The New Porsche GT3: A Thrilling Experience
As I stepped inside the new Porsche GT3, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The car was brand new, with only 1,100 kilometres on it, and had been generously lent to me by a subscriber for my YouTube channel who lives nearby. This was perfect timing, as I had missed out on getting the press car before the winter season began. The first half an hour of driving this incredible machine left me beaming with joy, my hairs standing up in amazement, and a sense of euphoria that even rivalled the thrill of last week's events.
The GT3 is undoubtedly a cool car, with its distinctive sound that creates drama wherever it goes. As I jumped into the driver's seat, I felt an electric surge of excitement that was unmatched by any other experience I had ever had. The engine roared to life beneath me, and as we hit the open road, I felt my heart pumping with anticipation. Unfortunately, the next couple of days were forecasted to be rainy, which made it impossible for me to truly push the car to its limits. However, I was determined to make the most of our time together and share my first impressions of this incredible machine.
The GT3 is an absolute weapon on the road, with its impressive 500 horsepower from the 4-liter flat-six engine making it a force to be reckoned with. The sound of the engine at high revs is simply incredible, singing like a symphony that leaves you breathless. Over the next few videos, I plan to showcase this incredible sound in all its glory. This car is also remarkably lightweight, thanks to its magnesium roof and carbon fiber rear end parts. It's an absolute joy to drive, making me feel like I'm one with the road.
I must admit that driving the GT3 has made it to my list of dream cars – a car I would love to own one day. The GT4 is already on my radar, but this Porsche takes the cake as a true sports car enthusiast's ideal vehicle. For now, I have to admit that owning such an expensive machine might be out of reach for me in the near future, but it's certainly worth the splurge.
As I drove around the city, taking in the sights and sounds of the GT3's impressive features, one thing caught my eye – the wing in the back. Unlike some other variants, this particular GT3 doesn't come with a half cage on top. Personally, I think this design choice is pure genius, making it even more visually stunning than its competitors. And let me tell you, when you're driving this car and catch yourself glancing at your rearview mirror, that wing makes for quite the sight.
Another aspect of the GT3 worth mentioning is its transmission – specifically, the PDK. Some might view it as forgettable compared to human-driven laps, but trust me, this PDK in the GT3 can hold its own against even the most skilled drivers. It changes gear so quickly and with such precision that you'd be hard-pressed to keep up with it if you tried to push it yourself.
As I got to know the GT3 better, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at how well it performs on the track – or even just around corners in general. It's truly a machine that pushes you, not the other way around. In short, this car is an absolute revelation for any driver looking to hone their skills and push their limits.
In conclusion, driving the new Porsche GT3 has left me with nothing but positive impressions and a desire to get behind the wheel once again. Whether I can manage to make it to the track with it remains to be seen, but I do know one thing for certain – this car will undoubtedly make anyone who gets to experience it a better driver, as long as they're willing to take it out for a spin.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enmorning everyone and welcome inside the new Porsche gt3 now I picked this up last night I actually don't have this directly from Porsche because the waiting list for the new GT III Prescott was just massive but luckily for me a subscriber for my youtube channel got in touch who lives really close to me has just brought this car it's brand new it's got the first 1,100 kilometres on and asked if I would like to take it for a week of filming so really big thank you to him this was perfect timing considering I couldn't get my hands on the press car before the winter came now honestly the first half an hour driving this I was just smiling the whole time my hairs were standing up in the end it gave me such a special feeling it excited me more than the event at all I had last week now the events at all it's more funny than anything it was fun to drive it is a cool car it makes it really cool noise and just creates drama wherever you go but then jumping from the invented oil into this this just excited me so much more it really got my heart pumping just to drive and really drive properly unfortunately like today the next couple of days are raining which absolutely sucks because I do not really want to drive this car in bad weather you know I want to try and push the car a little bit and with the ties this car already hasn't it they're already a bit sketchy in the dry until you worn them up and in the wet especially things meet pretty interesting so today we'll be taking it relatively easy today's video is really just first impressions and they are really excited to show this car that's really what today is for me just going out for my first day in the gt3 and just having fun so that being said let's start the car and go for a drive in the rain unfortunately which is a big shame but later on in the week the weather looks a lot better this lift system by the way works perfectly especially driving around Zurich the speed bumps everywhere and it's so fast and yet really just worked perfectly anyway regardless of the weather I'm gonna go and try and make the best of it because there is no way I'm missing out when driving this car today first feeling I got from driving this car back last night was this car is an absolute weapon and it really is with just under 500 horsepower from the 4 liter flat 6 that sounds incredible when you push the revs high it just sings it really does and over the next few videos I really want to show you that sound maybe not today with the weather conditions but at one point I definitely will be focusing just on the pure pleasure this car gives you when you push the revs high it's pretty lightweight it's got a magnesium roof the back end parts are made from carbon fiber and it just feels incredible this is probably one of the best cars I've driven oh yeah just from that drive phone last night you really gave me such a incredible sensation most of you know I loved the gt4 this is a car I would just love to own one day I would love my first sports car to be GT for this is now definitely on my list the one day in I don't know how many years that I could afford to pay off a car like this but this just made me smile so much one of my favorite things when driving this which you might go to just see in the camera is the wing in the back so this one doesn't have the half cage he decided on top of it I would personally have I think it looks absolutely epic the half gauge in the back obviously it would also potentially save your life but hopefully you were never needed but I would have it purely for looks factor anyway when you're driving this and you're looking in the mirror and you see the wing it's you can't stop looking in the rear view mirror honestly that wing just looks so good and it makes me smile constantly now what about the spec that the owner went on this car he went for the black ones and the white body now I think the white amiss looks just absolutely stunning really I took a few pictures of her last night and it just look beautiful now he's got the red brake callipers on which look great but then he's got yellow seat boats which don't particularly match now I love the yellow seat boats but from I would then have the yellow brake callipers as well I don't know if that's possible or then you have red sea boats but I am loving this yellow against the black it looks super cool now I posted a picture of this on my Instagram last night and one of the main comments and questions that are received in my messages was is it manual and no it's not a manual it is the PDK now I know a lot of you will be disappointed about that and I am a little bit too in a way I think obviously a manual would be incredible in this car you can't get much more of a real driver's guide gt3 in a manual it's gonna be just so much fun however the PDK which I think some people forget about is just unbelievable in this car and let's face it the PDK in the gt3 can just do it better than any human can do if you're just wanting to be the best lap times and drive fast the most efficiently then the PDK is obviously the one to go for it works so good annoyingly good if that's such a thing it just changes gear so quick and so perfectly I mean just listen how quick this change is geared how perfectly it's as quick as you can blink it's just perfect listen to that it really does scream thrown into a corner it just absolutely to the road and you know this car can go around this corner log faster than I can I would love to take this car to the track I tell you really pushing this and the track must just be an incredible feeling what I feel like also is this car will make me or is making me a better driver can't get enough who you want to do in this car is just haha it really makes you feel that special plane you just want to push it the car pushes you I really feel like this car make me a better driver I think it would make anyone a better driver you of course have to respect me just don't want to stop driving I want to do more corners play corn has kissed yes oh yes very much a big yes for this car out of wasting fuel today let's hit the engine saying oh yes what a machine what a magnificent piece of German engineering this is just about to get home now before we do let's do another acceleration just listen to it scream I need a gt3 in my life I think guys I have a new favorite car or new dream car go really Thank You Porsche for making this because I'm having so much fun that was just Wow well I cannot wait to see what the rest of week old so I shall see you very soon again\n"
