**A Taste of Hungary: Exploring Traditional Hungarian Confections**

As I sat down to enjoy my quick lunch, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the thoughtful package that Little Miss s had sent me from all the way up to Montreal. With a mix of sweet and savory treats, each one was carefully selected to give me a taste of Hungary's rich culinary heritage.

My first treat was the Hungry, a type of traditional Hungarian candy filled with soft raspberry center. I couldn't help but notice its adorable shape, reminiscent of little raspberries, and took a bite to experience its flavor. To my surprise, it reminded me of French bomb candies from my childhood, with a lovely balance of tartness and sweetness. The filling was soft and yielding, providing a pleasant contrast to the crunchy exterior.

Next up was the TV Express yogurt candy, which I had been told meant it had strawberry yogurt in it. Indeed, as I looked at its packaging, I could see the yogurt filling inside, slightly pink and embossed with the words "TV" for short. Taking a bite, I was delighted to find that it tasted more like strawberry than chocolate, with just a hint of tanginess from the yogurt. This refreshing treat was like nothing I had ever tasted before.

For my final confection, Little Miss s sent me the Negro, also known as Chimney Sweep, which was said to ease a sore throat. As I held it up, I noticed its unique packaging and the patterning around it, giving it an old-fashioned feel. When I took a bite, I was struck by its sweet, floral flavor, which reminded me of Earl Grey tea. The Taffy-like filling added a pleasant texture to the candy, making it hard to put down.

Little Miss s for sending me this package and including a little note Little Miss s is actually an American she has some Hungarian Heritage in her and she went up to Canada and went to a Hungarian shop with her mom and actually picked up a few things for me so it was very sweet of you thank Little Miss so much for thinking of me and picking up a few Hungarian treats for me to try so this is my first taste of hungry so let's get started ja actually means lemon drop but looks like these ones are raspberry flavored to it means they're filled hard candies and look they are adorable they kind of dimpled so they look like little raspberries so let's give them a taste here we go M they remind me of these little French bomb I used to eat when I was a kid really nice raspberry flavor a little bit tart so since these are filled let's give them a bite and see what's inside M it's good soft Center and then when you bite it and chew it all together kind of becomes a bit of a Taffy bit crunchy delicious let's have some chocolate little mess tells me this is called TV Express yogurt easy she said it means it has strawberry yogurt in it it's embossed with TV on it you can kind of see the filling there and slightly pink wow very interesting it actually tastes more like strawberry rather than chocolate maybe a slight tanginess that would attribute the yogurt flavor pretty good not bad very very different kind of chocolate and then for my last one I have this it's called negro this means Chimney Sweep I guess so it's supposed to ease a sord throat oh look and if you look at the packaging there's the chimney site M they smell good almost floral has a little bit of a patterning around it very cute and kind of old fashiony reminds me some of those uh oldfashioned Christmas hard candies M it's nice it's very sweet and to me it taste a bit like Earl Gray Earl gry tea it's kind of got a faint floral Burger Mo kind of flavor to it it it's really nice kind of a Taffy filling doesn't taste at all medicinal just sweet and like I say it kind of reminds me of black tea finally Little Miss s sent me this noly I guess these are often made at home similar to German spel and it's a kind of dumpling or pasta that's usually made by hand but this is kind of like an instant pasta version she said her family makes a dish called chicken papash and it's a dish that includes this so what I'll do is I'll do a follow-up video actually cooking the kedley along with the chicken paprikas and I'll give it a taste so look for that video coming up soon I'll probably do it in the next
