**A Turbo Civic's Journey**

We're going to work boys, we just got to track down some flywheel bolts and that guy should bolt right up, start pedaling dude, i think it's too high up yeah so we can pedal more so i only got like one pedal and then it picked me up. Okay here i was doing it, i was running with it, were you getting pretty high dude this spot right here is perfect for it, it starts to dig into your armpit yeah like the back side, it's hard, dude i'm telling you its a little weird there you go, yeah that's tough it is crooked, i almost want to put on some shoes and we gotta yeah we got to figure out the height thing because you do you need to be able to pedal like a couple pedals here, yeah its just cause if you let up the slack you'll fall, yeah oh yep we can definitely make that work though, yeah dude thats so cool. Oh it definitely uh definitely needs improvement, yeah its going through the other side of the noodle, yeah well we'll get just like a harness or something, so i've been asking around for a little bit and it looks like i'm gonna be able to get some flywheel bolts by tomorrow but unfortunately i'm not gonna have anything today, i was hoping i could find some by today and uh get that bolted up and get everything put back into the car if everything measured out all right, but we're just gonna have to wait until tomorrow you know, i don't have brent you know with all his parts laying around so i'm gonna have to track down my own stuff while we're out here and you know that might set me back more than it would if we were in colorado because you know back there we have all kinds of j series parts laying around all kinds of whatever parts we have laying around, so its much easier and quicker to find stuff we need uh than out here but thats part of you know the move and the process so we're just gonna have to wait until we can find those which hopefully like i said should be by tomorrow, honda dealership nearby so they can get them in stock and then well be able to uh check everything with the clutch get that put back in there and uh start going on the 240 see what it needs to get fired up and another thing i need to get done is get these slicks mounted up on the mr2 we have the brand new slicks right back there, i want to get the slicks on there and start getting this thing ready to make a pass hopefully soon its first pass down here in florida we did actually make a pass um when we first got this set up together but thats the time it broke so i've never actually had a solid a to b pass down here which would be really cool to see down here at sea level see if she wants to eat see how fast she wants to go, but yeah that is where i am at for right now theres still a whole bunch of little things i need to get done, i actually also just got internet working at the house that was another huge thing i needed to get out of the way it took a whole day to uh get that whole deal figured out but we have internet now, the first upload took like 12 hours off my hot spot so now we have good wi-fi and i need to figure out a lift tool boxes all that good stuff and i've been working on that as well in between you know just kind of chilling hanging out with the guys but uh yeah thats pretty much it. You know i've pretty much you know acclimated to the climate over here, i've been loving it so far, i think i've been down here for four days now as of this recording and its been awesome, its definitely a little hotter than home, definitely humid you know you sweat a lot easier down here but honestly dont mind it at all, im freaking loving it down here you know officially a florida man, and to think this all started because some kid wanted to build a turbo civic in his parents garage and decided to pick up a camera along the way. If i told myself that i'd be doing what i'm doing from when i started, i would have never believed myself you know this is its freaking wild so definitely more to come hopefully you guys are going to be meeting out here with me soon as well, i've been talking to some of the guys back home in colorado brent just got done with race week with cletus and all them, so it's going to be awesome guys. nick's down here for his birthday they're gonna be hanging out for a week so i'm gonna be spending a lot of time with them but how you guys liking it so far liking the new casa yeah i had to invite some of my colorado friends out here it's getting too cold down there we can just can come over here whenever you guys want just take a dip in the pool yeah yeah i'm loving it down here absolutely so yeah they'll probably be in the background of some of the videos and stuff for a while while they're out here but yeah it's gonna be sweet you can do it he's been cranking out some really nice looking perfect form back he's right here off this mini ledge now he's stepping it up he's got it though he's got like a two foot gap to clear maybe maybe a three foot gap probably two foot from his height yeah yeah before i go anywhere today i just want to give the old cummins some love she has been doing awesome guys you know ever since we did the billet flex plate over at wyatt's i've had no issues with this truck and you know i'm confident to say that now i've been keeping up on this thing giving her oil changes checking the fluids making sure it's not getting hot while it's been towing and she's been doing awesome have not had one single issue since we did that new flex plate and you know we've made a couple trips to florida now a couple trips out to texas we've been all over the place and i've put over 50 000 miles on this truck since i got it and i don't even think i've had it a full year yet so she's been doing good boy she gave us some issues in the beginning but you take care of her and uh she'll take care of you back so in the last video when i first moved in here this is a chris that was friends with thomas that was right over there and uh they actually just came down to give me a hand because i was unloading some engines out of the back of the truck and we