DOLLAR TREE DIY _ HOLIDAY DECOR _ FAUX SNOW BALLS DISPLAY

Today's Dollar Tree DIY has a snowball theme and I'm obsessed with this! I have nothing like this in my Christmas decor collection, so now I'm going to share with you guys how I put this together. Obviously, the first step is showing you all the materials that I've used to put this together.

Not my cheapest Dollar Tree DIY, but I think it was completely worth it. It doesn't look cheap to me, like you would sometimes expect from some DIYs to be from Dollar Tree. I think this turned out super cute and very charming, very rustic in a farmhouse so style, and it's very trendy. I'm hoping that you guys love this, and it's very easy to do, so you shouldn't have really too much problems being able to replicate this.

I went to Dollar Tree and grabbed some picture frames. Grabbed a wire basket, some foam balls they're just foam craft balls. And then the galvanized letters actually came from Walmart, which were a dollar 98 I believe, a piece, and I just bought four to spell out snow. To kind of go with the fact that I was gonna have this little bucket of faux snowballs.

I used just my cutting tool, which I got at Hobby Lobby, and I used a little bit of hot glue, that was basically all that you needed to put this together. I took apart those picture frames from Dollar Tree and found my favorite scrapbook piece of paper that I thought complemented the frame and the galvanized letter really well.

And then I've always laid down the scrapbook paper first, especially if I'm gluing anything that's kind of like 3-dimensional. I don't know if it's three-dimensional but you know I mean if it's like bulky I'm not gonna put the glass frame first; I'm gonna put the paper first so that I can then hot glue the object to the paper, and then I still keep the glass frame I just put it behind the image. Just to kind of give it some extra support in the picture frame.

And that way if I ever want to repurpose these picture frames into something else, I'll always still have the glass frame that came with it. And as soon as I picked out my scrapbook paper, I cut it to size fit it into the frame and then I used a little bit of hot glue to add the letters to the center of the frame.

I love these picture frames; I don't know if you can really tell but they have like this dark brown wood effect so I thought it really complemented like the whole look that I was going for. Yeah, that's basically it. So I just did that for all four frames and I will say that the W is actually an M, but Walmart I could not find a W so I just repurposed the M and turned it upside down, and it was just a W for me.

Once I completed my frames, I took my wire basket which also got at Dollar Tree, and they have these baskets in black as well. And of course, if you really needed to, you could always spray-paint them to like whatever color you want. And then I just filled it up with a couple of these little packages of these foam balls from the craft aisle at Dollar Tree.

And poured those in; love how there's like different sizes and then they are selling some of the bigger large foam balls individually, so I only bought two because I just didn't want to spend that much money on faux snowballs if you will. But it was as simple as just opening up the package pouring them into the basket, and then I saved the two individual larger foam balls to put on top.

It was that simple. You guys again, I will list the total cost and all the materials down below for you, I hope that you guys enjoyed this video, and I'll see you again soon.
