all right so these are the smart glasses on my head right now that's what they look like so right now i think you can see through the lenses but so there is a little holder for prescription glasses if you have prescription that you can put on there you can it just slides in there if you have prescription and then you just wear the glasses like this and i'm pretty sure the smart part about it is it has a little sensor right here and so when you go into the sun it like the whole screen turns black like super fast right as you go into the sun it goes and just hold the whole thing like turns super dark like sunglasses right now they're like semi-transparent they're like almost glasses but not quite as clear and yeah i'm gonna get a live demonstration going all right so after testing these out for a few days i'm pretty sure the technology involved with these glasses is similar to the ones on like that new phone that xiaomi was testing out that they showed the under the screen camera i think the the technology is similar to this so like this is like has an lcd display and it's like semi-transparent but when it goes in the sun it gets a little bit of power and it powers on the display and it turns on like the tint from usability standpoint i mean they're pretty nice that i mean it's nice to have them like switch every so often but the main problem i have with these is they're so it's like they're so responsive that even when you turn away from the sun they'll get slightly brighter and it gives just gets obnoxious after a while that may be one issue that's just one that i personally had but yeah are they worth 85 dollars i mean you can you can choose for yourself but but me personally i probably would pay like maybe like 50 to 60 for these 85 is a little high for me but yeah you can choose for yourself also in that video of the slow-mo that i was not pressing a button or anything i was just it may look looked like it but i was just covering the center with my