didn't have enough hands even with my friends being over here so they came over to help us get some engines out of the back of the truck tried to get an engine hoist from harbor freight but they were sold out but uh yeah they brought this sweet little all-motor eg civic over this actually his brother kevin's and this thing is freaking sweet super clean five blood conversion they said this motor made 285 289 or 289 to the tire and that's an all motor k series so yeah this thing's freaking sweet you want to take it for a little rip real quick i'm all you know i just got down here i've been itching yeah no no doubt man gotta call all my honda people over yeah this thing is definitely super clean though oh yeah i like it a lot my man is out here in it always do that man i always do that this thing rips i've never been i've never been in an all motor car before oh really not an all motor honda no really nope you being a honda guy i'd expect that man no we we just put turbos on everything right right so this probably feels like similar to thongs because you know his made around a little over 300 that's gnarly it feels it it feels like it has the power of a turbo car but it's just all motor that's crazy so you're saying you can out drive your brother oh yeah oh no not a good first start dude took your shoes off too with everyone around here not driving in shoes driving bro that's how i drive every time yes sir clean rods out yes sir so it does that's all motored oh she was ripping the tires in a second oh i was lighting it up too for a while i just let it yes sir yeah he definitely ripped her better a little more through the gears yeah yeah yeah this thing rides out yeah yeah so i wanted to give them you know a better view of see what it's not yours you get to really get in on it right yeah baby being that it's not mine i'm like oh this thing's sick oh that's great it just lights the tires too feel them they're probably still a little warm got a little heat on them fun little car for sure for giving me our eyes that was tight yeah bro so the last few days i have not been filming too much ever since my friends from colorado got down here i've just been hanging out with them took a little time off we've been going to different restaurants trying new food going down to the beach and you know we've just been living a little bit it's been nice to step away from the camera these last few days and i'm still kind of taking everything in the fact that we're actually here in florida it's been freaking awesome so they're actually going to be hanging out with me for a few more days they're down here for a whole week but you know like the last four days i've just been hanging out with them and it has been awesome it's been a much needed couple day break and we are back in the shop right now and i'm getting ready to work on the s14 a little bit we did make a harbor freight run because we are working with pretty much absolutely nothing at least when i got here i had no tools at all just had this jack but i went and picked up a engine hoist we got a little socket kit and we got some jack stands underneath the s14 right there there's a torque wrench in that package right there but i got the most important part we were waiting on for the s14 and that is the clutch i have it here with me you guys will get to see it here in a minute i'm still missing a couple parts for this clutch i'm actually just missing flywheel bolts so i don't know if we'll be able to track those down today uh but the plan is to get the engine pull out the s14 today and just try to take a look at everything we have going on hopefully the clutch measurements and everything are going to line up properly and then you know if all goes to plan we'll get that thing stuck back in this thing and we can work on getting her fired up but uh yeah for right now the engine needs to come back out to double check that the clutch works and everything looks right and uh yeah i also had a guy come down to check out the shop to install some lighting he's going to run a 220 volt outlet somewhere in that corner for the welders and you know i've been trying to get some stuff organized and laid out but i've also been chilling with my homies so we're going to start getting back into things here very soon but uh we're gonna start with getting this engine yanked out of the s14 so i just got the engine and transmission pulled back out of the 240 got the transmission unbolted from the engine so we can take a look at this clutch here but one thing to note you don't realize how nice it is to have a lift until you don't have one anymore that was much harder than it was on the lift but you know your boy can get down on the floor you know we're back to the og days working on the ground until we get a lift installed but that's all right got all that stuff out and check it out guys here is the new flywheel and clutch from clutch masters i already went ahead and unboxed everything so this is the flywheel right here and you can see it has that step to uh go down to the crank and clear our adapter plate i have not tried to test it any of this yet so there's no guarantee this will even fit but you know i think i gave them the right measurements we have a twin disc clutch in here so we're going to be able to handle all kinds of power we throughout this thing for now she's going to stay stock engine and you know get a turbo kit but we have a twin disk clutch and we have a hydraulic throughout bearing to go along with all of that and uh yeah i guess let's go ahead and see if this flywheel at least lines up so i said earlier that i don't have the flywheel bolts and that is true i just called and they said i need flywheel bolts from a j30 so i just put up an instagram post hopefully someone locally will have them if not i'll have to go track some down from like a junkyard or whatever but let's see if this guy wants to line up in there all right give me one sec guys this is really hard with one hand i have to set this up right here oh yes i think we are good to
