Welcome to Theus Booth at Computex 2015, where we have the opportunity to showcase some of the latest and greatest technology on the market. Today, we're here to talk about a 34-inch curved G-Sync monitor that's sure to impress.
First off, we want to extend our gratitude to MSI for sending us this incredible monitor. Without their support, we wouldn't be able to share this amazing technology with you all today. So thank you, MSI, for being an integral part of making this event possible.
Now, let's take a closer look at the monitor itself. This 34-inch curved display is rocking IPS technology, which provides stunning color accuracy and a wide viewing angle. The resolution is impressive, coming in at 3440 x 1440 pixels, making it perfect for gaming, video editing, or anything else that requires high-quality visuals.
One of the most interesting features of this monitor is its tilt swivel height adjustment. While it may seem like a simple feature, it's actually quite impressive considering the size and complexity of the display. And, as expected, there is no pivot option – we're told that would be "ridiculous" given the monitor's massive size and potential for damage.
The physical construction of the monitor is also noteworthy. The aluminum frame is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides a premium feel to the overall design. The bezels are incredibly thin, which helps to minimize distractions and ensure an immersive viewing experience.
Moving on to the stand, it's worth noting that the initial design may seem unremarkable at first glance. However, there's a surprising feature hidden beneath the surface – a light that projects an R logo onto your desk. We're not entirely sure what to make of this, but we can appreciate the attention to detail and creativity that went into its implementation.
The monitor's controls are conveniently located on the far right-hand side, just behind the display. There's also a joystick control that provides access to various features, including Turbo Hotkey, Game Plus, and Game Visual functions. These advanced features allow for precise adjustments to be made in-game or during video playback.
One of the standout features of this monitor is its low latency – we're talking about 5ms here, which is incredibly fast considering the display's size. While it may not be a huge surprise given the technology behind G-Sync, it's still impressive nonetheless.
As we prepare to wrap up our time with this incredible monitor, we want to acknowledge that objective reviews of displays at events like Computex can be challenging due to the sheer scale and complexity of these products. Nevertheless, we're excited to share more insights and information about this amazing display in future articles.
For those who might be wondering, there are actually other monitors on the market that feature G-Sync technology – specifically, the MG278Q and MG279Q. The former boasts a TN panel with 1ms response time, while the latter features an IPS panel with 4ms response time. While we won't delve too deeply into these models here, it's worth noting that they're also part of MSI's lineup and are sure to appeal to fans of G-Sync.
Of course, no Computex event would be complete without a shoutout to our sponsors – in this case, MSI and Linda.com. We want to extend a huge thank you to both for their support, which has made it possible for us to bring you the latest news and reviews from the show.
Before we say goodbye for now, we'd love to hear from you – which of these monitors would you like to see featured in more depth? Let us know in the comments below or hit us up on Twitter at @Lukor_LFR. And don't forget to check out our Computex 2015 coverage page for all the latest news and updates.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthanks to MSI again for sending us to this year we would not be here without them and also thank you to linda.com all right guys welcome to Theus Booth again for a 34-in curved g-sync monitor this 34-in monitor roing IPS technology 3440 X 1440 pixels tilt swivel height adjustment no pivot because that would be ridiculous cuz you'd smack it into the table all the time and nobody really wants a vertically curved monitor anyways so just don't worry about that is very interesting it has beautiful aluminum construction all around it looks great tiny little bezels the actual physical bezel of the outside of the monitor is very thin although you do have a border on each uh the the top and left and right sides and the the stand looks really cool at first it's just like oh that's an interesting new design nothing majorly different but there is a light on the bottom which projects an RI logo onto your desk which is I don't know I think that's pretty badass but I think that's up to you to decide what you think about that and there's an r logo on the very back of the monitor the controls for the monitor are on the far right hand side just on the back and there's a little joystick control along with a whole bunch of buttons because there are tons of features on the monitor like little fun stuff like turbo hotkey game plus and game visual functions and that includes things like the the Crosshair that they can put on the screen for you or any other kind of Auto adjustment things or changing your the refresh rate of the monitor really really quickly on the fly in terms of latency we're talking about 5 m milliseconds which is not super surprising judging by everything else that's in this monitor that's about what I expected and that's kind of it we'll probably need a more Hands-On review of this and I'm sure once lonus sees this he'll want to get his hands on it so I wouldn't be super surprised at all if we had a full indepth review all I can say right now is it looks absolutely beautiful but objective reviews of a monitor at a show is not great considering all the crazy lights and everything that's going on so stay tuned to the line of SE tips for more on this monitor now I have curved and g-sync are not really your thing and you're more into flat and freesync you've got the mg278 Q and The mg279 Q the 278 Q is a TN panel at 1 millisecond response time and the 279 Q is an IPS panel at 4 milliseconds response time I'm not going to go too in-depth on these because lonus has a video on them from CES but I also want to give them a shout out because they are coming out extremely soon I think in the next kind of month or two so stay tuned for that all right guys let me know in the comments down below which one of these three monitors is your which one would you pick up or let me know on Twitter at lukor LFR another thing right before we leave thank you to MSI for sending us here this year we would not be here
