**Unboxing and First Look: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3**

I've finally got my hands on the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, and I'm excited to share my unboxing experience with you. As soon as I took the phone out of its packaging, I was impressed by its sleek design and premium build quality.

The first thing that caught my attention was the battery life on a typical full working day. I've heard mixed reviews about the battery life on this phone, but I'm a little bit annoyed by Samsung's decision to put only 3300 milliamp hour battery in it, considering its wireless charging features and other premium features like fast charging. I think they should have given at least 25 watt fast charging if a person needs to top up their phone quickly. Business users, for example, might be using this phone, and battery life is an important thing. We'll have to see how it behaves in terms of battery life, as my only worry.

**Fingerprint Scanner and Camera**

Moving on to the fingerprint scanner, I was impressed by its functionality. The camera on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a punch hole design with a 10-megapixel sensor, but the main two cameras are this one - a 12-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and a 12-megapixel secondary camera with ultraviolet capabilities.

The camera app is user-friendly, with modes like extra mode, director's view, pro mode, and more. The camera layout is typical of Samsung smartphones, but the addition of features like director's view and pro mode make it more functional. One feature that I liked was the ability to preview images on the back screen. It also allows you to take selfies using the rear-facing camera.

**Ultra-Wide Camera**

The ultra-wide camera is another impressive feature of this phone. The wide-angle lens is quite good, and I didn't notice any color distortion in outdoor conditions. In indoor lighting conditions, the image quality was still decent. When compared to other smartphones with similar cameras, the Galaxy Z Flip 3's camera performs well.

**Portrait Mode**

I also tested the portrait mode on this phone, and I'm happy to say that it did a great job in capturing images. The image sharpness is good, even in outdoor conditions. However, indoor lighting conditions can sometimes result in artificial sharpening. Overall, the camera performance of this phone is excellent.

**Additional Features**

One feature that I liked was the ability to double-tap on the screen to reveal the fingerprint scanner and take calls or play media. The cover screen also goes away after some time, but you can double-tap to bring it back up. This adds a touch of convenience to the phone's design.

**Conclusion**

Overall, I'm happy with my experience with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. It looks great, has a premium build quality, and performs well in terms of camera performance. The addition of features like director's view and pro mode make it more functional. However, my only concern is how the 3300 milliamp hour battery will behave if you're someone who doesn't like to top up their phone regularly.

I'll have to see how this phone behaves over time to determine its true potential. For now, I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to share more of my experience with you in future videos.

