graphic image stabilityand screen sensitivity. And you're getting all of this for $259a 90 hertz, full HD plus display,a 64 megapixel camera with an ultra wide,a 3.5 meter headphonejack, stereo
