**Reading Goals and Book List**
As I sit here reflecting on my reading goals for the year, I must admit that I have an obsession with vampires. It's not just one book that sparked this fascination, but rather a combination of factors that have led me to become enthralled by these creatures of the night. One of the books that set me on this path was "Wildfire" by Hannah Grace, which is actually a sequel to "Icebreaker". I recall TikTok blowing it up and thinking it was worth checking out, but ultimately found it to be just okay.
However, my excitement for vampires was reignited when I discovered another book that caught my attention. Although I don't remember the title (it's stuck in my mind as a summer camp setting), it was a really cute read. The thought of finding another vampire-themed novel has left me feeling hopeful and eager to dive into its pages.
My list of books to read this year is quite extensive, with a mix of fiction and non-fiction titles that I've been eyeing for some time. Non-fiction has always been a favorite genre of mine, and one book that has been on my library list forever is "I Feel You" by Britney Spears. As someone who grew up listening to Britney's music, reading her autobiography feels like a duty-bound obligation to my inner 13-14 year old self.
Of course, vampires are not the only creatures of fantasy that I'm drawn to. Sarah Adams' books have also caught my attention, with "Practice Makes Perfect" being the sequel to "When in Rome". Her stories are known for being cutesy and clean, with small-town romances that seem like a perfect escape from reality. The thought of reading more of her work is exciting, especially since I've already enjoyed two of her books.
My love for fantasy author Karissa Broadband has led me to discover another vampire-themed novel called "Slang: The Vampire Conqueror". I was thrilled when I learned that this book was part of a series, as it's one of my favorite fantasy novels. With its captivating premise and promises of an epic adventure, I can hardly wait to dive into the world of vampires.
Another author who has piqued my interest is Maria Zapata, known for her Lukov Duet series. Her books have been praised for their unique blend of romance and sports fiction, which sounds like a winning combination. Although I've only read two of her books so far, I'm eager to explore more of her backlist and discover what other stories she has in store.
In the realm of Western romances, Elsie Silver's books have caught my attention, particularly "Flawless", which is part of a series that promises sweeping romance and drama. With its focus on small-town life and relationships, I'm intrigued by the prospect of reading more of her work.
My final confession is that I've recently stumbled upon an author named Ka Tucker, whose books promise a blend of fantasy and romance. "Fate of Wrath and Flame" seems like an exciting addition to my TBR list, as it delves into a world of magic and adventure. Although I don't know much about her other works, the thought of exploring more of her stories has left me feeling hopeful.
Last but not least, I've added another book to my list: "A Dawn of Onyx" by Kate Golden. As part of an epic fantasy romance trilogy, this book promises a thrilling adventure that spans multiple worlds and characters. With its promise of magic, action, and suspense, I'm eager to dive into the world of The Sacred Stones.
**Reading Goals**
One of my main goals for this year is to read more physical books. As someone who's been accumulating digital books on their e-reader, it's time to revisit my love for paperbacks. With 24 books on my list, I'm excited about the prospect of tackling them one by one and making progress in my reading journey.
While some of these titles are new releases, others have been sitting on my TBR cart for quite some time. I've decided to focus on reading these non-new release books first, as they're already familiar to me and don't require any research or background knowledge.
I must admit that the thought of reading all 24 books in one go is daunting, but it's also exciting to have a clear goal in mind. Whether I manage to finish them all before my next video or not, I'm confident that this exercise will help me develop my reading skills and increase my reading speed.
As always, I appreciate your feedback and encouragement. If you've read any of these books, please share your thoughts with me! I'd love to hear about your experiences and discover new authors and series to add to my TBR list.
