How to Customize your iPhone LockScreen

Customizing Your iPhone without a Jailbreak: A Step-by-Step Guide

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! In today's video, I want to show you how to customize your iPhone on iOS 11 or iOS 12 without the need of a jailbreak. Yes, you heard that right - no jailbreak required. We'll be focusing on changing the lock icon animation when using Face ID on the iPhone 10, customizing the dock on iPhone 10 and older devices, and some additional animations for the lockscreen.

Let's start with the iPhone 10. To change the lock icon animation when using Face ID, we'll use a few simple wallpapers that do the trick. First, let me show you the animation when I lock my device using Face ID. You can see that there's no longer a lock; instead, it's going to be a heart and it unlocks, which looks really cool. I really like this one a lot! To achieve this effect, we'll use two wallpapers: one solid color for the lockscreen, and another faded-out version for the home screen. When you apply the wallpaper, use the solid-colored one as your lockscreen wallpaper, and then apply the faded-out version to your home screen. Now, when you unlock your device using Face ID, you'll see that the animation and actual icon change.

To take it up a notch, let me show you some additional animations for the lockscreen. As you can see, there are two versions of each animation - solid color and faded-out. You can tap and hold on any of these wallpapers to save them to your camera roll, and then apply whichever one you like. This will give you more control over the look and feel of your iPhone.

But wait, there's more! We'll also be customizing the dock on iPhone 10 and older devices without needing a jailbreak. To do this, we'll use a simple wallpaper approach. You can select from two different wallpapers: the homescreen wallpaper or the lockscreen wallpaper, depending on which one you want to apply. Once you've selected your preferred wallpaper, simply apply it, and you'll get a really cool effect - colors on the dock that look way better than the stock.

I'd like to share with you some additional links in the description below for further customization options. There are some amazing custom icons and shapes available for download, which would be perfect for those who want to take their iPhone customization game to the next level. And if you're interested in exploring more lockscreen animations, I'll have a link down below.

Overall, these little tricks will allow you to customize your iPhone without needing a jailbreak. It's all about experimenting with different wallpapers and settings until you find what works best for you. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe for more content!
