Calvin goes on to share his concerns about the handling of his car, stating that he feels it's not responding as expected. "That's for sure have you had a chance to look at the data yet," he asks, seeking our input on the issue. Our conversation is filled with technical jargon and inside knowledge of the world of racing. Calvin explains that they've made significant changes to the pump side, which has allowed them to increase their power output by a substantial margin. "We're trying to go for a thousand rpm difference and where it is grabbing with so the only way to do it is to change the pump size," he explains.

As we talk about Calvin's goals for the upcoming races, it becomes clear that he's focused on pushing the limits of his car. "I think if we could do try to do a 60-68-67 in the heat of the day it'll be pretty tough for these guys to keep up," he says. With a confident smile, Calvin shares his strategy for tackling the challenge ahead. Our conversation is filled with insights and expertise, giving our readers a unique glimpse into the world of high-performance racing.

The Track and Its Challenges

Calvin's experience on the track is nothing short of impressive. Despite the challenges posed by the track itself, he remains focused and determined to achieve his goals. "It looks like the track's even worse than it was yesterday," he observes, noting that the conditions may make it more difficult for competitors to perform well.

As we discuss Calvin's approach to racing, he emphasizes the importance of being different from the competition. "We just gotta try to be different than everybody now," he advises. With a quick glance at his car, which is adorned with a unique setup, Calvin shares his strategy for outsmarting the opposition. With access to the data from previous rounds, Calvin is able to analyze his performance and make informed decisions about how to improve. "I'm gonna look at it uh what's your what's your butt tell you where you can," he asks, seeking our input on the data.

Our conversation highlights the importance of data analysis in high-performance racing. By examining the data from previous rounds, Calvin is able to identify areas for improvement and make adjustments to his car accordingly. "We got a lot more yeah yeah i mean like that was just the confidence booster from doing all the changes we made last night," he says, acknowledging the impact of their recent modifications on their performance.

The Future of Racing and Spark Plugs

With a focus on pushing the limits of what's possible, he remains committed to achieving excellence in the world of high-performance driving. "I think it'll be one or two rounds under the sun superchargers," he says, hinting at the possibility of new technologies and innovations that could shape the future of racing.

Finally, we turn our attention to a fascinating topic: spark plugs. Calvin explains that when a plug is pulled out, it can indicate a range of problems with the engine, including fuel leaks or ignition issues. "It means that you're not firing you're not burning anything it's not doing it just spraying fuel on it not igniting exactly," he explains, providing our readers with a clear understanding of this critical component.

As we wrap up our conversation with Calvin, it's clear that he's a true expert in the world of high-performance racing. With his passion for speed and innovation driving him forward, he remains committed to pushing the limits of what's possible on the track. Whether you're a seasoned racing enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates the art of fine-tuning, Calvin's story is sure to captivate and inspire.

around 28 2900 horsepower you know i gotta ask you one thing i was standing right behind the car on that last pass i love how the suspension works on these well most of the cars here can you explain a little bit about why the back end lifts up so much yeah just pretty much have a whirling setup and how the way we run the suspension what we're doing is we're trying to separate the rear end to plant the tire as hard as we can pretty much switch the tire into the ground and apply as much power we can in 60 feet that's how a nitrous car is gonna run in right it's so wild to watch because how much does it lift up in the back unit uh yeah it goes about nine eight oh it's like it's like eight and three quarters eight inches from what it sits on the starting line to when you're done in the run yeah by around 60 foot to about 100 feet out it's pretty much all the way topped out it's crazy to see what it takes to run mid threes up upper threes in these stars if we can get down there we'll be uh really happy yeah you're almost to the 60s i'm excited to see if you can do it tonight yeah absolutely good luck man performance on board in the left leg talking to calvin earlier about the rear bet that felt great it felt the fast ones always feel slow yeah yeah i don't know we'll find another thing now too where the car kind of appears a little bit but i think it's just i noticed that i think it's the we just need to line the steering wheel i think it's just me holding the wheel you know i'm like we changed the front struts before we got here and we haven't really messed with the steering but i was telling him i was like i feel like the car doesn't really drive like that it drives itself you know what i mean realistically i'm just the dummy lego in the butt doing pretty good so far that's for sure have you had a chance to look at the data yet no i'm going to look at it uh what's your what's your butt tell you where you can we got a lot more yeah yeah i mean like that was just the confidence booster from doing all the changes we made last night oh yeah doing the big swing so today we should be able to what all did you change uh we changed the pump side up in a converter which is huge it's not like doing a state of change change you know 100 200 rpm you know you can only do a standard chain so far to where you can't make big jumps like what we're making we're trying to go for a thousand rpm difference and where it is grabbing with so the only way to do it is to change the pump size and kilometer yeah so what's your goal for the next few rounds how quick do you think it'll go a to b's uh i think if we could do try to do a 60 68 67 in the heat of the day it'll be pretty tough for these guys to keep up i mean we'll all be that's pretty much all you're going to be able to get in the day so you gotta buy first round yes sir nice yeah you gotta keep chipping away at that that hot track tune yeah i'm gonna try something let's see what it does probably just take it 3 30. unless it feels good it looks like the track's even worse than it was yesterday it looked worse i don't know on that hit i think they're running fives well everybody did that yesterday too that's true but yeah we just gotta try to be different than everybody now all right thank you calvin running at 372 in the heat of the day yesterday but today today it looks a little bit easier let's see if we can keep all right who you got this round uh the wild contraption over there yeah project x yeah we're gonna just try to go uh palm 60 right now bottom 60. slowing down just a little bit but that's still a solid pass going on the third round yeah yeah lock up the lock up two didn't work out so well no the valve was leaking i heard it inside the car at the top end oh so when it actuated it uh it was just dumping prior and then the valve got stuck look at the data see what the hell happened but yes on to round two tomorrow's going to be playing the challenge gonna be a good uh you think it'll be one or two rounds under the sun superchargers i think they're gonna do two rounds they have to because we got to be done all right looking forward to it see you making it through the third round bang that was a good race side by side threes calvin going a little bit slower today what a badass car though i love watching that rear suspension separate especially on that one yeah it just looked amazing damn ran on seven cylinders where'd it go so just for people that aren't familiar with spark plugs what does it mean when you pull one out it looks like that means that you're not firing you're not burning anything it's not doing it just spraying fuel on it not igniting exactly it's just going out raw fuel so that's why it looked like it was dieseling pretty bad going down the track oh okay you want a 80 something on seven cylinders yeah i don't even know eight not something pretty wild here what do we do 88 on seven cylinders on a 188 388 on seven
