FRENCH WINE COUNTRY, LOIRE VALLEY WINE TASTING, MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANT _ PARIS VLOGS DAY 7

Good Morning and Welcome Back to My Channel

The host, Brooke, welcomed her audience back to her channel, stating that they were still in Paris, France at 6:50 am. She mentioned that their car would pick them up within the next five minutes for a three-hour drive to visit two wineries and have a beautiful lunch. Brooke expressed her excitement about sharing this experience with her viewers and invited them to subscribe to her channel and give her videos a thumbs up.

Before departing, Brooke wanted to ensure that her audience was aware of the itinerary for the day. She confirmed that they would be visiting three places, including two wineries and one beautiful lunch spot. This was in contrast to California, where the soil lacked slate, a key component that contributed to the unique flavor of Shenan Blanc wine produced by an organic vineyard.

Their tour guide arrived promptly, taking them on a tour of two wineries within a country area. Brooke praised the beauty of their surroundings, including the organic vineyard known for its Shenan Blanc wine. She explained that the soil in this region had slate in it, which gave it an amazing flavor. The host also highlighted the unique filtration and mixing process used at these wineries.

Brooke's enthusiasm for the experience led her to take some time to explore the barrel room of one of the wineries. She expressed her excitement about witnessing this process firsthand, describing it as "cool" and "amazing." She also mentioned that she wanted to make sure everyone guessed correctly about the location of their meeting.

After visiting the first winery, Brooke and her audience continued on to the second chateau. They met an Irish couple during lunch, engaging in a lengthy conversation for over an hour and a half about different types of cultures and history throughout Europe. Unfortunately, they missed the entire second half of the wine tasting due to their late arrival.

The host wanted to bring her viewers along with them as they explored the second chateau. She highlighted its expansive properties, including grand vineyards, huge parks, and extensive lawns. Although she couldn't show everyone the full extent of the property due to poor lighting, Brooke expressed her amazement at its beauty.

As a special note, Brooke informed her audience that this particular chateau was still inhabited by the family, which received government assistance for upkeep. The French government decided to provide financial support to chateaus by allowing them to open their lower levels and non-living areas as museums. This way, they could generate revenue while maintaining the property.

Brooke's group visited a beautiful river, grasslands, and other estates within the same region. They were able to sample several wines produced on this grand acreage, purchasing two bottles that they planned to drink later during their trip. The host described the scenery as "seriously the most scenic place" compared to Napa Valley.

To wrap up the vlog, Brooke wanted to thank her audience for watching and invited them to subscribe to her channel. She also asked for a big thumbs up on the video and encouraged viewers to head over to her channel to see more friends' vlogs before bidding farewell.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: engood morning and welcome back to my channel or if you're new here welcome i'm brooke and i make lifestyle videos so we are still here in paris france it is like 6 50 a.m and we are getting ready to leave for a wine tour so i'm already dressed ready to go um our car is picking us up within the next five minutes it's a three hour drive in case you're wondering why this is so aggressive we are not drinking this early in the morning we just need to go over there and then we're doing a wine tour of like three places and then driving back tonight so that's what we're doing today and i'm excited to be bringing you guys along if you haven't already don't forget subscribe below give this video a big thumbs up and don't forget to head over to my channel and check out all the other france videos there will be a ton okay guys let's get into it so we just got here to this beautiful area and we just found our tour guide if you will she's going to be taking us around to two wineries in this one country area and a beautiful lunch look how beautiful so this one this is an organic vineyard and it's known for shenan blanc and what makes them so special is that their soil has um it has slate in it and the slate is what helps give it it this amazing like flavor so that's why we can't recreate it in california because we don't have slate naturally in our soil so because they bring by pollinating a lot of different flowers they've been just again in the vines so this is so here's how they make the wine i'm used to huge vats that look like this okay they do have some back here look at these but these are so cool to replace those without they are all but if you like the filtration the mixing english oh yeah i wouldn't really try because so these big ones they sit on the skins and when it's juice only they switch to the small ones you need only the juice if you feel white you can you can press it yeah and add the juice and start the fermentation but if you want to do red can you sit on the skin yeah this is so cool we are in the barrel room guys we are in the barrel room look how cool this is i wanted to make you guess i'm here to take care of this uh of this boss from the from the invoice to taking care of the people i want to do my board meetings here this morning and i'm keeping some of them okay so they have many smaller tasting rooms it's so cool thank you europe i am just blown away by these prices okay like a good i would say 80. so i have confirmed that i've been recording in camera mode and not filming mode which is why that it keeps skipping and it's not as smooth so from here on out should be better have enough time here is the second chateau so at lunch we met an irish couple that we ended up talking to for like an hour and a half we missed the entire second half of the first um wine tasting but we talked we talked about them about like different type of cultures history like all throughout europe and stuff and it was amazing we loved it so much so now we are at the we are a little late for the second wine tasting so we just got here and i'll bring you guys along so this is the second chateau oh my gosh do we get to go in wow the entire property is so expansive and huge i don't know if you guys can hear me over the wind but there are like grand vineyards huge parks like back here behind the castle and then just huge expansive lawns it just really is beautiful wow i wish i could show you guys more but just the sun is not on our side all right so we've been told we can only take photos so we're just gonna kind of move around pretend like they're photos no filming aloud there's a new day to leave behind your troubles there's a new day and it will set you free there's a new day to get you through your strokes i will always think of you and me darling you've got to keep holding on through the night cause i promise you this if you try to get so we were informed that this chateau is still um inhabited which means that they are receiving some like government assistance so basically if you are chateau it's pretty expensive to upkeep the property so what the french government did was they decided that if asiatol were to open like the lower levels or like the non-living areas to the public as like a museum they would give them like government financial assistance so that's what this chateau is doing so now we're kind of walking the grounds sorry i'm a little out of breath it's actually really large um we just passed this beautiful like river and everything and these huge huge like grasslands and property and there are a whole bunch of other estates like right here in addition to the grand chateau which is this one right here and then there are other ones like this one right behind me here there are a number of different ones on the property and we're just kind of wandering around seeing what's here they do make wine here as well they're on like the grand acres and such they have an array of vineyards and they make a few different types of wine so so we were able to try a few of them and we bought two bottles and we're going to take them back to the hotel drink them later at some point in this trip probably not tonight because we have a three hour drive back and it is already five so probably not today but we are excited to do that and this is just seriously the most scenic place i mean we're from we're from sacramento near napa known for wine it is nothing as scenic and incredible as this wine country has napa has nothing on this really these are the two bottles we just got from the chateau um i would tell you the name of them but i can't read them um some sort of cabernet and some sort of something else also aren't cabernets usually red so interesting that here they're almost like a rose color beautiful though props darren for the awesome hand rotation work we just found a map of the chateau so here's the chateau here's where we entered here's the property can you imagine trying to upkeep this or even just trying to walk it in a single day wow that's crazy all right guys so we just left that chateau and we're heading back on a three hour drive back to the hotel so i'm gonna go ahead and end the vlog here if you haven't already don't forget subscribe below give this video a big thumbs up and if you haven't already don't forget head over to my channel see all the other friends vlogs and i will see you in the next one bye guys keep\n"