that black grayish color even this one the rev unit that was sent the same color this actually comes in a lot of interesting colors i would say the cream and others they look actually pretty cool so here is the device itself and this has what do you say gorilla glass victus and of course yes it folds like this and if you have noticed the box i completely forgot it's so thin that means no what do you say charger or anything in fact hardly anything apart from this some paperwork will be here and your uh cable and sim ejector that's it so no charger in the box guys uh that's the new trend i guess with every flagship iphone started it then with s21 we saw that now even with this one sad trend uh but the thing is that okay fine you haven't given the charger but the thing is that uh this one the maximum charging support is is just 15 watts they should have at least given 25 watts of charging like they did on this one so that's what i have noticed uh so here is the device itself and i have to say in hand field the first impressions it looks actually nice and uh samsung says that even this aluminum is what they have used they call it armor ammonium marketing terms but they say it's stronger so the hinge mechanism i definitely have to say is a little bit better on this one so i like that and a big deal is the screen we'll boot it up the the front screen is a lot bigger it's almost four times bigger now it's a 1.9 inch amoled screen of course the inner screen is a 6.7 inch hamlet and let me give you a physical overview first again uh on the top we do have a secondary uh noise cancellation microphone and again this is that aluminium chasis and it actually feels nice guys so here we have the volume rocker again the fingerprint scanner come the power button as this one and here bottom this area we don't have anything bottom will be the speaker and this one also will get stereo speaker so we look at how is the output on this one your type c port that we use for charging and we actually have two slots over here for microphones so nice cancellation hopefully should be better and here we get the sim slot i'm interested to see what they do with the sim slot because if you recall the full three i was not expecting it but we got a proper dual sim dual nano sim on that one so let's see let me just open this up so oh this is just uh what are you saying uh one nano sim guys so one nano sim and the second sim will be e sim so that's what we have uh back cameras these two are 12 megapixel main camera is second is 12 megapixel and this punch hole will be like your 10 megapixel that's your selfie camera but again you can even take selfies like this so let me do one thing uh let me just powered this on and guys here at the side are the specs so let me just set this up and uh then we will continue so guys i've set up this device so let's have a closer look at the same now so here this is in the folded mode and again as i've told you you have the screen this is slightly bigger by default it will not uh be visible you can switch on always on but i will not suggest because of the battery size but if you tap in it opens up and this dot means we have some notifications so if you swipe so you can read some of the notifications here and you can also add your widgets so i feel this is a lot more functional now uh this is like the moto razr which actually that one has even slightly bigger but again you can add some widgets and your cameras are here these are rear facing but again as you can use it even like this i'll show you uh so let's just open it up now and your fingerprint scanner is here and it works fine one thing i noticed initially is that if you notice the fingerprint scanner is here at the top so i feel like you have to stretch your fingers here it would have been more logical if they would have kept it here because your fingers rest here but yeah i think so you'll get used to it within a day or so and this is the screen and i have to say uh though it's a foldable screen it looks really nice and there is a screen protector that is attached to this you are not supposed to remove that and i would say this is a lot better screen protector compared to what samsung used to do with their earlier foldables this does not feel that sticky a plasticky thing it feels more or less like a glass so that's an improvement and i noticed that even with this four three the inner screen still has that protection but uh definitely it does not feel that rubbery and sticky feel that we had on the earlier fort so uh that's an improvement and samsung says that due to that even the protection is slightly it's more durable they say again guys not to poke because while i was setting up this uh smartphone i just saved the screen while you set it up they say take care so you're not supposed to poke uh this internal screen with a pin or your fingernails like that and again uh the good thing is that this phone they say is water resistant ipx8 so that's actually really nice uh and i'm really happy that samsung was able to make this water resistant so it's ipx8 but again still i would say it's a little bit uh what do you say it's not this phones are not for people who are very rough users guys uh though it's a lot more durable now but again still i would say you got to take care of this one but now this does not feel like a prototype or something uh it initial impressions it gives a nice feel vibe and i have to say the quality the build quality the material the aluminum etc that it feels really really solid uh this time so let's open this up and again uh typical samsung one ui that you get uh there are some of course a bucket load of samsung apps it's a samsung device as you can see so almost every samsung app is pre-loaded all again google apps and microsoft office and some of the microsoft partnership tools are there on this one uh facebook was there and apart from that spotify was also their netflix apart from that i did not find any bloatware i didn't install the cpu z uh because i just wanted to show you guys uh this one also comes with the snapdragon 888 in fact all the foldables this year launched by samsung have the snapdragon 888 there's no exynos variant and guys uh this comes with eight gigabytes of ram and storage as i've told you will be in two uh variants i actually did not install a lot of stuff i just let this install what do you say do its uh basic update so let's see if i go over here let's just move to the dark theme i think so dark theme looks really cool dark mode yeah a lot nicer and let's look at how much storage is left because that's the big difference between that 85 thousand rupees variant and the eighty nine thousand here is a screenshot guys because this is a review unit i got this and initially there are some offers also as you can see just pause the screen that is some seven thousand rupees offer if you buy it right credit card anyways if we go over where is this lock screen so advanced battery and device scale yeah here we'll have storage so about 20 29 gigabytes is sort of used so roughly you're going to get about 99 gigabytes of space or something so that is important guys because again decide based on your storage guys uh for me 120 at that 100 gigabytes is enough but i know many people for whom that might not be enough store a lot of stuff then you might have to bump up to the 256 gigabyte uh variant on this one let's again look at the fingerprint scanner and that's good but only thing as i've told you uh i have to stretch my hands the logical position would have been better here but yeah that's just me let's just fold again and it's very smooth this motion is very smooth so they have done a great job with the hinge on this one and let's also look at the speakers because samsung claims this is having now stereo speakers so let's fire up youtube and uh let's just go to copyright free music and just let's let's play this one i'm just going to increase the volume just let's skip it a little bit as you can see let's go to full screen and the screen quality is good let me increase the volume so good speakers let me give you and speak microphone this side i would say uh 60 of the sound is coming from this side 40 percent here but still a very immersive experience nice to see that i've put this and regarding the crease guys when you're watching content like this uh et cetera you hardly noticed that crease i've been using foldables for a long time many people are worried about but when you're regularly working you just don't notice that it's like that notch after some time you just forget about the notch it's like that and okay one more thing actually these smartphones do i play that uh they have this cover mode so as you can see it divides so you can browse your stuff like that so these are some of the things that they have added and these works in a couple of apps for example i think so in the camera app it takes a lot better advantage of that one and i like the enhanced feel of this device it simply does not feel that heavy or feels super delicate that that that is what i can say so uh definitely this out of chases the new aluminum what they are using feels actually pretty sturdy but again guys as i've told you this is not a device for rough users uh i'll be blunt about that uh and uh what what else and uh only thing i am a little bit skeptical guys is this has 3300 milliamp hour battery and the snapdragon 88 is a very powerful processor again good thing is this is 120 hertz and everything so very very smooth as you can see no issues that like that but i'll have to see how will be the battery life on a typical uh full working day and i'm a little bit annoyed by samsung okay everything even the pro mode etc they have given directors view pro video all those things they have given but if you move it like this so as you can see now it's divided the screen so top area is your preview bottom actually you can use the shutter and actually swap it if you want as you can see so this is giving a little bit more functionality i would say uh to this one and uh you can even if you notice the back uh screen is not i can actually preview that even on the back now what i can do is i think so if i want to take a selfie from this camera with the rear facing you know it's better you can easily frame it and take the snap so actually you can use even the front facing camera for video and like this way so i think so they are taking advantage of these small small things on this one and uh and this is the ultra wide the ultrawide is actually pretty wide so let me do one thing let me actually take some sample shots with this one so that you have a better idea regarding the camera so these samples were taken with the rear facing camera and outdoor conditions and as you can see in outdoor conditions does a good job the wide angle is also pretty good as you can see this was the regular shot and this was that wide-angle color distortion is not there now these were taken in completely artificial lighting in my office and i feel it does a decent job as you can see even the wide angle there is no color distortion and again this one is a little bit sharp but in portrait mode i felt it was better this was that wide-angle lens again an artificial lighting as you can see there is artificial sharpening but in portrait mode it's much better and these were taken with the front facing camera that's a 10 megapixel and as you can see they came out good these were in portrait mode now same 10 megapixel in artificial lighting conditions and these were taken with the portrait 4k mode so guys uh that's it for now for the unboxing and first look at this galaxy z flip
