HTC Inspire 4G Unboxing

**Unboxing the HTC Inspire 4G: A First Look**

Hello and welcome back to my channel! Today we're going to take a look at the unboxed contents of the HTC Inspire 4G. Before we dive in, I want to make sure everything is stable and secure, so bear with me for just a second.

As you can see, there's not a ton in the box. We've got a HTC wall adapter, which I believe is micro USB. There are also some leaflets and warranties, along with instructions on how to connect to Wi-Fi on the AT&T network. As expected, we have safety and regulatory guides, but that's about it for now.

Let's push all this aside and take a closer look at the phone itself.

**A Quick Tour of the Phone**

Up front, you'll find a 4.3 inch display - it's a super LCD display with a resolution of 480x800. Along the bottom, there are four Android capacitive touch buttons that are part of the same piece as the glass or plastic (I'm not sure which!) above them. You'll also notice the HTC logo.

Moving on to the left side, you'll find a volume rocker and up top is the power button. I want to point out that the power button is basically flush with the rest of the phone, so we'll see how responsive it is in real-world testing.

On the right side, there's nothing to note, but on the back, you'll find an 8 megapixel camera and a dual LED flash.

**Initial Impressions**

One thing that stands out about this phone is how sturdy and well-built it feels. It's not too thick, and the camera has a slight lip to protect it from scratches. The soft-touch plastic is also a nice touch.

Now, let's move on to the specs.

**A Look at the Specs**

This phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, clocked at about 1 GHz. It comes with Android 2.2 Froyo and HTC Sense UI (more on that later). There are 768 megabytes of RAM, along with 4 GB of internal storage and an 8 GB micro SD card.

**Weight and Battery Life**

The phone weighs in at approximately 5.78 ounces. I'll be testing the battery life and will report back with my findings.

That's it for now - a brief unboxing and first look at the HTC Inspire 4G. If you're interested in more coverage, be sure to subscribe to the channel!

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: entoday I'm here with an unboxing of the HTC inspired 4G for the AT&T network so this is one of the newer Android phones available and by all accounts a pretty good Android phone on AT&T so let's just jump straight on into the unboxing uh so if we take a look the box is pretty small um there's some information and all that kind of stuff but we already know it's going to be in the boxes well we're about to find out so if we open it up now I do want to mention this is a review unit so this has been open before so uh well everything should be about the same as when you buy your own so you see here there's an HTC Spire 4G quick start guide um so it's got some information kind of telling you a little bit about how to use the phone how to put your micro SD card SIM card all that kind of good stuff but we'll take a look at that in a second uh now we have the phone itself which actually see if I can get it out without falling so there's the phone itself but we'll set that aside and uh take a look at that in a minute so doesn't look like there's going to be a ton in the Box uh yeah so we've got a HTC wall adapter and I believe that's yeah that's micro USB um we got a little bit more leaflets and warranties connect to Wi-Fi on the AT&T network so of course you can do that uh safety and reg regulatory guide a couple things like that but not a whole lot so let's push all this off to the side and take a look at the phone itself okay so let me give you guys a quick tour around the phone so up front you'll find a 4.3 in display it's going to be a super LCD display it's going to have a resolution of 480x 800 which is about the standard for phones like this um along the bottom you'll find four Android capacitive touch buttons and they're all part of the same uh that's either glass or plastic I have no idea but it's all part of the same thing and of course you have the HTC logo uh capactive touch buttons are usually you love it or you hate it uh you know depends on how responsive they are they light up all that kind of good stuff but of course I will take a look at that a little bit later um so flipping around on the bottom you'll find there's a 3 and half mm headset Jack I believe uh that looks like a micro USB and there's your microphone um flipping it over to the left side you'll find that there's a volume rocker and up top you'll find the power button actually I will kind of want to point this out here power button is basically flush it doesn't really I mean it might raise up just a slight bit but it's pretty much flush so I'm definitely interested to see how well that works um you know in real world testing if it's actually going to be easy to get to and all that kind of good stuff um around here on the right side you won't find anything and on the back you'll find your 8 megapixel camera as well as your dual LED flash and now I've got to say something about this phone it seems really really sturdy and really well built um so it's not really that thick at all as you guys can see here the camera does Pro just get up a little bit um but I think there's enough of a lip to keep the camera from getting scratched or anything like that but uh it definitely feels very very nice in the hand uh very sturdy it's got a decent heft to it it's certainly not really heavy or anything but feels nice Definitely uh a sturdy foam I believe that's probably metal but I really don't know um definitely feels pretty sturdy and youve got some nice soft touch plastic here here and here uh so anyway guys let's go ahead and just take this opportunity to give you guys a little rundown of the specs so this runs the uh the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is clocked at about 1 gahz it runs Android 2.2 froo with the HTC Sense UI which of course I'll take a look at in the full review it has 768 megabytes of ram 4 GB of internal storage along with an 8 GB micro SD card so imagine it's probably somewhere inside there you got your SD card um it weighs about 5.78 o which again that come comes back around to it's nice and thick and well not nice and thick but it's rather nice and heavy uh feels really solid in the hand so no issues there and then the battery is a 1230 milliamp hour battery so I'll definitely test the battery life and all that kind of good stuff uh so anyway guys that's about it of my unboxing of the HDC Inspire 4G uh definitely stay tuned to the channel I'll be doing lots more coverage of the phone uh so if you're interested definitely be sure to hit up that subscribe button above
